I was having trouble finding someone who could service a subzero refrigerator but Sterling could do it. If anyone is looking for someone that specializes in subzero products, they were terrific. It was a pretty big repair; the entire coil was shot. The wine refrigerator just needed a new sensor. They offered unsolicited advice on how to get the best operation out of the units like what ideal temperatures would be and they gave me tips for what to do in the future.

Great. Neither these folks nor Sub Zero are cheap, but both are top quality. Dave was very friendly, explained what he was doing, was familiar with the unit, and knew all the tricks.

They responded promptly to our call. Scheduled the service. Called the night before to confirm then again when they were on their way. They did the fix. Told us when the warranty was up on the compressor, and suggested we keep an eye on it and have it checked/replaced prior to the warranty expiring. We were thinking we needed a new fridge when all that was needed was a drain heater. Sterling didn't try to sell us on anything else so we were very happy.

They worked very hard to squeeze me in near a holiday weekend. Person who came was very prompt and professional.

I emailed Sterling about the problem and they called promptly the following day. They were upfront about their service charges and that the earliest availability would be the following week. Since it didn't seem like an emergency, we agreed. They called the day before to reconfirm and to give us a window. Our service person was prompt, courteous and professional in his appearance. He reviewed our information, tested the lines and clearly explained the problem, which is now solved by a little heater for the waterline to the ice maker (which was not yet invented at the time our model was made). He had the line heater with him and was able to install it then and there. My husband was on hand the whole time and pleased with the service and the cost.

I think this company is amazing and would not consider using any other to repair my Sub-Zero. They were recommended by several other appliance repair companies. They guarantee their work. They even called the company for me to have the parts replaced under a warranty that had expired 30 days ago.

I have used this company in the past for this range. I continue to be very pleased with the professional and accommodating service. Office scheduling staff is efficient, kept my previous contact information on file, and can schedule someone within a day or two. Office will call the night before to advise where you are on the schedule. If requested, technician will call the day of, 1/2 hour before, so I can meet him at the house, saving valuable time on my schedule! Technicians have always been very knowledgeable and courteous. This service call required replacement of a worn out broiler controller. Technician also pointed out a worn oven door gasket causing residue buildup around the door and lack of oven heat retention. He cautioned that the escaping heat may damage the electronic controls right above the gasket and recommended a parts and repair estimate. Rec'd it within a few days and I authorized purchase. When the part arrives, they will call me to schedule the work.

Contractor came out and diagnosed the problem. Sterling Service then worked with Sub Zero to get most of the work covered through Sub Zero's warranty. Sterling Service called back about two weeks later with a quote and an installation date. Contractor arrived on time, was courteous and clean. I had a great experience with Sterling Service. I hope to not need them again, but if I do, rest assured I'll make one phone call and one phone call only to get my appliance repaired.

The repairman came a lot later than they originally told me he would come. They told me about noon and he arrived at 5:30 PM. They called me ahead of time so that I had time to get home from work. It worked out - I didn't have to take time off. He couldn't repair the freezer because it is an unusual model and the part had to be special ordered. He bypassed the thermostat so at least it would freeze (think rock hard ice cream) in the meantime. He also cleaned out the drain on the refrigerator that was leaking and explained how to maintain it. Sterling ordered the part for me and it came in promptly. Now they are waiting for me to make another appointment to finish the work.

They were great. It is expensive.

Very efficient and thorough all the way down to the person who answered the phone. They got the needed replacement quickly as well. Very neat and professional. He even cleaned under the oven.

Sterling is authorized repair service for many high end appliance brands. I've used them for Sub-Zero and Dacor. I've found Sterling to be professional and easy to work with. I would recommend their services to anyone.

These repair guys (there were 2) were everything you would want. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. We had just moved into this house and inherited a Sub Zero fridge when we discovered water accumulating on a shelf and then dripping out onto the wood floor so we were very concerned. Sterling's guys came to our house about 6:00 pm (we were their last call of the day) and they acted as energetic and enthused as if we were their first call. My husband and I were very pleased with the service and would use them again. Actually, besides getting Sterling's name from Angie's list, they were highly recommended as the only company to use by the Sub Zero people when I called to talk to them about our problem.
