As stated above came out by appointment, on time, very professional and trustworthy. Alerted me to items needing attention not associated with roofing. If I needed roof work I would have gotten a quote and used if competitive.

They have done a great job.

Their pricing was competitive with estimates that we got from other high quality installers. Mike was great to work with, and responsive/flexible to any questions/concerns that came up during the job. He also interceded on our behalf with the above suppliers as necessary. The craftsmanship of Zibby and crew was excellent. The worked hard; they worked fast, and always cleaned up before leaving each night. They were able to adapt on the fly, to the surprizes that cropped up on our remodeling project.

Andy was very responsive in providing a quote for the work. He provided insightful ideas and was very patient. Once we agreed to terms, Andy provided updates as to when the materials would be available and the job would start. The work crews were professional and talented. On bad weather days, Andy contacted us to tell us the crew would not be coming. We changed the position of a window mid job. Andy was understanding even though it inconvenienced the crew. Andy explained he wanted us to be happy with the job. This is my 3rd home and I have dealt with many contractors. I have never been had such a positive experience. The workmanship was outstanding. I am relatively picky when I spend this kind of money. I was not disappointed. The price of the job was lower than other bids without any compromising any quality or service. I don't expect any issues. Should there be is a problem years from now, I am confident that I can call Andy and the matter will be addressed fairly.

They are prompt, reasonable, and very flexible if your plans change. I've used them for at least 5 years. We use them about once or twice a year.

UPDATE - 2015 - I am still finding issues - DO NOT LISTEN TO THEIR RESPONSE! BE CAREFUL! I do not appreciate you lying about what really happened! Shame on you! Initial contact was good. Start was late due to weather. Communication was terrible. ALOT of miscommunication which resulted in my total frustration. This included the selection of colors (I thought I was pretty clear but I was told I was not - gutters and downspouts are not the same color as the siding - do not blend in), blocked my garage door so I could not get in it(indicated they got permission from my teenage son-no overnight on street parking-had to park on my grass), removed existing gutters and downspout but did not install new ones until a week later (had a significant rain storm during the week they were off-I have a basement...), etc. The quality of work was very good but the property was not totally cleaned. I am still finding pieces of cut off siding and nails in my yard and my shrubbery. I read a report on Angie's List and should have read between the lines. Another homeowner indicated miscommunication issues but indicated it was probably his wife. I am a purchasing manager - communication is how I earn my living so I am pretty sure I was clear. FYI-my home is 17 years old and replaced items due to storm damage.

It has been almost two years since my job was completed. I apologies for not writing this sooner. Mike one of the owners was very professional from start to end. The work they did on my house still looks new and I have had no problems. The job was done in a timely manor. When problems came up Mike and Zibby his main foreman on the job would tell me and at the same time they had a solution to fix it. The whole crew where friendly and helpful. Zibby is a true craftsman and you can trust him and his crew to work on your home. The price was very reasonable. I am sure I could have found a better price but I felt this job required quality work and i did not want to take any chances. It was the right choice. If i need any exterior work done Mike will get the call from me.

All appointments were timely, all work was excellent, and materials used were better than expected. The only negative was getting final completion. It could have been partly our fault for poor communication between my wife and me. It's done and beautiful.

