The job was done to perfection! They took their time to make sure everything was meticulous done. Andy was on-site every day making sure things were done properly. He answered all my phone calls and my questions within a few hours. Before we had gutters our basement would flood, it has not flooded once since those bad boys have been added. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for new siding. The James Hardy siding is so beautiful and people always comment on what a good job they did.

After multiple interviews with other vendors met with Andy from Pro-Line Exteriors. Andy and his team installed all new windows and doors in the house, provided new siding and gutters on the house and garage. Excellent, professional work at a respectable price. Andy provides his cell phone number on his web-site. He was always available. His crew was always on time, professional and knew the job. His crew cleaned up daily after themselves. Once work started at the site they were there until completed, he did not start another job while working with us. He did everything he said he would with no exception. They had several projects done in our house which include gutter, multiple windows. They kept their promises and on time. The price is reasonable as I compared it with several contractors. They will not take any short cuts or anything does not comply with codes. Highly recommend it.

They did not find where the leaks are coming from, had to have another roofer find the leaks. Company took my money and didn't provide me anything.

Roofing looks great, gutters working well, some issues with downspout locations and direction that have been fixed finally, deck refinishing after hail damage looks awful. Paint is already peeling and chipping, will need to be redone when weather improves

Pro-Line Exteriors was highly recommended by a neighbor who was extremely satisfied with their work on an extensive exterior remodel. We dealt directly with the business owner, Andy Szpernal, who was professional, prompt, courteous and patient from start to finish. He was always quickly responsive to any call or any concern from estimate to finish. He was at the job site either every day or almost every day, and made repeated contact with us to see how things were going, and to provide ideas or suggestions. I have never met a more responsive contractor - and almost every homeowner knows how hard that is to find, even among the good ones. We chose Pro-Line for two reasons: the recommendation by a trusted neighbor, and the gut feeling we got from the owner. He was not the lowest bid of the 3 we received, and we liked all 3 contractors who bid on the job. In fact, I think he was the highest by several hundred, or up to $2000. But he seemed the most trustworthy and responsive, and is a local Lake Zurich business. You can tell how he runs the business by visiting his showroom, seeing how he treats his crews, and how available he is for consultation. Except for the horrendous weather which delayed everything, the project went very well. The workers were respectful overall, and did a nice job all along the way. We had only a few minor problems, some which are to be expected. Some of the foundation plantings got trampled a little more than I would like, but almost everything came back fine. Three screens got damaged but Andy had those promptly fixed. Expect to have your garage filled with tools and supplies but that just goes with the territory. None of this was any real issue or annoyance, expect some of it to happen when you have a full exterior done. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any exterior work that they do. The quality is top notch, the business is run as well or likely better than any contracting business I have dealt with. The price seemed fair, and the results transformed our vinyl sided home into a beautiful one with natural stone front, and Hardie board siding. We have received multiple compliments from neighbors and many strangers on the results. Thank you Andy, and thank you Pro-Line! My only regret is that I took so long in doing this review on Angie's List, it is long overdue. I only wish every contractor treated his business and his customers as well as what we experienced with Pro-Line.

Very difficult to coordinate with Andy. Leaves you hanging and no commitment to complete work. Spare yourself the aggravation and deal with a contractor whom provides the services they advertise.

They gave estimate that was VERY HIGH, I have seen their work on neighbors house, it looked OK, except a year later I saw pealing paint, poor quality pant I believe. I had them come out for estimate and they were professional, but over priced!

