Another company wanted to replace the whole roof, so I looked for a second opinion and was recommended to Cedar Roofing Company. Keith McNaught arrived exactly on time. He was an obvious professional. After accessing the home inside and out, he made a diagnosis to repair the leak - not replease the roof. He explained the repair in detail and provided me with a written estimate via email. On the day of the repair, his crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. They even replaced other shingles without any additional cost. I am very satisfied with their work and will contact them without hesitation in the future.

They were prompt, they were courteous, and they did the job well.

I had a great contractor who made sure work was done in a timely fashion - he supervised their work. But now that I have asked Cedar Roofing to check my slate roof in the spring and clean gutters (without the contractor to oversee) they have been VERY DELINQUENT. There was phone correspondence in May and a contract signed on June 15th. I also followed up with a phone call two months later - they apologized and assured me someone would come and perform the contracted services. Here it is mid October and no show!! So I have joined Angie's List to find another roofer and here Cedar Roofing is with an A rating(??). Where does one go to get reliable roofing maintenance?

Our Estimator was Kieth MacNaught. He came out twice and disccused all our options. They were not the least expensive but you get what you pay for. They had to postpone our job twice due to rain but that was understandable and explained in the quote that it could happen. I was in the hospital when the work was done so I had a independent contractor I know inspect their work while in progress and he assured me it was a top notch profesional job. Clean up was very good, I only found one or two nails and a couple of pieces of shingles less than 2 inches in size in the yard.

They were wonderful and did a great job. The quality of their work was high. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

Highly professional, the estimator showed up promptly, explained solutions to our problem and brought some other items to our attention. Keith was very knowledgable. Work was done efficiently and the crew was very polite. A real pleasure. Just had one minor problem-the crew showed up and I had not received a call saying they would be there. Luckily we were home. I called to let them know about it and Keith apologized profusely, it seems he had forgotten to call me. I had just wanted them to know, in case this might happen to someone else-it was nice for someone to own the mistake, versus blaming on someone else.

It was done two weeks ago. I have no complaints in terms of their timeliness and their responsiveness. I thought it was great. Time will tell as to whether or not the problem we had has been solved. I think it has.

They had a terrible service! The shingles started falling off of my house and this company would not return my phone calls about it. I finally got someone to come out and all they did was replace six shingles that were pretty much just hanging off the side of the roof. They said that the shingles disintegrated the nails that they used, but they refused to replace all of the shingles! There is basically nothing holding the shingles on and I am very disappointed that this company completely refuses to redo the job correctly!

I called CRC to arrange for an estimate. Keith came at 8:30 in the morning as arranged. He told us that our roof had not been properly coated when it was done 10 years ago, which made the black surface very hot and also made it wear out sooner, and that our skylights had also been improperly installed. (This was confirmed by another company.) The skylights were not a standard size, but he said that they could use a standard Velux size and build out the curb to adjust for the difference. We also asked him to give us a quote on fixing a gutter on a different part of the house that was not pitched properly and some loose siding. He said that he would email the bid. When we had not heard from him after a few days, I emailed him. He sent the bid for the roof and skylights with his reply saying that he had sent it but must have mistyped my email address. He said he was still checking on details in order to bid the gutter and siding repair. We did not hear back from him.

They're very thorough in their work and are very craftsmen like with installation. My gutters are very clean free flowing and I'd recommend them to others.

BRAD HALL DID AN EXCELLENT JOB EXPLAINING IN DETAIL ALL THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE & WAS VERY SPECIFIC REGARDING THE DETAILS OF THE MATERIALS THAT WERE USED ON OUR HOUSE, AS WE HAD REQUESTED. THERE WAS GOOD COMMUNICATION & FOLLOW THROUGH THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS. ADDITIONALLY, JUAN & HIS CREW WERE EXTREMELY EFFICIENT & GET AN A+ ON CLEANING UP AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

ESTIMATOR CAME AND TOOK PHOTOS, TOLD US THAT WORK WOULD NOT EXCEED ESTIMATE AND IT DID NOT. THEY SEEM HONEST AND EXPERIENCED.

PROMPT, KEPT US UPDATED ON PROGRESS. KEPT THE YARD VERY CLEAN.
