Precision Door Service

The garage door was already installed when we purchased our home. We took advantage of the big deal because the door had begun hesitating in opening and closing. The technician arrived promptly at the appointment time and assessed the garage door and opener. He explained the parts of the door and opener and how they function, outlined the strengths and weaknesses of our existing equipment and then explained what we should watch for going forward. He then replaced the rollers and fine tuned the opener to ensure smoother opening and closing.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. They came out to do the work within a week or two after I purchased the deal. I had additional charges of about $200 above the Big Deal price. The service was fine.

Hud was very knowledgable and able to fix my lasers and wiring within an hour. Definitely will call next time.

It went fine. We had to reschedule original appointment and they accommodated that request as well.

The company was QUICK with correspondence and super easy to work with setting up the appointment. They were very professional throughout my whole experience and comfortable to talk to. Everything I expected happened. I was called 30 minutes prior to arrival and met with a warm greeting. Work was completed, suggestions given, my questions answered and left with a super positive feeling about the company and the work performed. I would definately recommend the company to anyone looking for quotes.

The replacement of the rollers went fine. Dave brought to my attention that a door cable was rusted at the end. He offered to replace both cables for $85.00. I was glad that I did not have to undertake the repairs. Time spent for both repairs was about 1 hour.

Husband disappointed that the technician didn't adjust the garage door opener to prevent the door from "chattering" when opening it.

Greg came later in the afternoon on Saturday but I was glad to see him! ! I had made the appointment on Friday and I was able to make the appointment for the next day.. He contacted me regarding when he would come during the service time and he let me know the approximate time that he would be there which I appreciated. He replaced the rollers on the garage door and he sprayed the springs and rollers with silicone spray which helps to maintain the life of the garage door. He was instructional in regards to usual maintenance which is needed to increase the life of the garage door. I was happy with the work done by the company and they were really professional. Great job!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was a great service. I did add some services so I paid $500. They were excellent.

As the garage door was inoperable, I needed this fixed to be able to get the car out. Getting it done quickly was important, but also for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, this company is not able to provide estimates. I had called 3 other companies at this point, and with a series of questions about the door - make, type, quality, they all had been able to provide a quote. This company actually asked me the same questions, but just so they knew what to bring. When I pressed again for an estimate, I was told it was at least $65 for the labor - couldn't even get a range of prices to expect for this job. Disappointed in the response, as the one good thing was that they were available that day to do the service. Chose to go with another provider.

Great service. I got a confirmation email with pictures of the service techs on staff. The technician who came out was very knowledgable and the service was quick.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the condition and age of my door. The technician that came out was very professional, polite and on time for the service. He was apologetic, due to the fact he would not be able to do the repair or tune up. I would recommend.

Technician was fine, but inability of company to quote same price for additional services made me less than confident in trusting them.

Service and response was excellent. Not inexpensive,but, quality work. Purchased door maintenance special through Angies and had a opener that needed repaired. Tech responded same day as called. Did the door maintenance and evaluated the door opener. The drive gear mechanism was stripped, Tech replaced and door opened and closed well. I purchased an extra remote opener and when we tested the signal was not being received. Tech determined that circuit board was defective. He returned early the next day and replaced the board and we had good operation. Appreciated the reesponse time and Tech's explaining all repairs. Would surely recommend Precision and use again.

They did a great job, was very friendly, responsive, knowledgable and I would highly recommend them.

When we came home from Canada,late on 8/8/2013,we got our luggage in the garage. When we went to close the garage door,it came down on an angle. We tried opening & closing the door again.Same thing,came down slanted,leaving a large triangular hole on one side. I immediately remembered the Big Deal on Angie's List. We locked the door between the house & garage,turned on the alarm & went to bed. Early in the am,I looked up the Big Deal from AL,found their phone number, called Precision Door Services & stated what had happened. They took all my information,told me to buy the Big Deal & email them the code & order number. They did everything to insure me that they would fix my garage door. They were so professional & nice,showing up on time,doing professional work & fixing the garage door,inspecting to see that we would not have more problems in the near future.I loved the fact that they could show you what your techician would look like in the email.

The technician was prompt and informative. I appreciated his explanation of the parts and how they work. Overall, it was a positive experience, but I did not like some aspects of his visit. He talked very negatively about my current door and equipment and bashed other competitors in the marketplace. He came off as a very pushy salesperson that wanted me to replace my equipment right away. My equipment should last at least another year. I might still use this company when I replace my equipment as the service was good overall.

Called when he was running late. Returned on. Monday with the parts he needed to finish the job. Called to let me know when he would be here. Did the job efficiently and gave me instructions for maintaining smooth operation of door.

Customer service center handling appointments was very professional, easy to schedule too. I liked that with my email confirmation of my appointment, that they asked I review the address contained for accuracy, as well as provided pictures of the service persons employed that could be providing services. Scott was early, efficient, friendly, knowledgable and informative. He explained what he did, why he did it, and helped us understand the condition of our door and accompanying working parts. We'd use them again.

Not knowledgable about certain components and estimate for services was not reasonable.

Everything went fine. Received maintenance tips. The replacement of the rubber gasket was different that what I expected.

The following went very well. Mr. Cantu arrived promptly and professionally. He greeted me warmly. He asked about my concerns. He did a thorough investigation and pointed out the weaknesses of the garage door. He informed me in details what the $99.00 tune-up included. In addition after looking over the garage door and pinpointing it weaknesses, he suggested some remedies and informed me of a special that the company was running. I acknowledged the weaknesses and took advantage of the offer. He went to work precisely, professionally, and in a timely fashion. He gave me a thorough walk through of the work that was done. He cleaned up the area. He went over the details of the cost and asked me if I had any questions. He tested the garage door usage several times. He was quiet helpful regarding other garage concerns and questions that I had.
