I installed this product last summer to solve the problem of leaves in my gutter. This issue caused some icing last winter and I specifically wanted to solve this issue. The salesperson told me it would. Please see the attached pictures to see how the solution worked. Obviously, it created it's own problem. In the fall I had runoff during thunderstorms--the winter it has truly created a serious icing issue!!! When I called--the service department kept referring me to mother nature. What? I've lived in my home for 15 years--the first ever problem was last winter--the cause: leaves. This winter, the leaves are gone, but the problem is even worse. Nothing to do with mother nature. If this product is installed on the north side of the house, the screen freezes over and does not melt and the ice continues to built, and build, and build. After VERY frustrating conversations with their service department--I said I wanted the filters unistalled--their answer? Sign a waver and we will. I will not sign anything until I see what damage their product caused to my roof. Need proof? Look below--every inch of the filter is frozen!! The product is awful and the service department condescending. AVOID

Paid someone to go on the roof to blow off the leaves. I was worried about liability on that. I called them and their system completely covers the top of gutters. Has a lifetime warranty. BBB gold star recipient. The warranty is transferable. They don't replace your gutters. They give you brochures to explain the system. They give you a leaf price guarantee on the exact same product. Completely clean the gutters and downspout Reseal the end caps and drop outlets Apply 50 year silicon gutter sealant Make repairs where needed Realign where necessary Install the leaf filter gutter system Price seems somewhat negotiable. Consumer report gave me a range of 3500 filter options that are whole house gutters.

The experience was very good. There was one piece of guard that I found on the staircase on the deck the day later. I called and told them there was a piece that may have fallen off and they were wanting to give it to me just in case I need it in the future, it was an extra piece. I was pleased with the work they did.

They cleaned out my gutters. They coated the gutters with a waterproof material. They installed the leaf filter on top of the gutters.

They were accommodating. When my husband had looked at the different parts and the way they went together, the leaf filter people had a better system to keep the leaves out. They were responsive. Their price was good and they would honor it in the spring.

I had seen them at a street fair and the price that they gave me was too good to be true; so I went with them. It turned out very well. The price was excellent. He had originally quoted me much, much higher and after negotiation; I guess he wanted to be able to put the sign out in my neighborhood, in terms of being able to promote this company. They were originally located out of Ohio, I believe. So far, I am satisfied with the results but it's quite early.
