I have worked on and off with Cedar Roofing trying to stay loyal to the local company that installed my current roof, but I will be switching over permanently. They have come out twice in emergencies over the years when others somewhat rudely put us off. Most recently they came to clear snow after we sprung a leak and repaired a small hole they found. In both emergencies they did the needed work right away and well and then some. They also fixed a gutter problem that others had been unable to solve. They are always polite, call back, etc.

Had this company out to fix a leak in my roof. Came out quickly and charged me $460 for the repair. In April I called them because the roof was leaking in the same place. They told me that I would have to pay for another service call and the repair. I explained to him that I paid them less than six months ago to repair the leak and I am still having the same issue. He said they do not warranty their repairs. Asked to speak to a manager. He called me back and said the same thing! I would not do business with this company or recommend them at all!

Prompt and honest about work needing to be done. Satisfied.

Received quote and then a revision based on some updated specifications I requested. Quote was nicely written and covered all the requirements, but was 50% more expensive than the next highest quote and double what I eventually spent. They are just out of my price range.

Very professional-they showed up on time, were polite and neat and worked very hard. A very pleasant experience. They did not mess around-knew what needed to be done and executed it efficiently. Such a nice work crew!

Responsive, easy to deal with. Work performed as promised.

I followed up with them two years ago as we had a problem with water coming in through the windows. They completely said they would come look at the issue but didn't know what would cause the problem. I have not heard anything since then, they have completely ignored me. I recently sent them another email and still no response.

Very professional. Each time, someone came out, assessed what we needed done, sent us an estimate/contract that was appropriate for the job we wanted done. As a lawyer, I appreciate their attention to details in the contracts they sent. They were always prompt in responding to my requests (eg. to get proof of insurance) and in performing work. They never cut corners. Made sure they quickly replaced a window they broke while installing my house roof. Made sure they complied with village requirements. I found them by accident when I went to my village hall a few years ago and heard a contractor recommending them. I recommend them highly.

I thought they did a great job, overall. There were no problems. I had a roof leak and they fixed the roof. They refurbished it and did it at a reasonable price. I thought the price was fair. They did it when they said they would do it. They were good to work with.

It went excellent. They are very busy but they came out promptly however we were on a waiting list. They are very professional.

This company could not have been more professional. They remove the old shingles from only one area of the roof at a time and completely finish that section before moving on to the next. This basically eliminates the worry over weather during the project. The workmanship was excellent. People have stopped by just to say how beautiful and well done our new roof is. The job site was cleaned thoroughly of debris and nails each evening before they left. Communication with the job foreman was good as well. All questions were answered and explained. The estimator remained involved in the project until its completion and answered questions during the process. The company even supplies a portable toilet to the job site! We could not have been more satisfied with the result. We had anticipated the replacement of our roof with dread both for the unbelievable expense and the anticipated actual project, and wound up feeling that we had made a great decision.

Cedar roofing rep. Was very helpful in explaining to my wife and I the hail damage done to my current cedar shake roof, gutters and vent shields. He took numerous photos and wrote in detail a quote and proposal for us and our insurance company. He actually came over to our home to meet with the insurance company's claims adjuster to examine our roof once again and discuss the merits of a possible claim.

This past winter we had ice damming and water started coming in. We incurred $40,000 in damages to the interior of our home. I was told by the roofer we called to correct the problem that our roof had not been installed properly because they failed to tuck the ice and water shield under the fascia. I called Cedar Roofing to ask if they would correct the problem. I spoke to the owner. He told me that my 2 year warranty expired in 2013 and that ice dams were not his problem. I tried to explain to him that the ice damming was not his fault but the water infiltration was a direct result of their faulty installation of the ice and water shield. He hung up on me in mid-sentence saying he was very busy and had to get going. If you hire this company, once they complete the job, you are on your own. They do not stand by their work. In addition, they use subcontractors and do not have uniform standards for installation. The owner does not monitor quality of work. Other reputable roofers have advised me to replace my roof even though it is only 3 years old.

I would highly recommend CRC for anyone needing a new roof. The team was great to work with starting with the Sales Team and continuing through to the crew that did the roof replacement. At each step of the process they did exactly what they said they would, at the time they said they would do it. The execution of the work was extremely professional from the time the roll off dumpster arrived, throughout the construction, and upon cleaning up my yard upon completion. Replacing a roof is an expensive investment to make, and having a contractor come in and deliver the way CRC did made it a very positive experience. The roof looks fantastic and we are very happy. Kudos to Mike, Tarsi and team on a job well done.

