Scott Nelson came out and gave me a quote within 24hrs. He was a very friendly individual and was easy to talk to. He provided me the final quote the next day and was able to do the work within a weeks time. His workers (2) came out at the specified time and introduced themselfs and completed the work in a timely manner. They were friendly as well and cleaned up the area after the job. I would definitely hire them again. A job well done!

When our dishwasher suddenly went dead, I incorrectly assumed it was due to the age of the unit and purchased a new one. When the new one was installed, it would not turn on, but the installers insisted that we were getting power. When a second new unit still would not work, it was obviously time for a professional electrician. I contacted Scott Nelson by email, and I literally had a response within minutes. Based on my description of the issue, Scott gave me an estimate and we scheduled an appointment. Today, Mike and another young man showed up exactly at the scheduled time. Within a matter of minutes, Mike diagnosed the problem as being caused by an open circuit. Before completing the work, Mike took the time to show me what was causing the problem. Since I was working at home, Mike waited patiently while I powered down my laptop before he cut off any of the circuit breakers. He then completed the work very quickly and even powered up the new dishwasher to show that it was now working. Mike and his assistant went about their work so quietly and efficiently that my three large dogs never even barked! I cannot say enough about what a pleasant experience it was to do business with Scott Nelson Electric! From first contact through completion of the job, they were responsive, polite, knowledgeable and professional. The work was completed in under an hour, just as Scott had estimated, and the price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely use their services again, and I've already started my list of other electrical projects for Scott Nelson Electric. Thanks, guys!

Scott had initially come out to provide a free quote as we were in negotiations for our current home b/c the electrical box was fully/questionably populated. He was punctual and courteous when here on that visit and had no issue providing a reasonable quote on a good size residential job (re-wiring entire breaker panel with new larger box) and quickly provided the quote via email. Based on the first positive experience, I brought them back to re-wire some of the circuits in a guest room we were turning into a nursery as well as hang a new chandelier. I also had them pull a new 120v box to mount a smoke detector on the first floor. Scott's crew was punctual, friendly, quick, and clean. They were able to sort out my issue and give me a fair price on the fly. Was very happy with the work and completely trusted his crew in my house. I am already planning on brining them back for additional work. Highly recommend. Highly recommend.

Two of Scott's electricians came promptly at the specified start time and installed 4 convenience outlets around the parameter of my basement. They also set it up so one wall switch initiated all the basement lighting, rather then using independent pull chains. These guy were great, did a nice neat job and I'd certainly have them back for additonal electrical work if needed.

Mike and Michael arrived on time for the job, 8:00 am on one of the coldest days this winter. They removed the old service panel and put in a new 100 amp 30 circuit breaker panel with new circuit breakers. After completing the wiring for the new panel, they went room by room to correctly label each breaker. The men worked well together and were very professional. I would definitely hired Scott Nelson Electric again. Thank you.

Scott took the time to point out what needed to be replaced and didn't push to do the work. One of his employees, Mike, came out on 1/3/2014 to complete some needed wiring rework in the attic and was in and out in about 1 1/2 hours. I was very comfortable with his recommendations and was extremely happy with the outcome. He did a thorough inspection and provided a follow up report within a couple of days. I would certainly recommend Scott Nelson to anyone who might need a quality electrician.

It went great. Scott gave us a very fair estimate. He was very honest about what could be a problem and what might happen. We knew we had to have a new panel installed but we didn't know if we had to have anything re-wired. We lucked out that we only had to have the panel replaced. Took about 4 hours and Scott Nelson stopped buy during that time to make sure everything was going well. We were able to schedule an appointment within a week of our estimate appointment (other companies were telling us 4-6 weeks.) Very pleased!

We previously used Scott Nelson Electric to add an outlet in one of our bedrooms. We were so satisfied with their service that we did not hesistate to contact them again when we needed help. We had lost power on our second floor and resetting the circuit breaker was not doing anything. We called Scott and within an hour he and his co-worker Michael was at our doorstep. The two of them worked great together. They were genuinely concerned and immediately started troubleshooting, opening several outlets and light fixtures. Once the issue was identified they took the time to explain to us what needed to be done. Despite being a late friday evening, not once did they complain or rushed through the work. They took care to do the job right. They added the circuit that same evening. We have an older home and finding a skillful electrician that understands the workings of older homes can be challenging. I highly recommend Scott Nelson Electric for anyone looking for honest, reliable and fairly priced electrical services. I know I will use them again in a heartbeat.

