Winchester had a terrible hail storm come through quite some time before I began looking for a contractor to do the work. The hail just devastated the roof and the siding on my garage. It ruined many homes here in Winchester, and since the roof wasn't leaking I thought I'd wait and see who did good work on the homes around me. As I had expected from previous dealings, JIC was doing great work. So, I gave them and one other company a call for an estimate. JIC responded the same day with a visit to my home. Josh measured the siding, and the roof. He was very polite, and really helpful. He offered to help me deal with my insurance, make sense of all the paperwork, and said he would come back the next day to bring me a written estimate. He called the next morning and asked to set up a time to visit with the paperwork. As I am retired, I said he could come anytime. He showed up at my door within the hour and read the entire proposal to me. I told him that the price was a little higher than what my insurance had stated in the papers they sent me. Josh asked if it would be okay to see the paperwork and I agreed. After looking through everything, Josh noticed that the insurance company had forgotten to include the insulation board that goes behind the siding. So, he offered to call my insurance agent and talk with him to see if they could work out the details. We called my agent, and luckily got him on the first try. Josh noted the lack of insulation board on the insurance agents estimate, and the agent agreed he must have forgotten to include it. They agreed on an amount for the roof and the siding that they both thought was fair. I agreed, signed the paperwork, and was very please that Josh actually got me more money from the insurance than I was originally going to get. We talked about colors, siding types, and josh had several samples for me to see. He left everything for me to show my family and get some help with my choices.About 3 weeks later Josh called to tell me they would be finishing a project soon, and that I would be up next. We scheduled a day for the crew to come a few days after. Josh and his crew showed up pretty early in the morning, about 7:30 on the day scheduled. There were about 6 or 7 guys, and Josh introduced me to all of them, and made sure I knew who the foreman was so I could talk with him throughout the project. The guys were really polite, and all seemed to know exactly what they were supposed to do. The foreman moved my car out of the garage for me, he said that moving around on the roof could cause a lot of dust to shake around and he didn't want my car to get dirty - I thought that attention to detail was really caring. They set up all there equipment, put railings up around the edges, and began tearing off my old roof and throwing the shingles into a little trailer that they brought. They had the whole roof removed by about noon. They all came down, and started cleaning up the small stuff that had fallen, ran a magnet through the grass that the foreman said was to pick up the nails. They said they were going to take an hour lunch and then come back to put the shingles on. They showed up an hour later, and pulled a truck up to the garage with a bunch of shingles and a conveyor belt to lift them up. They loaded the shingles, paper and got to work right away. I was amazed, as I really thought it would take longer for the whole thing to happen. They had the paper on in no time, and then had it all shingled up with in about 4 hours. While the guys were putting on the shingles, others were cleaning up the wrappers and scraps. When they were all done, they walked the yard and used the magnet again. The foreman, was nice enough to ask me to open the garage again so he could sweep up the dust on the floor and put my car back inside! My garage floor hadn't been swept in years, so I was happy to let him in. After everything was done and cleaned up, they loaded up there equipment, and the foreman brought me a picture on his phone of what the roof looked like - he said he wanted me to see that the rows were nice and straight. They guys left, and about a few minuets later Josh showed up. He put up a ladder and checked the work, then came down and said things looked great. We talked for a while about the crew and I told him just how happy I was with everything and that I was amazed it only took one day. I thanked him, and asked him to thank the crew again for me. Josh said that a few guys would come back the next day to start working on the siding and then went on his way.Two guys showed up the next day, and I recognized both of them from the day before. They were again really polite, and moved my car out so that I wouldn't be blocked in by the work that they were doing. The siding process took several days, and was just a clean a professional as the roofing job was. When they were finished, the guys walked me around and showed me all the details, made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted and that I was happy. I told them I wasn't just happy, I was really impressed. Josh came again the next day to look it all over and make sure I was happy. He didn't even want a check, he said that I would get a bill in the mail, and that I should submit it to my insurance so they would get me the money. He said I could pay them when I got paid. I got the bill in the mail a few days later, just like Josh said I would, and it was exactly the price we had agreed on.I was really thankful I called JIC for the work, they did a wonderful job with everything. It has been several months, I have had no leaks, and the work still looks great. I have recommended the company to several friends and will be calling them back to do another project for me this fall.

MFO sent a bad batch of shingles, contractor assisted in making a warranty claim & did a nice job putting shingles back on. Contractor was very helpful.