I started calling Cedar Roofing on or about July 1st to obtain a quote to treat the roof. I was told to call "Mike", which I did and left a message. I did the same for a couple more days and then spoke to the office again on July 3rd. I was told I still needed to contact Mike, but he had left for the holiday weekend. I was told he would follow-up with me on Monday July 7th. At that point I had to agree with the seller's proposal or delay attorney review. I left Mike another message at the beginning of the week and still did not receive a call back. I called the office again on Friday July 11th and was told they would not speak to me about a quote until after closing and I was the owner of the home. I suppose that is their call, just seems strange as I was provided their info from the home seller. My dissatisfaction is that it took close to two weeks for them to tell me that was their policy. My expectation is that a professional company would have returned my call and advised me of their policy. I now have lost that time and will start all over in the process.

The experience could not have been better. CRC is very familar with my community and replaces countless roofs in my area. They know exactly what the work should cost and charge accordingly. Their may have been a better price (there always is) but not a better value. The entire process, from initial contact until the final person was off my property could not have gone better. The roof is of excellent quality both in terms of installation and material. I have received numerous compliments from neighbors and other contractors who have been to my home. On the final day CRC was on my property I came home for lunch and a quick look at the work's progression. There were probably 8 men, stacks of material, tools, waste and a pota potty on my property. When I returned home at 5:30 everyone and everything was gone. Not a single nail or scrap of material was left behind. 13 months later and I have yet to find a single nail. I've had a number of friends and relatives uses CRC in the meantime and eveyone has thanked me. I cannot say enough about these people. They are truly outstanding.

I was very happy with the company. The service was quick and the price was competitive and the wokmanship was high quality.

CRC was very responsive to inspecting our 15 year old cedar roof. Came on time for the inspection, followed up by a quick quote. The work was very fast, and professionally executed. Fully cleaned up afterwards, and the final bill was under the initially quoted price. Big Fan!

Were very pleased with their work and deportment. Highily recommend!

The process went well except for the aftermath left behind. The crew failed to clean up and left nails and other materials in the yard which could have injured my children and dog. If they had just followed through with the basic of cleanup I could recommend Cedar Roofing, but as-is, I'd say try somewhere else. The overall experience was not impressive enough to cancel out the major flaw.

We talked on the phone, Keith came out to inspect the roof, he suggested the work needed, provided an estimate, then the work was scheduled and completed on the day we agreed to. The temperature had dropped below the temperature needed to perform all of the work, but I was invoiced a reduced amount that reflected the actual work completed. This is how work like this should always go!

Cedar Roofing did a very good job. Mike Aranda, the project manager was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Our home is a duplex so he worked with both our neighbor and myself. Our home is over 100 years old and he was knowledgeable about historical homes and the area we lived in. We had several other estimates and Cedar was most reasonable but also made some good suggestions as to what we could and could not do to our home. Mike was always on time and very pleasant to deal with. He was able to answer our questions and made good suggestions. They started the project on time and completed on time. The crew was very pleasant to be around. We are very pleased with how it looks. They also were very considerate of our landscaping. We were very pleased with our experience with Cedar Roofing and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Cedar did a very nice job. Excellent communication and attention right from the start with Mike Aranda, the project manager who worked closely with my neighbor and me (she owns the other half of our building -- a 100+ year old Victorian duplex) as we were re-roofing together to ensure one look and a quality job. We met with Mike twice to review the specs - he was always on time and prepared. We received four other estimates and Cedar's was one of the lowest. The job started on time, and from what I can tell, the roofing work was done well. We were particularly concerned that the crew would be careful with our landscaping and it came through the process with no damage at all. The only reason why I didn't give them an A on quality was we had a bit of trouble with the repairs to the gutters which were not done correctly. But when I brought it to Mike's attention he had it taken care of immediately. The crew had installed a new metal edge to our existing custom in-laid gutters but didn't caulk it or the nail holes, so the water would have flowed right through the joint. But they corrected it right away. Regarding the gutters, Mike suggested that we spray them with an epoxy coating to add some years of service since they're starting to rust out. Since they're custom made, it will cost a lot to replace them and we were grateful for his advice. Hopefully the fix will work. All in all, a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cedar Roofing.

They did a terrific job. We picked a cedar roof and they explained my options because there are different cuts of cedar. I was very pleased with the look of what they did. I have had a couple of contractors comment that they did a particularly good job of laying the cedar. I had not understood this but apparently you can make it crooked, you have to do it in a way so it doesn't look slanted. It looks beautiful and it has not leaked. The skylights have not leaked. There was nothing I disliked. They were very professional. They came when the were supposed to, they finished the job on schedule and they were neat about the way they handled the project. They weren't just throwing shingles everywhere and messing up my yard. The were in the middle price range of the estimates I got. Their price was fair.
