Custom Lock & Safe

We just moved into a new house and needed all of our locks changed. Tom arrived 10 minutes early and immediately got to work. He was very efficient and explained everything as he was going along. He ended up changing out 2 dead bolts and re-keying 3 locks. He gave us plenty of spare keys just in case. He also helped us re-program the garage code for free. I would definately recomment him again. A+

Tom was punctual ,professional and very efficient. He also re-programmed the garage door opener and remote pad without any charge. He also fixed without charge. both the side garage door and front door so the dead bolts would close properly.

The service and professionalism were outstanding. Tom could have said he could not re-key the locks due to age and charged me for all new locks across the board. That would have tripled the cost. He did not do that but rather suggested a lower cost alternative. The work was done perfectly and in a very clean manner. Tom could not have been more helpful or professional. A true joy to work with and someone who I will use for all future lock and security needs!

He was able to repair the dead bolt and restore the function without us having to replace the lock set. I also needed to have my house keys changed sometime in the next month, and he did this while he was at the house, which saved me an additional service call. Tom was very friendly, yet professional, and clearly knew what he was doing!

We recently bought a new house and needed the keys to our locks changed. I called a handful of Locksmiths on Angie's List and found that Tom was not only cheaper than the others he was also extremely nice on the phone (and had some great reviews as well). Tom came to the house later that day and was on time and just as courteous as he was on the phone. He took the time to walk me through the garage door codes (at no cost) and proceeded to move through the agreed upon work quickly. Tom pointed out an issue with the back door and installed a new deadbolt. Overall, I was very pleased with Tom, the work, and the overall experience.

Tom Kaesler was very accommodating with the timing of the call as I had an appointment later in the morning. He called first to say he could come by a little early which was perfect. He was very professional and neat, explaining all of the work he was doing. Tom was also able to repair an older model lock on the front door and let me know he is able to get parts if needed. I will recommend Custom Lock & Safe to my friends should they need the service.

Tom was on time and very professional. He was able to fix everything we asked him to and for a very reasonable price. I will be calling him again soon I'm sure.

I received a notch above "A"!! Actually, I received AAA+ service. Beans/Custom was on time, polite, user friendly, was able to work around my schedule, and MORE than fairly priced. If you need a locksmith and DO NOT use this one you are making a mistake. Awesome to work with and if I need new keys and locks again - these guys have my business and should have yours too!

I could go into details about how great they were but the bottom line is they were as good as it gets. Reasonably priced, COMPLETELY TRUSTWORTHY, quick, on-time, etc. etc. They had a number of opportunities to up-sell me on different things but didn't because it wasn't the right thing to do to make the house as safe as possible. Great company. Can't say enough about them. Would send them to my mother's house.

I had a great experience with Tom and would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a prompt, courteous, helpful and reliable locksmith. Scheduling the appointment was very easy and Tom was very flexible with his time. He met me right after work on a Friday evening at my house. He was able to re-key all external locks and doors (5 locks in total) in about 30 minutes. Not only did he re-key the locks, but he also cleaned and lubricated them so they worked better than before. He also gave a number of helpful tips during the job about how to best use and maintain the locks. He was able to re-key all the locks to use the same key and 6 keys were included in the price. All in all, it was a quick and efficient job, and I would definitely call Tom if I needed any locksmith work in the future. He was very professional and easy to work with.

This was by far the best experience we have ever had with a locksmith. We had just closed on a condo and were eager to get the locks changed and ensure the property was secure. Tom was extremely accomidating in terms of getting everything done when we needed. He was thorough and informed us of everything he was doing, what the cost would be up front and really went out of his way to ensure we knew what was going on. He even made me test the locks to make sure that I knew how the new keys/locks functioned. I would HIGHLY recommend Tom to anyone in need of a locksmith!!!

We called Tom because we were having trouble locking our front door. He came out the same day and fixed the striker plate so that the lock would work, and did similar work on another door that was also difficult to lock. At our request, he gave us an estimate for replacing our locks. He saved us money on the second job by not charging a second service charge, and by telling us to buy knobs and locks on our own rather than have him supply them. He installed the new knobs and locks and they are currently working well.

Tom was fast, professional, and knowledgable. We really had a great experience working with Tom and have already recommended him to family and friends. I would call Tom in a heartbeat next time we need his services.

I needed to rekey the locks on 2 of my doors as well as replace the door knob on one of those doors as it had been drilled into previously due to locking ourselves out. Based on previous user reviews, i picked Custom lock and safe for my needs. Tom provided an accurate quote for the services i mentioned over the phone and arrived within the time window i requested the next day. The work was completed to my satisfaction. Tom was very professional throughout and answered all my questions patiently. I was happy with my choice of going with custom lock and safe and would use their services again in the future.

Working with Tom was a great experience. I emailed him on Christmas day and he got back to me on the very same day! Tom called before arriving and was always on time. His first visit was to review the job, then he returned will all needed parts to complete the work; this even included some custom components that were required. The locks Tom installed all worked great! He left the work area cleaner than he found it and gave me a great discount to top it off. Thanks Tom!

Very responsive and fast service! I emailed through Angie's List on a Saturday and received a call within minutes. I needed locks re-keyed after a new home purchase. He was able to come to the house just a few hours later and take care of the job. Great service!

I contacted Custom Lock through Angie's List on a Saturday inquiring about having locks rekeyed on a new home purchase, not expecting a response until Monday, but I received a call back from Tom that day and he came out on a Sunday to look at the locks. While he was there he stated he could go ahead and rekey them while he was there and that it would take less than an hour. We also discussed an additional door that we were considering adding a deadbolt to and he said he could install one for us and provided us with a reasonable estimate We also discussed whether we needed additional locks on a sliding glass door. Overall this was amazingly responsive, efficient, and affordable service. I was impressed and would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to have their locks rekeyed.

I emailed Tom via Angie's list website. Within minutes I received a call from Tom and he agreed to come out the next day to re key our house. He did a great job explaining everything and he was on time. If I could give an A plus for punctuality I would but the scale doesn't go that high.