Scott was very responsive to my Emails and phone calls. He was happy to take on a smaller job like mine and did it with great efficiency. He's definitely proud of what he does. All 3 of them arrived, on time, on the day promised. They went right to work and began to efficiently take care of all my requests. Scott, Angel and Ben were more than happy to explain to me what they were doing and kept their work areas clean and organized as they worked. This might seem like an odd statement, but they brought everything they needed with them (tools and materials). Too many times in the past, I've had service people out to my house without all the proper tools or materials. They then either have to borrow what I have or run out to the shop to get whatever they needed. Very annoying. But not Scott. He had everything with him, so the job was done correctly and in a good amount of time, without delay. At 8:30 that night, I called Scott to ask a question about the work they had done earlier in the day. Within 30 minutes, he called back and was happy to answer any questions I had. If you are considering electrical work for your house, this is the electrician you want. Thanks a lot Scott! I'm sure you'll be hearing from me again!.

I had an electric heater that kept tripping. I was able to setup a timely appointment to have it checked out and they confirmed what was suspected -- the breaker box needing to be replaced. The crew that was out to do the work was timely, professional, and did a great job.

They were very responsive and were on time. Identified the problem quickly and were very accommodating. Two people were on the appointment, and thus one took care of some other small issues while the other addressed the primary issue with our transformer. They scheduled a prompt follow-up to install the new transformer. Well done overall.

This was the second time in the last two months that we used Scott Nelson Electric and we could not be happier. His team is knowledgeable, polite and just all around nice guys. They even picked up a replacement fixture for us. We look forward to working with them again.

Mark and Angel examined the problem and dicided to check all the outlets in the kitchen. One outlet was not wired correctly for the disposal so they replaced the outlet. After further examination, they found a loose wire in the electrical box in the basement. Fixing that wire was the solution for our kitchen problem.

Every thing went great. No problems. Scott stopped in on first day to introduce workers and review scope of job. Loved the 2 young electricians. They were just plain nice and very knowledgable about their job. Will have Scot and his company do any future electrical work for us and highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality electrical work done quickly and professionally. Came on time and did a great job. Then, nearly a year later, when we had questions about the fan's functioning, came right back (the day we called), and checked it out thoroughly. There was nothing wrong with it, but he wasn't at all put out. Explained everything to us at length, and urged us to call him any time we had questions.

Needed an attic fan replaced. Scott Nelson returned my call immediately. We discussed the work needed to be done & set up appointment for the following week. Mark & Ben arrived on time. They were professional, courteous & clean up was done beautifully. I highly recommend & will call again for additional electrical work.

Scott returned my original phone call within 30 minutes and we set up a time for an estimate. He was here on time for the appointment. He understood all our requests and offered suggestions as to how to best fix the problems. He sent his estimate via email within 24 hours. His estimate was considerably lower than another estimate we had received. The work crew arrived on time with Scott and he went over all the items we wanted done with both us and the crew before any work began. After Scott left, the two men got to work quickly and worked without a break until the job was completed. Both were very polite and professional. The only problem for them was the under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen. They figured out the problem but did not have the parts needed. They said they would order them and get back with us when the parts came in. Scott Nelson called at noon the next day to say he had found the parts and they were free at 3 pm that afternoon to put them in, if we were available. They came out that afternoon and were here right on time. They installed the parts and everything they worked on has been working just fine. When they made the return trip for the under cabinet lights, they were only here about 10 minutes but the service charge was for a full hour. It would have been nice if for that short of an appt. they could have charged for only 30 minutes. I will definitely use them again for other electrical projects.

Scott Nelson returned my call very promptly and we agreed on the time for the work to be done. Mark and Ben arrived right at the scheduled time and within an hour had the existing fan taken down and the new ceiling fan installed. We are very impressed with their professionalism. They are really good and efficient.
