I appreciated the flexibility; the night before I realized that I needed a 20ft versus 10ft and I received confirmation that was doable. From the beginning communication was superb. Dumpster drop off and pick up was timely; they weren't rigid and provided flexibility for the number of days I needed. They were also flexible about the type of payment and we were able to work out a win win for the both of us.

I found this vendor via Angie's list and emailed the company. My call was returned promptly and the man explained my options. The dumpster arrived on time as expected and they picked it back up on time. I would definitely recommend this company and plan to use them again.

He was accommodating on time tables and when I called him 2 days later to tell him we filled it, he was quick to get it picked up and drop another one! I'd use him again in a heart beat. Plus, he offered 10$ off for Angies list customers!

I was driving on I-55 on a Saturday morning and was several car lengths behind the JL Roll-off vehicle. I watched a large piece of wood pallet fall from the truck and saw the cars around it scatter to avoid being hit. I slowed but was unable to avoid a piece that bounced off the shoulder and back into my lane. We took pictures of debris hanging out of the truck, the driver, and the license plate then pulled over to check the damage. The driver never stopped. We called the State Police and showed the pictures. We also notified JL Roll-off from the highway and via email with the pictures. The piece of debris did $1070 of damage to the hood and grill...Thankfully it did not go through the windshield and injure someone in the family. My insurance company contacted the owner and he completely denied all responsibility and was quite rude. He was unwilling to give his insurance information despite having some pretty good evidence that his vehicle did in fact drop debris on the highway. I have know idea if he ever even questioned his driver or perhaps my have actually been the driver at the time but someone at JL Roll-off knows they damaged my vehicle and they are unwilling to step forward. Vehicles roll up and down our highways all the time and they improperly secure their loads and cause thousands if not millions of dollars in damage with impunity. JL Roll-off is one of theses companies and does not deserve to be a respected Angie's List contractor. BE AWARE...if JL Roll-off damages your property or does something wrong, you will be stuck with the bill. They will deny all responsibility even when there is substantial evidence to the contrary and someone within their organization who knows the truth. Send this company a message...Don't use them!! In response to your response...your company picks up garbage and transports it to the dump presumably without scattering it all over the countryside. Reputable businesses that homeowners can trust should be able to pick up garbage without the homeowner having to worry about where it will end up being found. If you were so convinced that your company was not at fault then why hang up on me? Is it so difficult to have a discussion? How many people call you from the road on a Saturday to leave a message saying they got hit by debris from your truck and then follow up with pictures? Your driver is a liar because we slowed to 45 mph to get him to pull over and he slowed more to stay away from us. When we pulled over he immediately changed lanes and sped past us. This is not a traffic grievance, this is a simple matter of your company being unable to meet the minimum requirements of your service by keeping the debris in your truck. Even if the debris hadn't damaged my vehicle, Angie's list members need to know if they are working with a company that can meet the minimum requirements of their business. You sir, did not on this day.

We ended up having to book this on short notice...I called Monday for a Wednesday delivery. To my pleasure, they were able to accommodate me. When the dumpster was dropped off, fifteen minutes into the window of time allotted, the driver listened to my concerns about driveway damage and positioned the dumpster just so to avoid it. We had the dumpster for the weekend. When they picked it up Monday, they did so quietly enough I didn't even hear the truck.

They were fantastic. I think I called a couple of months in advance of needing the dumpster and asked a dozen questions (including many follow-up phone calls). JL was so patient and answered all of my questions. He was super responsive and always called back, even on Easter Sunday (the day before the dumpster was delivered). They arrived on time and even gave us a discount when we didn't fill the dumpster up completely.

They were fine. They called me back when I didn't call back. There was nothing that I disliked. They came and they did what they said they were going to do. I had no problems with them.

The dumpster was delivered first thing Saturday morning, as I had requested. When I came home from work on Monday it was gone, neat and clean.

Great turnaround time, we called these guys and were able to schedule a date for the dumpster for the same week we called them. Very professional, they gave us a quote, and stood by it. They came when they said they were going to come and were good about calling us to let us know when the driver would be coming for both drop-off and pick up.

J.L. was great. He was flexible about the drop off time, and came out on relatively short notice. Even the snow and ice we've been dealing with in Chicago did not deter him. He expertly dropped the dumpster on the street in front of our house, and picked it up with no problems 3 days later. While he was at our house to drop off the dumpster, we talked about some yard work I plan on doing when the weather improves, and we certainly plan on using J.L. again to haul away the yard waste. His prices are fair and he clearly cares about his business. I can't recommend J.L. enough.

Prompt, professional, courteous and friendly. I have worked with several dumpster services, as a GC, and this was my first time using JL. I can tell you, they will be my go-to company from now on!

I have used JL Rolloff on two separate occassions and I like the service. The last time I accidentally made the dumpster too heavy (> 1 ton). JL wroked with me and asked me to simply send the check for an extra $100 in the mail and was nice throughout the entire process.

With only a 1 day advance notice I received the dumpster right one time as promised. The driver was great! I high recommend using this servicer provider considering the competition. I finished in a day and just called the office and asked for an pickup next day. I had originally scheduled the dumpster for a few more days. Nice to have an operation with flexibility and will call you back right away.

I decided only a few days prior that I wanted a dumpster to do my demo job. I called a few places, they were all approximately similar costs, but J.L. provided one in the timeframe needed, they were forgiving and it was easy to schedule a pickup. If I need another dumpster I would give them a call.

I used J and L throughout my rehab. The owner was always responsive, the drivers were always polite and proficient and the price was fair. I would highly recommend this company.

They dropped it off for two days and then they came back to pick it up. It went fine, came out as promised and picked it up as promised.

They were on time with the right equipment and they agreed to hold the dumpster in place for an extra couple of days with no protest.

He said he would have it there between 7-9am He was there at 7:30 on Saturday with a pickup on Monday. He was very nice and asked where exactly did I want it etc. We filled it to capacity cleaning out a hoarders type garage situation. It was picked up as promised Monday.

I called J.L. Roll Off Service not knowing exactly what service I needed: they were able to explain the different ways I could arrange to have unwanted items from our back yard and shed hauled off, and we agreed upon their "load and go" service, which didn't require having a dumpster installed. In addition to the truck to haul away the debris, they were able to provide a 3-person crew to load the truck. It only took an hour for them to haul away a ridiculous amount of stuff, and they even helped cut back a tree that was in the way of the back gate. All three men who came were polite and very hard-working. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this process turned out to be.

Service was great. Driver arrived about 10 am on the morning promised. He placed the container perfectly and had the barricades that the town required. We set up an automatic pickup after 5 days and they picked it up as planned. This was my 1st time ordering a dumpster and it could not have been easier. I would definately use J+L again.

Very responsive on order and within a day the dumpster was delivered. Pick-up was on time as well. Great overall experience.
