Great service from J.L. and highly recommend them. We called around to several places. They were the easiest company to work with.If you need a one time pick up and your regular garbage service can not do it give them a call.

J.L. was very responsive, customer oriented and accommodating. They told me when they would deliver and delivered it even earlier, communicating with me all the way through the process.They also picked it up exactly when I asked them to. I was so pleased and in such a cleaning groove, that I rented another 10 foot dumpster from them about a week later. Again, the same exceptional and pleasant service. I wouldn't contact anyone else for my next dumpster rental!

The price was good, delivered on time placed the dumpster were requested, and picked up when job was completed.

From the start, I was impressed with J.L. He answered my call and addressed all my questions. I called several times with some additional questions and he answered the phone personally each time, unlike many contractors. Most important to me was his flexibility on the pick-up time. I needed a few extra hours to fill the dumpster on pick-up day and he was able to schedule the removal later on that day. That was a huge benefit to me. Bobby was a great driver and placed the dumpster in a precise spot at the back of my driveway. I have a very narrow driveway with trees on one side and my house on the other. He expertly backed his rig into my driveway and did not even come close to hitting my house or damaging the trees. I can't say enough about how good a job Bobby did for me. Overall, I would definitely use J.L. again. Quality service from start to finish.

I needed a dumpster to clean out my moms house and after shopping around, this was the best price. Besides price, I always consider professionalism and communication. JL didn't let me down. Delivered a 20 yard dumpster on time, no problems. I originally asked for 7 days, but was done by Sunday (from Friday). Left a message to please come get it and Monday morning it was gone. If I had to leave a message, it was returned very promptly. I will happily call on JL again when the need arises!!

I was taking down some wood and I needed a 10 yard dumpster. The guy I delat was great and was very personable. I was given a timeframe for the dumpster to arrive and it arrived within the given timeframe. I called after having it one day to have them pick it up, and with limited trucks they said it might be that night or the next day before they could get it. By the next morning, it was already gone. Everything went smoothly.

I was looking for a new dumpster provider because of inconsistency and lack of responsiveness with my current provider. JL has been perfect, responds to calls, delivers and picks up when requested. Drivers and dispatchers that call ahead of time when they will be later (or earlier) than requested. Electronic billing...everything has been perfect so far. I will continue to use JL for the foreseeable future. I primarily use 20yd containers.

I called three or four days before needing the dumpster. My call was returned and all matters were very professionally handled. I'd highly recommend JL.

This was an easy, stress-free experience from start to finish. I had never ordered a dumpster before and was a bit apprehensive, but JL returned phone calls promptly, answered questions and were friendly and professional. They delivered and picked it up exactly when they said they would and took time to fit it into a tight driveway. No issues, no hassles and the price seemed reasonable.

Our entire experience with JL Roll-off Service was extremely positive. This is a company that understands and provides outstanding customer service and value. JL (owner) quoted $425 (less $10 for mentioning Angie's List) for the 30 yard dumpster based upon a seven (7) day rental, including a barricade (with light). JL also advised us of the per day charge (beyond the 7 day rental period) and the specific weight limit that was included in the price quote. During our initial conversation, JL indicated 30 yard dumpsters would be harder to order as July 4th approached because of the higher demand. Most customers prefer a larger dumpster (assuming it can be filled), as it is more economical to order a 30 yard dumpster with 1 pickup rather than a 20 yard dumpster with 2 pickups. Keep this in mind when you are considering what size dumpster to order. Also take into consideration that neighbors will often ask if they can throw things in, while other times items that did not come from you will mysteriously appear in the dumpster. Based upon other quotes I had received from highly-rated (per Angie's List community) companies providing roll-off service, I knew the price quoted by JL was very competitive. As a bonus, JL Roll-off Service offered a higher weight allowance that was included in the price and also provided a barricade (with light), which is required by the Village of Oak Park. We agreed upon a delivery window between 9am-12noon on Friday, June 25th, with pick-up scheduled for Friday, July 2nd. The dumpster was delivered @11:45am on Friday, June 25th, which was within the agreed-upon delivery window. Typically a roll-off company will try and pick up a full dumpster somewhere, take it to the landfill for emptying, and then delivery that dumpster to a new customer. Sometimes the previous customer needs/wants to keep the dumpster for an additional period, which can impact the roll-off company's pick-up/delivery schedule. More on that later. Where the full dumpster is located and to which landfill it will be taken can also impact the pick-up/delivery schedule, so I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived on time. The driver (Paul) placed the dumpster in a perfect spot on his first attempt. On Thursday, July 1st, we thought it would be great if we could extend the dumpster rental for an additional day or two (and pay the per day rate, which JL had previously explained) so that we could do some additional demolition work. We still had enough room in the dumpster and thought, why not? Keep in mind the July 4th weekend is a very busy period for roll-off companies, with large picnics at various parks, street festivals, Taste of Chicago, etc., all needing dumpsters (pick-up and delivery). We contacted JL and inquired about extending the dumpster rental for an additonal day or two and indicated we didn't want his team to have to make a special pick-up on a holiday. JL mentioned he was planning to use the dumpster we had a part of an order of 5 30 yard roll-offs for another customer, but after reviewing his inventory, commitments, and schedule, he indicated he would figure something out for his other customers and we could keep the 30 yard dumpster until Tuesday -- at no additional charge! Talk about great customer service. In the end, we worked all night to do the additional demolition work so that JL Roll-off Service would be able to pick up the 30 yard dumpster we had rented as originally scheduled on Friday (7/2). We didin't want JL to have to rearrange his delivery/pick-up schedule or to lose a potential customer because he lacked inventory just to accomodate our request. After all, JL has a business to run. But we really appreciated his willingness to work with us and go the extra mile to help us out. The dumpster was picked up Friday (7/2) afternoon by JL himself. We learned a few things about his business and have a greater appreciation of some of the challenges he faces. It's not that often one gets to talk with a business owner and we appreciate the time he spent discussing his business. BTW, we had researched JL Roll-off Service on Angie's List prior to ordering the 30 year dumpster and after doing business with the company we understan why it has received overwhelimingly postitive reviews. Add another one from us. Bottom line: The next time we need a dumpster, it is a no-brainer that we will call JL Roll-off Service to order one. What an outstanding customer experience!

Great. The price is great in comparison to Others we called. The pick ups and drop offs were all one time and the owner is very responsive. Would definately use them again.

We needed a dumpster immediately and J.L. came to the rescue. Prompt drop off and pick up. Very fair price, and great staff. J.L. was the only service to reassure me that our soil would not be reused or recycled.

I am happy with J.L. The price was right, they were responsive and punctual, and the driver was helpful when we were trying to decide where to put the container. I would definitely use them again.

J.L. was great to work with - very pleasant. The driver was quick, quiet and efficient on both the drop off and pick up. Dumpster was in good shape. They were able to handle this project on short notice after my original contact was unable to comply with my town's safety requirements.

They were really friendly on the phone and provided me with what I needed and always called to inform me of times that they were coming, they got the street permit for me. They also have a really great website that was easy to navigate.

Wonderful. Even Picked it up early because of parking issues. In the processes of gut rehab and will use again.
