They didn't put the nuts and bolts on so the lights started falling out. It was not Scott's fault it was his worker he had with him. Scott came back and fixed everything, and he did a beautiful job, I would only hire Scott, but his partner was awful.

They did a nice job. He set my expectations properly on my old home.

Went well. Arrived on time and installed new fan. Even cleaned up afterward.

Few issues getting times coordinated but overall a really nice job. would definitely use again and would highly recommend . Took less than an hour. completely forgot to submit review.

Incredibly professional. They covered all affected areas with covers and vacuumed afterwards. Confirmed the placement of all lights and offered rules of thumb in separation and placement. Made several on the fly adjustments that were a better solution than the origin plan. All workers were very polite and hardworking. Scott Nelson personally quoted the job and was at the job site at the beginning to make sure everything was executed as planned. I completely recommend Scott Nelson Electric without reservation.

I needed to install some track lights to lighten up my dinning room for a gathering of family and friends. Mr. Nelson took the extra effort to pick up the tracks himself and installed them on time. They did a great job and their work really changed the dynamic of the room.

Scott responded to my requests immediately. He showed up on time for the estimate. His install crew was great and showed up on time. They completed the project within 2 days. I will be using them again for future work.

I couldn't be happier with the experience I had today. If I could give this company an A+, I would. Their quality of work and responsiveness were exceptional! Late last night when I flipped a switch, all lights/outlet in that room stopped functioning. Immediately thereafter, lights/outlets in a nearby room were functioning at a very low level (maybe 35% of full strength). I called the business owner this morning, and left a message. He called back right away and said electricians would arrive at my home in two hours. The men arrived promptly, and got to work troubleshooting. As I walked them around the house initially, i mentioned that my hallway light was not working (unrelated to the recent event). They fixed that, as well! After they opened up the outlets for testing, they took the time to rewire them correctly (the outlets were wired poorly, previously). My wiring and switches are somewhat strange, and they navigated through it all. They asked great questions, and kept me updated as they were doing the work. I was impressed by their demeanor and professionalism. They spoke respectfully to each other and to me, and didn't express any frustration along the way. They had to move a few pieces of furniture, and put everything back where it belonged. I was so pleased with this experience. I must also mention that I called multiple other electricians this morning. Some couldn't come today, and others still have not returned my call. It says a lot that Scott Nelson Electric responded and finished a service appt well before the other businesses first called me back. Bravo, and job well done. They deserve an A+++.

Couldn't be happier with the service! From getting the estimate to doing the work, Scott and crew were nothing but fantastic - punctual, responsive, friendly, hard-working, and professional. They were also very clean throughout the process and afterwards. I would HIGHLY recommend using them for any electrical needs!

Scott was very responsive and friendly - I received a reply to my message same day and scheduled an appointment within a week. He was on-time to the appointment and was able to complete the job efficiently, he even installed an interior switch for our new light, which was great. We will definitely be keeping his information on-hand for future electrical needs!

It was a great experience having Scott Nelson and his crew do some work at our house. Scott came out right away to take a look at what we wanted done and quickly emailed us a quote. We responded a couple months later when we were ready to have the work done and he scheduled a day to do all the work. He was always very responsive by phone and email. Scott arrived on time at 8am with approximately 5 other guys to do the work. The crew that worked with him were polite and friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. They finished the work around 2pm and cleaned up extremely well after themselves, which is important to us. They vacuumed up any dust and everything was left in the same condition it was in when they arrived. As for the work: He ran a line out under our yard to an existing lamppost at the end of the driveway and replaced a light fixture by a bush on the same line and installed a new light switch to control them in the house. Neither outside light had worked for years and we're happy to have them back. He also installed an outlet on the front outside of our house at the same time. Inside, he ran a new dedicated line to our new sump pump in the basement. He also trouble-shooted 2 canister lights that were having issues and those now work again. While he was here doing that work with his crew, we thought of two other items we wanted done and he provided us quotes to do each one and was able to fit in the work. So we had an extra outlet added to a basement room and he took a 3 switch panel in a bathroom and made it 2 switches and 2 GFI outlets. Previously, the bathroom had no outlets. We had seen great reviews for Scott's company on Angie's List and he more than met our expectations and we would definitely use him again.

