Very efficient (and understanding considering the two constantly barking dogs the entire time they were there.)

We initially called Scott to have him install a 4-plug outlet for us. He responded immediately and sent Ben and Eric within a week. We were lucky to get them during a "slow day" because we added three additional projects while they were at the house: wiring for a new light fixture and switch in kitchen, a new light fixture in bathroom, and wiring all our pull-chain lights in the basement to the main switch. They completed all the work and answered all our questions. I was impressed with both the quality and speed of their work. They also did a great job in cleaning up afterwards.

Scott installed the new 220v line and 30v breaker for me. He did an excellent job and performed the installation accurate to his quote both from a cost and time estimate.

I purchased a home that did not have any outside electrical outlets on it. 2 years later I realized that that was something I needed. I called several companies. I really had the too high and too low experience that reminded me of Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Scott Nelson came somewhere in between and it was a great experience. I was given a window of 830-10 for arrival. They called at 810 to let me know they had been stopped by a train and would be there around 830 which they didn't have to do but I felt important. They arrived, did the work quickly and cleanly and left. It was nice not to be hassled into extra charges. I will use him again.

They came checked and confirmed issue with light switch and outlet were not related and replaced both. The two gentlemen that came were polite and professional and finished the job quickly.

Job required running new conduit from service panel, through wall and floor to lower level of house, with two circuits going behind a finished wall to a small work area beneath a granite countertop. Scott quoted time-and-material basis because of the uncertainty about how difficult routing the new circuits might be. I saw it as maybe a two-day job, but Scott's crew was done in 6.5 hours. Reasonable lead time (about 2 weeks) after signing work order, firm start date. Friendly and competent crew. Second time I've used Scott Nelson; would definitely go nowhere else for the next project!

Scott stopped by, promptly as scheduled, and patiently listened to my situation. Took a quick look around and mentioned that he couldn't figure out what was immediately wrong. However, he suggested I call the electric company to see if there was anything wrong with the outside connection to the house- there was. He also suggested if there were any further problems, he could send a crew out to troubleshoot the problem. He was honest in his suggestion and had saved me some money in the process. No work was performed, but I would not hesitate to call on Scott Nelson Electric in the future, for any issues or future work, that may arise. I really appreciate this company.

This was a very positive experience. I called Mr. Nelson late on a Friday and he was prompt returning my call, which that late on a Friday I didn't even expect at all. I described to him the work needed to be done, and I appreciated verbal estimates as to the costs. His crew came out as scheduled, and they were most pleasant to have in our home. Ben, the lead technician, was courteous and very clear in describing the work he and his co-worker would complete. Knowing the job would entail some cutting into our ceiling, they took great care laying down drop cloths to ensure no mess - always appreciated! I'll call Nelson Electric again for any work that needs to be done. Excellent communication, workmanship and service.

Scott quickly called me back and was able to provide suggestions over the phone on how to fix the problem. His suggestion worked (a GFCI outlet needed to be reset). This saved me the cost of a service call. Very impressed that he would take the time to listen to my problem when he was booked up.

They brought in a big crew to get everything done in 1/2 day which was great. They were very detailed and asked a lot of questions to make sure each installation was where we wanted it. They brought in their own conduits and supplies but we purchased all the fans, switches and other fixtures. In our office they installed a box capable of holding a ceiling fan as we weren't sure what we wanted in the room. While doing the install, they did disturb the insulation in the attic but when we called to let them know of the issue, they were quick to come back and fix it.

They were fantastic! They arrived right on time, introduced themselves at the door, were totally professional, cleaned up after the work and even vacuumed upstairs, did all of the items on my list, showed me how to use the ceiling fan and dimmers, explained everything and did a wonderful job. Their lead man, Ben, was very patient and thorough. When they had a few issues, he managed to work out solutions so everything could be completed at the visit. The owner, Scott Nelson, who'd come out a couple of weeks before to give the work price estimate, even stopped by briefly shortly after the work had started. He's a really nice guy, very pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

The gentlemen that performed the work were prompt, efficient, friendly, and professional. I am extremely pleased not only with the price for the amount of work done (they were at my house for about six hours), but with the quality of the service and the technicians that were in my home. I HIGHLY reccomend them to anyone looking for any kind of electrical work.

Scott actually came out to see what the issues we were having and then followed up by emailing the quote. He was professional, on-time, and very nice. Mike came out to do the service and he was excellent as well. Professional, on-time, personable, and gave us options of what we could do.