I could tell Pro-Line was going to be the company to go with, right off the bat. Andy was very accommodating and had plenty of suggestions, in terms of possibilities. His quoted estimate was a bit under the other bids and we ended up with a great end-product. The crew was always prompt and professional, although communication could have been a bit better, in terms of what was agreed upon, between the customer and Pro-Line. I won't go into details, because it wasn't anything very significant- however, it doesn't hurt to put things clearly, in writing, so everybody is on the same page. We hit a couple of snags along the way, because of some unexpected rotted wood and carpenter ant nests and with some prompting, was removed and new boards were installed. Aside from that, the crew did a great job- despite the heat, rain and my constant barrage of questions, during construction. Joe led a great crew, to say the least. The crew worked with great synergy and efficiency and made the entire project very smooth. I don't mean anything negative or directed at Pro-Line, by saying this, but if you're present, during construction, it might be best to watch to see if everything is to your specifications. I say this, because you, as the customer, might have one thing imagined in your mind, but the crew may have something similar, but not identical to what you had in mind. If this is the case, it doesn't hurt to ask before they start. This is where their professionalism came into action. Andy, Joe and crew were very good at explaining what was to be done and approximately how it was going to be accomplished- not an easy task, for such a huge project. If something didn't seem right to me, it was corrected immediately and without question. All in all, I am very pleased with the end result, as the house looks brand-new (siding and windows) and water management around the house (i.e., the gutters) is quite impressive. Well done, Pro-Line! P.S.: Please don't be led to believe that this is a bogus review- I'm simply very uncomfortable entering my address into this review, for whoever to see. These guys are the best! Andy and his crew are professional and do excellent work. The references I got were local and excellent. I initially hired them to do the siding, but decided to have them do the roof at the same time. They weren't the cheapest bid for either job, but looking at the others showed me how much better their work was. For a job this big and this critical to the value of my house, I want the job done right, not cheap. Other folks I talked to showed me jobs that were either far away from me and/or showed inferior workmanship. I never checked out references for the folks that were way more expensive than these folks, because there was no point. We had one problem that was the fault of a supplier. The first batch of siding was the wrong color. When they found the problem, both the supplier and Andy apologized, and said they would make everything right. They worked extra hours to make up for the time lost. I believe the supplier paid for the extra material and labor, but either way, it was transparent to me. They kept the job site cleaned up every night during the project. I highly recommend them.

I worked with Mike on this project. The guys finished the job in one day. Windows look great. Shutters were done last; it was getting dark. The next day I noticed that the shutters seemed to be the wrong size. I have been waiting for the last 6 months for the shutters to be replaced with no resolution so far. UPDATE: 5/14/2013 - Guys showed up to replace shutters. It looks great!

When I contacted Andy at ProLine Exteriors, he was able to schedule and come out quickly to inspect the chimney. I had to leave work to meet him at my house, so I appreciated that he was right on time for our appointment. While he was up on the roof inspecting the chimney, he also did a walkaround to look for any other potential problem areas. (I appreciated the inspection since my roof is too high/steep for me to access easily to do it myself.) Once the scope of necessary repair work was identified, he measured the chimney for a new cap, and got me a quote to fabricate and install a new one. The cost was very reasonable. As soon as the new sheet metal cap was fabricated, he called to schedule a time to install. The new cap was so much better made than the original (it was hard for me to believe I was living with this condition for so long!)

The company didn't contact me after they did the inspection so I contacted them. I was told that they caulked a few areas and otherwise the roof was in good shape. The work, and feedback that they provided, was so minimal that my assessment of their work is marginal. But I may use them again in the future.

They came and I had forgotten the appointment time so they did the inspection anyway and later called with their report.

I purchased the service for my brother's house. They instead showed up at my house when I was not home and inspected my roof. A call to Proline and Angie's list straightened this out. We rescheduled for another time and they inspected the roof of my brother's house. It appears they way the gutters and downspouts run, they gutter from the top level of the house runs to a downspout on the lower level of the home. This downspout is up against the house and empties into the lower level gutter immediately adjacent to the house's aluminum siding. Their theory is that too much water is coming down this downspout too close to the house and the lower level gutter can not keep up with all the water. It then begins to egress into the house. Changing the exit location of the downspout will hopefully eliminate the problem.

arrived on time, spoke with me for a few minutes regarding my concerns about the roof, which is about 4 years old, but chimney flashing is coming up. he repaired the flashing and reported that the chimney is in need of repair, and should be fixed before winter. he applied some caulk as a temporary measure. he gave an estimate for the siding, and there was no more charge other than the angie's list deal price.

From the beginning Proline was fantastic to work with... from the estimate to the last day of the job we were extremely pleased with the quality of the materials, our finished product, and their professionalism/responsiveness. The timing for completion of the roof (etc) was very important to us because we had other work we needed to coordinate. As promised, Proline got the job done on time with no delays. Overall, super experience!

I bought a coupon for roof inspection and I first called them and explained I had a roof leak. They said to buy the coupon. They came out and cannot find the leak, he only looked at the roof. Their first visit they didn't even look in the attic or perform a leak test. I had to call them back again to look into the leak more. I shouldn't have had to tell them if they were good roofers.

Contacted Proline through Angies list via a coupon for a roof and siding maintenance package. They performed the work. i had to follow up with them to get the report out, but when we agreed to additional repairs the were completed very well.
