They where very professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They hauled away the tree that was removed. The pruned trees looked really good. It was exactly what we expected.

The estimate process was great. However, the estimate to prune and shape 2 linden trees is more than our budget can handle right now.

They were going to mail me an estimate last Wednesday and I have never received it. I have a feeling that they are blowing me off.

I would highly recommend them. They were very prompt in coming out and giving a good estimate on the service. They cleaned up beautifully after themselves and were every responsive.

I have used them before and I really like that they send over an arborist to first talk to me about all the trees on my property. They have always done a great job and i will use them again when needed.

They did a good job and followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I would use them again.

I already had estimates I had obtained in the fall and planned to have work done a little at a time over the next couple of years. During a wind storm Christmas Day one of the trees cracked at the base and was leaning on the tree next to it. Concerned that it would fall on my neighbor's house, I called to order that work done. I signed the order the day after that, Dec. 27. I was told that it might be as much as two weeks before the work was done. I waited about a month and called back. After that and several calls back and forth, the work was finally done February 4. The quality was excellent, except for lots of small branches that I am still raking up. I understand the weather was partly to blame for the delay, as well as for workers not being able to clean up the small branches, but no one contacted me to explain. On the other hand, the office staff is excellent, friendly and very helpful. They tolerated and communicated several special requests that were met.

We did not get an estimate from this company since we were told they would charge $65 just to come out to give an estimate. Admittedly, this was following the large storm we had in August when there were a lot of people with tree damage. Maybe they were too busy?

They were so very careful not to do any damage to the landscaping, other then were there trucks made a dent in the ground. The district sales manager came out to survey the situation and he was so nice. He ended up giving me a lesson in trees. I now know what type of trees I have and when the best time of the year is to trim them. They cleaned up and hauled away the wood. I like the fact that they ground the stump in under the ground. It makes the yard look much better. They area very good bunch of people.

I thought this company did a professional job and my trees looked good when they were finished. I do think that they might be a little pricey but from what I experienced with them, they are well worth it.

Called Haney and the estimate was prompt and professional and we chose Haney because of this and the competitive price. After that it has gone downhill. A week after faxing over the contract, I had not received any call from Haney to schedule the tree removal. I called and was told the "scheduler" was not in. I called back a week later and the very nice secretary told me the "scheduler" was again not available but that she had placed my work order on the top of the pile on his desk. Another week went by and still nothing. I called again and the secretary said she would personally see to it that I would get scheduled. She called back and the soonest they could come out was in two weeks. They did finally come out and the crew was great, quick and professional. That was a month ago and we are still waiting for them to remove the stump. I called and told the secretary this is the worst company I have ever worked with.

It was a very pleasant experience. The most impressive was that the man who came to give the estimate walked around the yard with me, then sat in his truck and left the printed estimate with all details in my mailbox before he left. The workers came when I expected them and did all work that day, including a great clean-up job.

I was pleased with their work. We had a visit the day after we called, and the estimate was in our mailbox 2 days later. After they provided proof of insurance, we signed a contract and waited for them to schedule. I came home from work one day and the tree was gone and they did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves.

The estimator discouraged me from using their service because of the travel distance.

Vendor quoted the lowest prices of two we solicited bids from. Once the work was schedule, it was performed per their stated specs and to our satisfaction.

They never came to remove the tree.

The company arrived, did the tree trimming, cleaned up and left. No muss, no fuss, no bother. Brought in heavy equipment, but did not damage the turf.

Very, very well. They were the most professional of all that I interviewed. I was told exactly what they would do and more importantly, why. They were not the lowest cost, but I felt they were the most professional and seemed to genuinely care about our trees. They also did not charge for the estimate, as others did.

I called them for a quote, which I received in about two weeks. I was not in a hurry because tree trimming season had not started yet. I accepted their quote and they scheduled me for tree trimming. They did the work as detailed above. The thinned tree looks much better and the cable looks solid. The Honey Locust was trimmed away from my yard while being careful not to over trim it, because it is my neighbor's tree. I received written permission from her. They cleaned up all debris. As an added note, I initially was going to have them trim a large branch off another tree that looked like the branch was dying. They instead diagnosed the problem as a mineral deficiency. They will add minerals to the soil in the spring. This diagnosis probably saved the tree. I did not rate them on price because I did not get other quotes.

I called the company to ask for a quote. When I didn't hear from them for two weeks, I called back. They had no indication of my first call. Finally, I got a quote in the mail. I talked to them and they told me to sign the quote and fax it back. I didn't hear from them for a long time, so I called them again. They couldn't find the fax and asked me to re-fax the signed quote. They finally came out and did an excellent, professional job with the trimming and with the cleanup afterwards, but they need to be more careful about responding to phone messages and faxes.

It was amazing to watch these guys work! One fellow climbed the tree and dropped a rope on it for support during the actual cutting. I was a little scared but everything went perfectly. They carried out all the logs and branches to the front of the house for pick-up a little later in the day.

I called this company and arranged for someone come out and give me an estimate, and within a week I found a B.Haney & Sons brochure wedged in my screen door indicating that their representative had visited that day. About three days later a bid/proposal arrived in the mail. It explained in simple language what steps they would take and the price for each step. After I accepted the bid two weeks went by and I heard nothing so I called them to see if they had the contract (which they did) and they said they would be out in a month. They telephoned me the day before they came. I was not around when the trees were cut down but when I returned home that night all that was left of them were the stumps and some wood stacked neatly on the parkway. The next day the woodpile on the parkway was gone. About a week or so later I noticed the stumps were no longer visible and when I went to check up close, I saw they had been taken out and replaced with wood shavings flush with the surrounding lawn.

First called for a quote. With the Angie's discount the quote was within the ball park of the other quotes. Also we had work done by Haney in the past and we were very satisfied. The tree was removed and all branches cleaned up. About 2 weeks later the stump was removed. The depression was backfilled and everything was cleaned up to our satisfaction. We would go back to Haney again if needed in the future. The crews were very good on both occasions.

They did what they said they would at the price they quoted. I would use them again.
