Scott did a great job of explaining what was good and what was bad in my new house. He gave me peace of mind, which is exactly what I wanted. He also gave me a quote for some work I plan to do in the future.

They were on time, professional, and very friendly. I have used Scott Nelson Electric before and I will continue to use them for any future electrical needs. I highly recommend them to all of my family and friends.

These guys were great (Mike Rosendahl's crew). On time, personable and knew a way to install the new switch next to an existing switch instead of installing a new line and switch in another location. They could have easily inflated the cost but resolved my electric issues quickly. Will always call this company when I need work.

Mike and his assistant Jose came out when they said they would. Didn't take them long to confirm my diagnosis, that two low voltage transformers, originally under-specified when installed 11 years ago had failed. They didn't have the appropriate parts on the truck, and needed to drive to a stocking distributor in Highland Park to get them. Upon their return, they neatly installed the new parts, inspected the similar transformers elsewhere in the kitchen and found them working, cleaned up and departed. The bill was fair, the work was well and neatly done, and Mike and Jose were punctual, polite, and tidy. I definitely will use Scott Nelson Electric again should my home have electrical issues.

I've used Scott Nelson Electric in the past and I will continue to use them in the future. Mike and his crew did a great job and everything went well as usual. They cleaned up after the job is finished and the quality of their work is exceptional. They arrived at exactly the scheduled time and everyone is very friendly.

Scott, the owner, showed up just before scheduled time and fixed our problem without a follow-up service call. He listened to the issue and realized the problem right away... We appreciated his punctuality and amazing customer service! We would recommend his services without hesitation.

We intermittently lost power in part of the house for a few days. Scott sent Mike to my house within a couple of hours of my call. It turns out that 1 phase of power was out because of a short outside in the electrical meter box. New parts were needed and they went out of there way to get it fixed that day because it was an electrical hazard. Scott showed up a little later and the two of them had the meter box and breaker completely replaced with in 3 hours of arrival. I would highly recommend Scott for electrical work. Professional, friendly and fairly priced.

It went great. We moved into a new house with cable in all rooms except our teenage daughter. Cable guy said it would have to wired from outside. The 2 gentlemen that came, investigated and were able to find a connection inside the house. They were pleasant, fast and clean.

Scott was very nice and courteous. His description of the work that needed to be done was consistent with other contractors that gave an estimate. We ended up going with a family member's friend who gave the best price, but we would have used Scott if not for that.

They were terrific - came on last minute's notice, charged a reasonable price, answered all my questions and were extremely friendly and efficient. I even asked them to do some extra work like installing a new light fixture and they were happy to help and explain what we had done incorrectly the first time. We are already scheduling an appt with them to use them again and they have even given us tips over the phone. Would highly recommend.

THE BEST! We've owned 6 homes over 26 years, and these are the best electricians I've ever used. On time, perfect installations, pleasant and neat.

Purchase Electrical inspection from a 'deal' on Angie's list. Called Scott to setup inspection. He performed the inspection and provided a report plus an estimate for items to be fixed. I had asked for an estimate to fix any issues before he began but I believe he provides this as part of electrical inspection service.

They were excellent I highly recommend him.

Scott was very easy to work with. I reached out to him and he was able to schedule my work for 2 days later. His quote was one of the lower ones I received and because I had a friend who worked with him before, I decided to go with him. The day of the work, his crew actually came early and were very professional to work with. Scott stopped by a couple of times to check on the progress and make sure his team was meeting not just my expectations but his expectations as well. His team was diligent to the detail and did a great job. They made sure to clean up after the project was complete and even installed a new closet light where they thought was faulty. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and would definitely hire them again. Scott is great to work with, especially because his name in on the line and he expects his crew to represent his name properly.

Outstanding in all aspects of work that they did. The employees were very knowledgeable and courteous. They did the jobs safely, professionally, and correctly. We will use them again when we need electrical work done. We recommend them to anyone that needs electrical work completed.

So impressed from the first response to my call to coming out for a quote to the work itself was all exceptional. Scott called me back right away and scheduled an appointment within two days for a quote. He was on time professional and answered all questions, he also explained what we could expect ie no power, and length of job etc. he explained the information regarding expanding the panel for us to make an informed decision. When the work was done the employees too were on time, friendly, helpful and efficient. We will use Scott in the future for any electrical needs.

Mike and Miguel showed up promptly for the appointment and it took them no time at all to ascertain the issue and quickly remedy the problem. Both guys were personable and professional - and not afraid of my curious, barking dogs. Although my lighting problem was incredibly small, I will not hesitate to call Scott Nelson Electric again should I be in need of an electrician's services.

Scott came out, showed me choices for under counter lighting for my kitchen. Suggested adding a couple pendants and talked about replacing a ceiling fan in bedroom. It was a complicated process to get all the under counter lighting in and wired and they did an AMAZING job. The crew was so nice, everything was cleaned up that you could barely tell any work was done. The pendants I bought required a bit more work so the crew came back a few days later to finish those. Ceiling fan was done initial day. The crew was also GREAT at making suggestions about wiring, etc. I would hire them again any time and will highly recommend them to friends and family. I was recommended to them by a satisfied friend and think we should pass it on!

Scott came out to give us an estimate on a laundry list of items that we were thinking about. Upon receipt of the estimate, we were able to schedule a time to perform some of the jobs the following week. Scott & an assistant arrived on time and did a great job with all of the installation. We were worried about how many area of our drywall would need to be cut out in order to run the wires across the ceiling, but Scott assured us that he would keep it to a minimum and would then patch any holes that they needed to make. Communication was great throughout the whole process and they cleaned up after themself. Scott did a great job and the lighting looks fantastic. We plan to have Scott come on out at a later date to finish up the other items on our list.

It was an Angie's Big Deal, to have the electricity checked. He arrived promply and looked at all our outlets even in the garage, and recommended what should be upgraded. He will send an estimate and then I will know about cost.

My experience with Scott Nelson Electric Inc. went okay. The owner himself came out and he was punctual and polite. He answered questions and didn't treat me like an idiot for not knowing everything there is to know about electricity. I thought the pricing was good for the service. His responsiveness was very good. There were no problems there. He was on time, when he said he'd be there.
