The technician was on time. Did the job quickly and did not leave any mess. He showed us pictures of the insides of the chimney and explained everything thouroughly.

I called on Friday Jan 21 n they were out on Mon Jan 24 n fixed our problem with in 25 mins. Our landlord said that they couldnâ t find anyone. Iâ m glad I went to Angieâ s list n found them

Very professional. We received multiple quotes for a firebox rebuild and GPR was both reasonable and thorough. When asked to look at our furnace liner, he was able to provide a competitive quote quickly. On the day the work was scheduled, the workers showed up on time and prepared the worksite with tarps and plywood to protect our furniture and hardwood. When completed, the workers cleaned up and left as if they weren’t even here. Very impressed with the work and highly recommend. We will use them in the future.

Our Chimney was in abject disrepair, so we had 5 estimates. GPR was the ONLY pro to get up on the roof. (others stood at great distance with binocs, then hastily scribbled illegible notes, if I got an estimate at all.) He went down to our H20 heater to assess the chimney liner! Very thorough and detailed. Despite 90 degree temps he and his crew were very patient and responsive to our needs. Long story short, We would recommend GPR 10 out of 10 times.

I highly recommend GPR Chimney Restoration. After a very poor relining job of our chimney by another company, our fireplace was no longer safe to use. We called other chimney companies to fix it, but the job was either too large or they wanted to do unnecessary work like dismantling the chimney, adding significantly to the cost. German, the owner of GPR took a look at what was required, gave us a reasonable price, and completed the relining of both the fireplace and heating system using stainless steel and completed the job in 3 days, (2 half days and two full days). They covered the work area and removed all of the debris. When they were done, I was amazed at how clean the front room was. German told us that they will leave it clean and they did. I am very grateful that they restored our fireplace to working condition and made sure that the heating system is properly vented. If you need your chimney repaired, you will not find a more honest or hardworking company. I highly recommend them.

Extremely positive. The price was competitive and the workmanship was top notch. GPR performed a firebox rebuild and a parge of the chamber, as well as an installation of a new damper installed at the chimney cap level. The work was performed timely and the firebox looks great. Two days after the work was performed, a different, well-known, chimney restoration visited to perform prep work for a cement liner installation in the chimney chamber, and the company rep remarked when he saw the work that "whoever did your work did a remarkable job". I felt pretty good about going with GPR after that.

We have a large, double-sided fireplace that created so much smoke in the house it was pretty much unuseable... previous owner had also installed doors that were too small for the openings, so even more smoke escaping around them... but we loved the doors (and you can't get them made like that anymore) and wanted to reuse them... German and his crew came out, listened to my needs (remove existing doors, narrow openinga on both sides by one course of additional brick, and reinstall doors, properly sealing them) and took detailed pictures of the existing brick to match it... the estimate was very reasonable, and the work was completed promptly... the bricks they found matched existing beautifully, and they got the grout perfect as well... they checked in repeatedly to make sure we were happy with the colors/etc... While here, they also inspected/cleaned fireplace and chimney, and suggested we parge the smokebox inside (for safety and for better draft)... additional quote provided on the spot, and additional work completed with the original work... they also water-sealed the exterior chimney bricks, and resealed the chimney cap... Tested fireplace after waiting for all mortar to cure, no more smoke in house!! Cannot recommend these guys enough!!

GPR was the very first company to come out to look over the chimney. He thoroughly explained everything to me, His work was great and the price was much better than two other companies that came out. I had a new liner put in the chimney plus a repair of the chimney near the boiler. (I had hole in the chimney near the boiler that you could put your hand through). They patched this up and cleaned up very well after the job was done. I highly recommend this company.
