This guy is a everything you could hope for in a locksmith. Prompt, very knowledgeable, accommodating and a really nice guy. Really, a pleasure to do business with. I talked with Tom on the phone and texted him my address. Unfortunately, I didn't get his phone number right. Tom was nice enough to follow up and let me know he didn't get my address. He showed up on time on Sunday and performed all the work on my new home the day after I moved in. He also fixed a lock install and door jam issue that my contractor had caused. Overall, just awesome.

Tom re-keyed and lubricated all five locks on our new house. He also took care to explain the features of several of the locksets, some of which were not obvious to the untrained eye. He even helped me re-code the garage door openers! I would not hesitate to call him again.

We just moved into this house and the locks were nearly impossible to use. After struggling with the front door in particular for two weeks, I emailed Custom Lock through Angie's list. Tom called me within minutes of me emailing. He said he'd come the next day between 8 and 9. He and his assistant came within the time frame and worked for a little over an hour, explaining everything along the way. I now have two doors that work flawlessly and nobody has the keys except us. Most of the cost was parts and tax. I will definitely hire again.

A great example of how a business should operate. Tom responded quickly to the message sent. Then showed up during the short timeframe he said, even called when he was on his way. Did a great job, left no mess and even threw in a couple of extra keys. A job well done, over and above.

There was a manufacturer defect in one lock that happened to break off. I called Tom and he came to my house within 90 minutes to fix the lock at no cost. Tom also gave me a couple new extra keys. His van is a mobile shop where he does all the work on the spot! Very impressed with Tom's service.

Responded within minutes of my email and was there later that day at a time convenient for me. Fast service, very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone! Tom is fantastic!

Tom called to tell me he would be arriving a little late but that he was on his way. When he arrived he quickly went to work re-keying 6 locks on a new home we had purchased that morning. He also adjusted the doors to ensure they closed smoothly and the locks would work properly. Couldn't have been happier with his service. Would highly recommend.

Tom did a great job! I called and made an appointment. He arrived and we went through the house examining all the various locks on the doors. Most were straight forward, one was going to be very expensive due to the type of lock. He gave me an inexpensive alternative, which worked out great. I would definitely use him again.

The door to our garage would not open. The lock had broken. This happened at 9:00 one evening. We knew that we had to repair the lock that night and secure the house. We learned that our regular locksmith only works days! We tried calling a number from the phone book, but that only connected us to a random locksmith on call. Then we found Custom Lock & Safe on Angies List. Tom (one of the owners) came right out within 10 minutes, had all the necessary tools and parts with him, and fixed the whole thing within 20 minutes. We just bought a new house and I called to get the locks rekeyed. Tom was out to the house in less than an hour from when I called. Professional, quick and it cost less than I would have thought to rekey 5 locks as well a picking a lock we didn't have the key to. Great to work with, very personable.

Tom was amazing. He picked up the key from our realtors office the day we closed on our home and re-keyed all 10 locks, made adjustments to make sure they all worked well and replaced the front door locking system. He also make copies of our keys and sent one to us so we could access our home when we arrived after moving from another state.

I closed on my home on Friday and called Custom Lock the same day to make arrangements to change out all the locks in my new home. Tom made arrangements to change all my locks on a Sunday morning at 10am. He arrived on Tom; listened to exactly what we were looking for; made suggestions on how we could save some money; and changed ALL 8 sets of door locks and well as the codes for my garage door opener and keypad in less than 2 hours. Great value for the money and work done by a consummate professional. I would hire Tom again in a nanosecond if the need arises and would highly recommend him.22

Tom was punctual and very professional. He is friendly and performs quality work. Minor adjustment were needed to allow locks to work properly and Tom made repairs at no extra charge. The overall experience was a breath of fresh air considering now a days how a lot of providers try and up sell you and charge for everything. I would recommend to to any one.

I emailed him and he responded right away and showed up a day and a half later. I wasn't home when it was done but my husband said he was really nice and got the job done quickly.

Tom arrived promptly and got right to work. He quickly evaluated all of our door locks, explained how things would go and started taking out the components as he showed me what needed to be done. Very efficient. With a two unit building, there was a lot of work to be done but the whole process was done in two hours.

Tom scheduled an appointed with me within less than 48 hours given the urgency associated with not being able to lock my front door. Tom arrived promptly and was very courtesy. Tom is a great communicator. Her explained to me exactly what he was going to explore and the various possibilities. He also provided me with broader insight regarding our problem beyond the door. Specifically, he advised me that my door alignment was off and the weather strip needed to be replaced. He replaced my knobs and spindle and got my door lock operating like brand new. We are finally able to lock and unlock our door with ease and less stress. We should have called Tom a long time ago. There are many locksmiths out there. Don't waste your time and money. I highly recommend Tom as he is genuine and truly knows how to fix locks with one shot!
