The owner, Kirke Cushing, came to my house to personally cut-out and haul away wet carpet the morning after a rain storm. The personal level of service was excellent. They showed they care about satisfying the customer s expectations. Really happy with that and the end product.

From start to finish this job was done professionally and the results prove my point. Despite having contracted for this pre-COVID, Kirke and his team worked with me to install the floor after our out-of-town relatives returned to their home. No questions asked and all changes were cheerfully accepted. That's unusual. The Armstrong pre-finished oak flooring is a dream come true. As someone who has lived through floor refinishing multiple times, I can attest to how simple and cleanly this flooring was installed. No fine dust everywhere, no chemical smell. Just one (day) and done! In addition to Kirke's helping us to choose the right flooring for our needs, FCI's team of installers were spectacular! Kirke Cushing did an amazing job helping me work thru multiple concerns regarding allergans, helping me learn about non-toxic carpeting, adhesives, etc as I want a home with the least amount of toxins as possible. I was able to pick beautiful, plush carpeting that would be safe in our home. He was flexible with our multiple changes, as well as our ever changing timeline. Installers came in with all necessary safety equipment- masks, gloves etc. We will have another project in the fall, I will definitely be hiring Kirke (Floor Covering International) for this.
