Mark the service tech was a pro. Kept us informed as they worked thru the projects. Figured out what we needed and installed the new equipment perfectly. Cable installation had some real issues however they were able to work around them and got it installed exactly the way we wanted it.

We called early on Good Friday morning and received a response within 30 minutes. An electrician (Mark) was at our home in approx. 1 hour from our original phone call. Mark located the problem, fixed it, and was careful to clean up any mess that was made.

Mark Pasateri was on time. He explained everything he was doing. I have told other people about the good job Scott nelson electric inc has done and they will be contacting them.

They were here when they said they would be, did the work that was estimated, kept me apprised of anything that needed to be changed, and all in all were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.

Mark did the work. He was friendly and professional. The work was completed in the estimated time. He left the area neat and clean when he was done.

They arrived less than 2 hours after I called, which was wonderful. They took down the ceiling fan to see how the fire started. They found the problem and checked to see that the wires around the fan were still safe. He pulled the wires and capped off the box.He saved pieces from the fan so I could contact the company to tell them their equipment has failed and caused a small fire. He was prompt, polite and explained things very well.

Left message on phone. Woman called back a day or two later saying he was out of town and would call back Monday. This was a couple of weeks ago. Left 2nd message. No return call.

Scott Nelson is beyond compare. He responds personally to phone calls, is very responsive, and does excellent work. He has even been so kind as to refer me to other specialists for other repairs.

He personally came out and quickly and accurately analyzed our electrical issues. From our first contact with Scott to the completion of the project, we were impressed by his promptness, professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to customer service. He and two of his employees worked on our projects. They were all efficient, neat, and very pleasant. After Scott left, we spoke with one of the men for a few minutes longer. That employee couldn?t say enough good things about Scott and genuinely respects him, which was consistent with our impression of Scott as well. From our experience with Scott, we found him to be very kind, generous, and reliable. He wanted to be sure that we were completely satisfied with the work. Scott truly exceeded our expectations?in quality, service, price, everything. We highly, highly recommend him.

Our experience with Scott has been very good. Scott is the best electrician that we have hired by far. He is very professional and patient, and works fast too. Because of his efficiency, his price is very fair compare to other electrical companies. Even though he works fast, the quality of his work is outstanding. I contacted the company and left a message. I was called back very quickly. They were able to come out quickly. I had purchased a new home, and had some items I needed to have replaced or fixed. When several friends tried to replace them for me, they all walked away because the wiring in my house was so goofy (from the 70's). I had a ceiling fan that was non functional, removed, and wires hanging from my ceiling so I needed someone to come out soon (my friend walked away from the job becuase he didnt even know how to put the fan back up once he took it down, the wiring was that bad). They were able to come out in very short notice. A team of two electricians visited, and assessed the situation. They were able to tell me what happened to the fan, why it stopped working, and why the wiring was messed up. When they put the fan back up and reired it, they were able to also fix the 2 switches I had wired incorrectly so that one would turn on the fan and the other the light. They then replaced a light fixture I had in the hall way, and explained the old wiring situation, and replaced it with the new fixture I had purchased. They were in and out within 45 minutes, they cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. Price was very affordable for what I had done. I would recommend them again, and I have already contacted them for more services in my home.

Mike and his assistant arrived at our house exactly when promised and did a great job! They were very courteous and friendly and the installation was very clean and neat. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use their services again as I have other electrical jobs that need to be done.

Scott was great to work with. He was able to accommodate my schedule and didn't want to be paid until he was certain I was satisfied with the work.

We contacted Scott, after a neighbor referred us to him, because we were having trouble installing a new ceiling fan, and we also needed someone to troubleshoot a problem with a fan in the attic. The fan operates on a thermostat and turns on only when it reaches a certain temperature in the attic. We had noticed that it was not turning on anymore at all. Mark came out and determined that the fan has a broken motor which needs to be replaced. We plan to do that in the spring, and he provided us with a reasonable quote for that work. He installed our new ceiling fan quickly and answered a few other electrical-related questions I had. Mark was very professional and friendly, and he is the person who told me about Angie's List, which I have now used to find other service providers. I would definitely call Scott Nelson for future electrical services.

Very professional from the start. Called and made appointment with Scott Nelson. Came out next day and was on time and professional. Gave me suggestions on what I could do. Was on top of his game and knew what he was talking about. Emailed me price next day. Was broken down the way I wanted. Was a fair price. Gave him the go ahead and scheduled work. He and his team showed up on time on day agreed. Professional team. Scott set up things and then let his team do most of work as he popped in and out of the job. Associates Mark and Ben stayed and did a very good job and explained what they were doing. Work came in exactly on original quote. Done well. And he gave a 10% discount for first time Angie's List customers. Would recommend Scott Nelson Electrical for any residential work. He will be doing my future work.

I had lights flickering and some circuits not working. I tested them and everything seemed ok. Mark came and found the problem within minutes. He was professional and knew how to fix the problem. Price was resonable for less than one hour of work.

The crew came in 8;00 in the morning and was done by 4;30 with a new breaker box that has room for expansion.

The technician arrived on time, behaved very professionally but the ceiling fan was still wobbling by the time he completed his ask.

Scott replied immediately to my e-mail and we scheduled the work appointment. The workmen were on time, explained the problem and performed the work quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use Scott again.

The company showed up on time. I had used them before and given them an A. The gentlemen fixed the ceiling light fixture which was faulty and the switch which was faulty. I am glad I called Scott because although an amateur family member might have fixed one, I doubt he knew enough to discover both were faulty. A simple fix but I am so happy to have the light fixed and should have called sooner!

I could not be happier with Scott's work! When he came by to look at the project before giving me a bid, we discussed my concern that no holes be made in the ceiling of the porch (very old bead board). He described in detail how he would get power to the porch light without doing that. (He was the only one of 3 bidders who actually crawled under the front porch to see where the conduit from the post light was going into the porch wall.) He said he apprenticed in Evanston, rewiring many old homes without tearing up their walls. Then, on the day he and his assistant did the work, they did exactly what he had described. They worked carefully and neatly. The few holes he made in the wall and ceiling were small and neatly repaired. I had gotten 2 other bids that were higher than his and one did not even include patching the walls. AND, the 10% discount he gave me for being an Angie member pays for my Angie membership this year! I will be recommending him to all my friends.

My initial call was returned the same day and Scott was able to give me an estimate over the phone. After I purchased the alarms and lighting kits, I called to set the appointment and, again, my call was returned the same day and an appointment was set for the following week. Mark, the electrician who handled the job, was on time to the minute and completed the job in the time that Scott had estimated. The original estimate was $150.00 and the extra $40.00 charge was for a wall switch that turned out to be bad as I thought it might. Mark, without being asked, gave me an Angie's List new customer 10% discount and even took the empty boxes and packaging out of the house when he left. He was very friendly and professional.
