Description of Work: Check and replace furnace filter(my responsibility,not his),checked all service lines to compressor/evaporation unit. Ran test on unit, to ensure operation. Jimmy explained every step he performed, and its purpose.

Description of Work: I needed to have ARS return to replace a sump pump they installed (in 2008, yes folks, that's 2008). FACT IS that we live on the edge of an underground spring and when spring hits and rain starts with melting snow, this pump runs every 30 seconds on/off, on/off, on/off for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It finally "bought the farm" this past Friday night. Luckily, I had a smaller piggybacked pump in the same hole to kick in just in case the primary died as it did. So we stayed dry! I also waited to call them till Monday morning because I didn't want to spend any extra dollars for a weekend call if I didn't have to. I called first think on Monday morning and by 12:30 PM, I had Mr. Sam D'Amato. in my basement replacing the defunct old pump with a new one. Now that's SERVICE!! I asked Sam for a Weil Pump, which is what I had in the sump before, and he told me they stopped selling them due to issues with what ARS deamed as premature failures. He sold me on their new brand they handle (StormPro Submersible Pumps). For you gearheads: I got a 3/4 HP pump that will move 85 GPM with a 10' head. Sam then moved into an explanation of the extended warranty. I normally don't ever buy into these plans but he took the time to explain the plan, what it cost and how it would pay for itself on this first call!! I didn't want to spend anymore money than I needed to but his patience showed me how beneficial this would be for me. I bought it and it saved me a minimum of 10%. Thanks Sam. To finish up, ARS performed excellent service in better than a timely fashion for a reasonable price with a quality product. What else could you ask for? Value folks!! Oh, did I mention that Sam put on his shoe covers before he walked in my house without any prompting from me? Sounds petty but oh so important. That shows all considerations for the customer. Description of Work: ARS/Anderson Heating & Cooling 731 District Drive Itasca, IL 60143 (630) 438-6900 Service completed: Maintenance/tune up call to keep furnace in shape and thwart any problems. I am always pleased with the work completed by Nate J. He is efficient, explains exactly what he's done and any "heads-up" items that will need to be addressed in the future. When he suggests I need a new part and explains why, I trust he's not just selling me. I have been using ARS for 20 years and now request Nate J. He is very personable, leaves everything as it was when he arrived, is punctual, clean and complete. I have been very happy with these maintenance calls for my furnace and A/C and have purchased both from ARS when needing replacements. I also like that ARS calls to remind me it's time for a maintenace call. I automatic pay on a monthly basis so all is paid for when they do the maintenance/tune up work.

Description of Work: There was a leak under the kitchen sink. The tech looked at the problem and said the plumbing was not up to code and had to be replaced otherwise he could not repair the problem. He replaced both the hot and cold pipes and shutoffs which corrected the problem. We felt the price was fair for the work he did but question if it was necessary to go to the extent of replacing everything. Altho there should not be any more leaks.
