It went great! I e-mailed Scott last Wednesday after reviewing the home inspection report for the condo. He called me on Thursday and set up an appointment to give me an estimate for the work that was needed. He met me at the condo Thursday afternoon and gave me a detailed list and estimate. He arranged to do the work on the following Wednesday. He and the crew arrived on time and did all the work in a timely and professional manor. They even swept up afterwards! I am so pleased to find someone who takes pride in what he does. I would recommend Scott to friends and family.

We called on Thursday and Scott was able to come out on Friday. He had a larger job on the schedule but was able to break away after he got things going. Even though it was a rainy day, he left no muddy tracks in the house because he was considerate enough to wear disposable shoe protectors. He knew exactly what he was doing and had the basement illuminated in no time. Very personable, knowledgeable and quick. We had such a positive experienced that we asked Scott to give us an estimate on a larger job we had put off for quite some time for lack knowing of a trustworthy professional. He was batting in our ballpark and we'll now be able to check another project off THE LIST.

They rang bell, introduced self and handed me his card. Went to fuse box quickly diagnosed problem. Had to go buy part not in his truck. Came back quickly and fixed the problem. We have already referred him to others. He was great.

After we moved in to our home last summer, we discovered the wiring was terrible. A previous owner had done some work and it was not done well. Scott and his crew made it all right. I am relieved to know the wiring here is finally safe and functional, and would use Scott again if necessary. Great guys.

Scott did a great job of telling me exactly what he was going to do. They worked fast, made modification for my requests and were very clean. He was very helpful and t trusted his work and advice.

All of the work was done as we had hoped and the lights are exactly what we wanted. Scott and his crew were neat and there was minimal patchwork that needed to be done due to the new lighting plan, all of which Scott repaired and now we just need to paint. The crew was punctual and considerate. We would definitely hire them again.

Scott came out within a couple of days for the estimate and gave me one on the spot, he came in less than a couple of other guys I had come in. Scheduled work and they were on time and clean. Can't really ask for anything more.

I gave Scott a call and he set up a time to come out and meet me a couple days later. On the day of the scheduled visit, Scott was early, but called to let me know that he would be, so it worked out really well for me. Upon arrival Scott assessed the project and identified some possible concerns with the installation and a few things to check with the overall electrical in the house. Nothing ended up being a problem with the wiring and the outlet was installed in about 45 minutes. The job was done well, was clean (including putting booties on in when he came through the house) and extremely professional. I would recommend Scott for any electrical work on your house.

Scott came to give us a free estimate. I hired him the same day and asked for a date as soon as possible to do the work. He proposed a day one week later and we agreed to that date. He gave us an exact written estimate of each item of work to be done and its price. On the work day he and his worker were here early and worked diligently to finish the jobs requested, exactly as proposed. They covered our stairway with a drop cloth and put down drop cloth under all their tool areas and in the bathroom itself to protect our new countertop and vanity. While he was here I was looking at the new Angie's List magazine and there was his name on the Best Contractor 2011 page!

Scott showed up early (a big bonus in my book), assessed the problem, went out to a supply house to get the parts he needed and even picked up some extra bulbs for me (thanks, Scott!). He returned and finished the job in about 10 minutes. Scott is a rare find and I consider him my "go to" electrician. I've sent his name & number to family and friends since finding him via Angie's List and they've all raved about his professionalism.

Today on schedule he showed up with the matertials he needed and completed the hook up. He also tested the system with both generators, which took extra time since it was hard starting the older generator (he and his assistant got their exercise pulling and pulling before the older generator started). The price was what he quoted and he and his assistant put the generators back where I had them (I couldn't help because of recent should surgery). He was friendly and professional. I'd certainly call Scott again for other electrical work I might have in the future.

He came promptly on the day scheduled, was very polite, and did an excellent job re-attaching the electrical box. His final price was the same as his estimate which I thought appropriate for the work needed.

Scott came out the same day that I called to give me a quote. Returned two days later, as promised, with his co-worker and installed two security lights that I had purchased.They did an outstanding job and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. This guy is a rare find. He does great work at a reasonable price. He doesn't quote one price and then try to inflate the price once he's on the job. It's very refreshing to find a company that doesn't try to gouge its customers. His philosophy is to treat his customers fairly and that will lead to future business. How right he is! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. I won't be using anyone else.

Scott and his coworker were on time. Scott 1st listened to the list of work that needed to be completed. Scott and his crew were courteous, clean, very considerate of not disturbing the occupants. They were also very respectful of the house and contents. The work performed was professional and efficient. An outstanding job, I plan to use this company for all future electrical work. I called Scott Nelson Electric and was immediately struck by how welcoming and friendly Scott Nelson is :) He took his time explaining about his business, the services he provides, and approximate cost for various jobs. He gave me a verbal quote to connect my attic fan, and was so nice to tell me about coupons available on Angie's List that I hadn't noticed earlier! We scheduled the work for my day off, and Scott rang my doorbell to the minute on time!! He had his own ladder and supplies, and got right to work after a few introductions. I loved that he worked so efficiently and cleaned up all of his scraps... but more so that he brought down an empty cup and aluminum foil box that previous workers must have left in my attic! Granted it might seem like a little thing, but I've had several professionals in my attic recently for estimates on roofing and electrical work, and he was the only one to be so considerate to do so :) His price was very reasonable, and he did an awesome job! I would definitely recommend his service to others.

See above. He did a variety of work...checked to be sure old wiring was in code/safe, added an outlet, changed an outlet, hooked up attic fan, etc.

Scott arrived on time. He and his associate covered the work space with protective matting. They both wore booties on their shoes as it was raining. They set up the scaffolding, removed the old fixture, and installed the new fixture. They were very professional. I would definitely use him again.
