It turns out one of the outlets was cracked in two and the other didn't work because of it. Scott replaced both outlets. He is friendly, professional, skilled. A real expert. I highly recommend him.

One 9/24/17 I had them install outdoor lighting in a 30' x 30' fenced-in dog exercise area. They ran conduit for the wiring and installed the flood-light fixtures I wanted, along with installing 2 more coach lights on the house and outdoor switches to control everything. Scott Nelson was terrific to work with. He was prompt in getting back to my initial query, came out very soon to discuss the project and give me a detailed proposal. We scheduled the project for 2 months later to take advantage of my slow period. Scott is an excellent communicator and answered all my emails and follow-ups promptly. Two of his guys, Ben & Eric, came out to do the work. Scott met with them at my house that morning to be sure they understood the job and to discuss some minor changes I wanted. They showed up when they said they would and everything about the work day proved them to be very professional, skilled, friendly, and easy to work with. They also did a great job cleaning up after the project. -- other than the new lights, you'd never have known they'd set foot on the place. The job they did for me was exceptionally well done. I could not be happier with the completed job and with the entire process of working with them, start to finish. I would highly recommend them to neighbors, friends and family. Added note 7/3/18: Doing business with Scott Nelson Electric has turned out to the the nicest experience I’ve ever had with ANY service company. When they installed permanent outdoor lighting in my gravel yard last September I could not have been happier with how it turned out. I use it every night of the year, several times each night and it makes the area I work in with the dogs safe and well-lit. When I discovered one of the lengths of conduit had a small split in the seam due to a manufacturing defect, I contacted them. The split was letting rain water into the conduit. I so appreciate that they were willing to come out and fix the problem right away, no charge. I am very grateful that they stood behind their work and were so responsive. These days we hear too many complaints about things and when something goes right, no one says a word. Well, things went right today and I am very happy that I chose to go with such a reputable and professional company. Thank you so much! I will do whatever I can to spread the good word.

great!! no problems.we have had scott work at least 12 different electrical projects in our home since 2013 ,we have had NO issues of any KIND!!! he and his crew have ALWAYS been professional and always on time. i will continue to use scott , as of the last 4years of working with him and his crew i have no reason to to look for another electrican.

work done was great but was just surprised at the cost. i had used them before and price was reasonable so this time i assumed would still be reasonable and didn't ask ahead of time which is completely my fault. i felt price was high and will be more thorough in my research next time. lesson learned but no complaint about their work at all.

It went very well. They finished everything in a day. They were completely professional. They didn't make much of a mess at all.

Scott was extremely responsive to our inquiry, emailing us back less than an hour after we sent him our email. He quoted the costs involved and gave us the option of purchasing the replacement units ourselves or having them supply them. Work was scheduled at a time and date that was convenient for us. The installer arrived on time and was neat, thorough and explained what he was doing every step of the way and answered all of our questions asked. Scott has a very professional organization that does an outstanding job at reasonable cost.

Ben and Eric were punctual. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. They also answered my other electric questions very pleasantly. They are courteous and very professional. I will surely use their service in the future.

I can't say enough about Scott Nelson and his company, Scott Nelson Electric. Scott recently did work installing a GFI receptacle near our pier to allow us to safely transmit power to our boat lift. The work was done quickly and well -- but on our first visit to the house, an intermittent short unrelated to Scott's work had caused a loss of power, leaving us unable to operate the lift. I called Scott on a Saturday -- and he was out within 30 minutes to help solve the problem. He's extremely knowledgeable, personable, and has truly outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend him and look forward to using him on other projects.

Fine. Very professional job. I was particularly impressed that Scott Nelson (the boss) came out to check out the job in advance and then visited my home while his employees took care of the work.

Had the electrical panel replaced, but the installation took longer than expected, and the extra costs to locate bad wiring were more than I thought it would be.

Communication throughout was excellent. Scott came over on short notice, assessed the job, and came back with a quote the same day. Once I pulled the trigger, a two man crew arrived to the job on the agreed date and time. JR and Derek walked through the basement with me to ensure they understood the full scope of what I needed, and continued to work with me for the next day and a half to ensure the pipes and boxes were out of the way, so my work on the basement could continue. In all, the work was completed extremely professionally, on time and for a fair price. 100% professional job, would recommend them to anyone.