We decided to replace all of our windows (Blue Ribbon Millwork... separate report) and the siding on our house. I got quotes from six different companies for the Hardie siding. Four of those companies were Hardie preferred contractors. I would strongly recommend going with a company that is a Hardie preferred contractor. They are aware of all of the procedures necessary to be in compliance with the Hardie warranty. If something is done wrong, it could void your warranty. Mike from Pro-Line was professional and knowledgeable. He presented multiple options and provided references in the area that I could contact. We drove to several locations to view houses with similar color combinations that Pro-Line had done. We were also trying to decide which size of board we wanted to use and seeing them in person helped us make the decision. Pro-Line has a nice showroom where you can view different siding colors in large sections. We also saw a window trim construction/design that we liked and wanted on our house. The other Hardie-preferred quotes were significantly higher ($4,000 or more) for the same options. When asked for bottom-line pricing, the other companies dropped their prices to a similar range as Pro-Line without being told Pro-Line's price. Mike was unable to drop his price because he said Pro-Line doesn't pad their pricing. Based on my personal experience I had to agree that his pricing was very fair. While I felt that two of the other companies would have done excellent work, Pro-Line's price, pricing practices, and my confidence in their previous work (references) tipped the ball in their favor. I am very happy with the decision I made. Once Pro-Line starts work at a site, they will not leave the site to work elsewhere until the job is complete. They have a crew that they have been working with for years and the crew is excellent. There were always 5-6 men working throughout the day. They took a lunch break, but other than that, they were constantly working. More than one of my neighbors commented on the professional work ethic of the crew, and many of my neighbors have commented on how nice the siding now looks. They adapted to the fact that there was already an inch of foam-board insulation around the house and Mike credited me the cost in the final bill. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day. They were friendly and accommodating throughout the work. They showed us how the window and garage trim would look before proceeding to make sure it was what we wanted. When the work was finished, Mike visited us to make sure that everything was satisfactory. Any touch-ups that needed to be done were noted and taken care of promptly. I would definitely recommend Pro-Line Exteriors for their siding work. When it comes time to get a new roof for the house I will certainly use Pro-Line Exteriors to do the job.

We contacted him for an estimate after speaking to them at the Lake County Home Show in Libertyville. He was always very professional in his estimate, suggestions and completion of the project. Everything was finished on time and to our satisfaction using Marvin Windows.

It took them a while to get started. Once they started, they were here everyday until it was completed.

They were highly professional. They were good people to work with. The management was good. They did excellent work, and they provided excellent customer service.

The chimney was seeping water from outside and it had seeped inside. So, they put new flashing on the outside and sealed the brick, in order to stop the leak. We haven?t had any leak since. They arrived on time. They were very responsive. They were very pleasant and helpful. They were professional. Their price was right and they completed the work in 3-4 hours. The guy from Proline Exteriors poured sealant on it and left the remainder in the container. He told us that we should do it every year. We?d definitely call them back in case of any problems. The chimney looks fine from the outside.

These guys do great work: fast + high quality. They made minor alterations per my request with no complaints. The quality of the caulking was exceptional. Cleaned up at end of every day. Very polite. Work went faster and with alot fewer problems than I expected. They exceeded expectations.

Overall we are thrilled with every aspect of the job that Pro-Line did. We feel so lucky to have found them. We can?t imagine any company doing a better job for any amount of money. We could not have been more pleased with the results. The workmanship is top quality. We had virtually no ?do-overs? because things were done right the first time. They were punctual and all the workers were courteous and very pleasant. The cleanup was wonderful too and there was a lot of it! They crew was never pulled off our job for another one. There was a core group of 4 that was with us the entire 13 ? weeks. That was a wonderful feeling. If the crew felt they needed to stay to finish one area, they did. One night they were still at work after 9 PM with work lights on. The crew?s work ethic was like nothing we had seen before. They worked long and hard every day. There was no idle time on the cell phone or off in a corner chatting. They just worked solidly all the time they were at our complex. Flexibility: If we wanted to change our original specs, like adding a trim piece, it was never too much trouble. Some of our residents had scheduling problems but the crew worked around them. Quality: I have to say the crew confronted some of the worst rot I can imagine. We had at least one wild animal under a porch, we had a carpenter ants nest on the 2nd story in one area, we had wood rot where the wood had just become dust and through it all the men, and especially the crew boss, Zibby, treated the damage like surgeons, cutting out the bad areas and patching us up BETTER than new. They corrected some poor building practices from the 1970?s and some dangerous situations like water and electric lines too close together. We were too ignorant to even ask for these things but Zibby spotted them, asked permission and fixed them. They did this all with good humor and without complaint. Their costs were highly competitive and reasonable. Every time new, unanticipated rot was discovered, they would show us, tell us what had to be done, tell us if any special materials were needed, get our approval and forge ahead. We have 3 chronic complainers out of the 17 adults in our complex and even they are happy!

Excellent in every way!! I had an extremely positive experience. We have a Tudor style house and this company worked so hard to get our house just right. They took pride in their work, they were clean, prompt, and it is quality work. They sought out my approval daily. They have a beautiful showroom where I could see and feel the materials we were going to choose. I still, two years later, drive by my house and smile to myself at how beautiful it looks. My grown sons even had input into the house remodel, as one is an architect.
