Precision Door Service

the work went ok and was performed ok and quickly. It appears the rollers needed replacement but I am a novice at house repairs so what do I know. however I didn't like filling out a rating with technician "standing over " me. Also turned me off when he asked if he was safe in our neighborhood (south logan square) comparing it to Englewood.

Efficient, on time, and knew his job. would definitely use again.

We called Precision and they came out within 3 hours. Our technician Dan Reinert did a great job and we were very satisfied with the service. Dan showed everything he did to correct the problem. We would defitintely call Precision Garage Door Service again without hesitation.

Service man was on time and explained to me that it was a good thing that I called, because some of my rollers were beginning to bend. Did a good job with lubricating the springs. He was professional.

One of the springs broke and I had them come out and fix it. They charged me about $500. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Provided the service the same day we called to make an appointment. After giving us a window for his arrival, he called with a specific time and arrived on time. The invoice provided a detailed description of the services he provided and any problems that were found. The garage door runs much more smoothly softly than it did prior to the service.

Their tech showed-up on time and he started to work immediately! 25 minutes later he was all done and then proceeded to review with me everything that he had worked on. He then ran the Door twice and I could not believe how quiet it was. A Terrific Job! I was extremely pleased.

We have a very heavy duty great quality set of old wooden garage doors. They do not make them like this anymore. The garage door system is 23+ years old. We had issues with a couple of the rollers having fallen off one of the three doors. The door was then slightly misaligned and not readily closing. After many years of door use, it was definitely time to have a professional look at the system. The young garage repairman came right on time. He took one look at the maturity of the garage door system, mechanics and equipment and stated their company could not fix them. He promised an estimate, that arrived expeditiously by email within a couple hours. In the interval my husband and 19 yo son went about applying their mechanical resourcefulness and fixed the doors within 45 minutes! It is analogous to ski shops not working on skis with older ski bindings... Probably liability concerns meets lack of familiarity. So the moral of the story is: This is not the service to use if you have garage doors that you want to keep.

The technician called ahead before showing up at my door (which I requested). He was polite and briefly explained what he was going to do and did I have any questions. I think the whole appointment took about 30-45 min. After the technician finished I went over the list, of work that was included in the purchase, with him to verify everything was done....and it was. The garage door runs much smoother and is a lot quieter now.

Purchased this on Angies Big Deal. The tech was very courteous and knowledgeable. He reprogrammed our other door opener that I thought was broken. Answered all the questions that I had. In short I'm very pleased with the service and the garage door is a lot quieter. Would definitely use this provider again!

The work was finished within 1 and 1/2 hours. The service appointment occurred within two days of our work authorization.

I was really pleased that it was an easy fix. And if the door begins to pause again, he showed me how to do the stallidway through, he explained how I could do the adjustment myself (yea!). The new rollers were icing for me. I'm going to need to replace soon and I will definitely be calling Precision Door.

The Tech that came out was on time, considerate, competent, knowledgeable, and had great communication skills. If we were in need of some future repairs on our door.. I would totally use Precision Door again no doubt.
