Rich was very knowledgeable and professional as he cleaned and inspected the chimney in our newly purchased older home. He showed us camera images of the insides and provided advice on how to correct the issues. The following day, he and a co-worker installed a second damper to seal off air leaks. We will hire them in the future to install a new liner and will contact Jiminy Chimney should any other needs arise.

Rich was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, a good communicator, and suggested multiple solutions to the problem. Because I was not having the work performed the same day, there was no charge for the detailed inspection. I will definitely choose his company to perform chimney work in the future.

I am so happy with the service that Jiminy Chimney provided!! When Rich and Joe came out to quote the job, they arrived on time and were very patient with all of my questions. They were very respectful of my home, took off their shoes and cleaned up the mess that came out of my chimney when they opened the door to inspect it. They had a type of camera which they sent up the chimney to see if there was any blockage. One of the other companies that had come out to quote the job used a little mirror and flashlight. When they came out to do the job, again, they were on time, which is greatly appreciated. I also liked the fact that their window was 2 hours. They did the work in the time frame I was given and within the quote that I was given. They exceeded my expectations. I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend Jiminy Chimney. Rich and Joe are an asset to the company.

The servicemen arrived in the middle of the scheduled window of time. They were both wearing identification as employees of Jiminy Chimney. The dryer vent had not been cleaned properly in a very long time. They took pictures of inside the line which was very full of lint. They explained clearly what this was doing to the efficiently of our dryer and longevity of our dryer. They cleaned it out completely, which took a minimal amount of time....15 minutes tops? Then they took an after photo to show me the difference. They were very quick and very courteous. We will definitely use them again the future and will schedule vent cleanings at least once a year, if not more. Especially since the productivity of my dryer has increased immensely. The cost was originally $149, but I received a discounted rate of $129 as an Angie's List member. Also, they took note of an issue with the structure of our chimney, took photos of it and explained the issue to me and offered an estimate.

Unfortunateley I wasn't home when the work was performed but all went well and the price was right!

They fearlessly confronted it and cleared it all out. We have four fireplaces in our house and they advised us that each was in great shape, put new caps on both chimneys and we have enjoyed all four ever since!

Rich was very accommodating in squeezing me into his schedule due to an alarming situation where my hot water heater was exhausting in the basement due to a flue issue. He came out promptly and inspected the flue to ensure there were no blockages and advised how to avoid the poor draft problem.

It went very well, they were very pleasant and finished the job to our satisfaction, even cleaning up after themselves. I am going to be calling them again for cleaning again very soon.

Things went very smoothly and professionally. The technician was on time, wore shoe covers whenever he was inside,laid out a tarp to protect my carpet, quickly swept the chimney and showed my how much debris was removed, performed the HD camera inspection, and also pointed out that the log lighter had been worn down and the fireplace grate was also in need of replacement. After getting me a grrat price to replace the log lighter, he also pointed out what I should look for in a fireplace grate. He was honest about everything. He quickly cleaned up, and left me extra business cards to hand out to friends, as I strongly support this business that treats customers fairly and does excellent work.

They bent over backwards to be helpful, and did a great job. Their cost was very reasonable. I would also say they were very honest.

After the inspection, they provided an assessment and suggestions on the repairs they thought were necessary. They were very thorough and punctual, and did a nice job. We were pleased with their work. They were very professional and polite, and did a great job with their responsiveness and following up.

He was totally awesome and helpful. He did such a great job I recommended him to my neighbor a few doors down on that same day. I will certainly use him again if I need to. I felt the price was reasonable.

The guy was very clean, very helpful, and explained everything he was doing. He walked me through everything he was doing as he was doing it. Afterward, he cleaned up so well after himself, you couldn't even tell he had been there. This really stood out to me, and I really appreciated that since I have kids. He was also right on time, which was important to me. I will probably use them again when I get my chimney inspected before this winter season.

Installation went smoothly and the installer kept me informed of progress. Job was completed within the time estimated. Installers were friendly and courteous.

Rich and another employee showed up on time and immediately went to work on cleaning the upstairs & basement chimneys. They used tarps and kept the entire work area clean. I had told him about some chimney swifts that were living in the chimney over the summer. and they showed me the large nest they had left behind. After the cleaning, he had installed 2 chimney caps, at my request, to prevent further animals nesting in them. I also had them waterproof the chimney and repair any cracks that were found. We had just purchased this house last September and this is the first time we ever had fireplaces in any of our homes so we really did not know what to except with this service call. Rich was very informative and I did not feel he was trying to sell me more then what was needed. We will defiantley be using him again!