The electricians arrived on time and got right to work. They got all lights working again, with the exception of one light. They did try a few things to get it going again, but it was concluded that the issue was within the light itself and not with the wiring. The guy gave me info on where to get the light fixture fixed and showed me how to install it myself once I get it fixed. That was helpful!

Replaced an outlet near my sink. They came out right away and replaced it after I could not figure out why my new one I put in was not working. Turns out it was due to the previous one being wired incorrectly but they figured it out and had the minor job completed lickity split! Would definitely call again!

Scott (the owner) visited the house to do the estimating of the job. He was right on time and a very personable professional. The crew chief Mike was right on time to start the job, the guys were prepared and worked steadily. In spite of a few glitches inherent of an old house, all installations were done right and within budget. I would highly recommend Scott Nelson and his professional electricians.

From the first time I reached out to Scott, he was so responsive. He came out right away to give me an estimate and then he emailed it to me in the time frame that he promised. The work went well and even afterwards when I had a question, Scott called me back same day with the answer. It was great to work with Scott and I would definitely recommend him to others.

We needed to outlets in the basement near our electrical panel, each on their own breaker. They showed up on time, did the work very quickly, and did a nice neat professional looking job.

Early Sunday, the dryer stopped working. I hadn't realized it then but so did the washer and sump pump in the room. At night while online shopping for a new dryer, when it started to get cold, I realized the furnace hadn't come on in awhile. I checked downstairs and realized it wasn't getting power nor was the one other device on the line...the water softener. I checked breakers and nothing was tripped. I tried a lamp in the outlet and nothing. I looked up Electrician on Angieslist on Monday and scheduled a service call for Tuesday. They were extremely prompt. Two guys, one named Mike and a younger guy (didn't catch his name). Both were cleancut and looked professional. I took them downstairs to show them the problem. At first, the issue was hired to diagnose but when I mentioned how unlucky I was the dryer also "broke" yesterday, Mike asked to see it. He popped open that outlet and within 30 seconds guessed the issue. He tracked the problem to another outlet which serviced the washing machine and found the neutral had broken on the back of the outlet. I was totally confused...I didn't know the washing machine and sump were even a problem. I also couldn't understand how that line was effected by the other. Mike walked through it with me. Even though each line was separate for power, they both used the same neutral. When the neutral broke on the outlet to the Washing machine, it cut power to both lines. He noted that this is normally okay to share the neutral but the problem was whoever put the outlets in "stabbed" them in the back of the outlet which is apparently not to code anymore for this very reason. When the stabbed neutral broke, juice had nowhere to go on both lines. He also warned me that its possible some of devices on either line may have been fried. Ugh! that's Washer, Dryer, Sump pump, furnace, water softener! He and his partner fixed all the outlets on those lines twisting all the neutrals so it wouldn't break like that again. He got power back on and luckily the Washer, Dryer, and Sump pump came back. Unfortunately, the furnace and water softener didn't. He checked power to the furnace and said its definitely getting juice so it was likely the transformer or maybe circuit board. Obviously, the furnace wasn't his deal so they wrapped up, asked me if I had any other questions, and billed me. I will definitely reach out to these guys again for some future work I need (electrical stuff on a kitchen remodel). btw...read my AA Service Heating and Cooling review for details on the furnace...it was the transformer like Mike I had guessed).

Absolutely wonderful company to work with - professional, kept appointment, responded to questions, did a good job, was fairly priced, I work and it just was a great experience.

They were fantastic. They're excellent, from top to bottom. They have reasonable prices and are very efficient. They are also very thorough. They got more done than we planned for in the time period. They were extremely organized and very customer-focused. Overall, they're truly professionals.

This is the third time we have used Scott Nelson electric. They always correctly diagnose and fix the problem quickly. They are able to fit us into their schedule quickly and are on time.
