I wasn't 100% satisfied with their work. I had a problem with the humidifier when the motor when out. I had to have another company come out and install a new one since then. ARS didn't tell me each time it broke that I probably needed a new one, and the other company was more honest with me by telling me it was time for a new one. ARS wasn't bad, they just weren't terrific.

Very well. They explained what was to be expected and their quote was within what I had received from others. They offered a discount for having a home depot card, which made the job more affordable. They came on time with a three man crew who explained everything. They were great about the order they did things so I would not be without heat for very long. They put down tarps to protect the floor. They don't use subcontractors which was nice. When they were completed, they took me downstairs and gave me a lesson on every peice of equipment. I was really pleased with their work.

They didn't know what they were doing. They weren't going through the main plumbing pipe, rather a smaller pipe, meaning they had to drill a very small hole. They came back out and started to tear up my front yard. It turns out they just needed to go though the larger, main plumbing pipe.

Sales rep was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Workers arrived on time. Install was very good. Workers were very thorough in explaining furnace and A/c instructions. Cleanup very good

He didn't try to sell me anything, which I appreciated. I told him the plumbing problems I had and he said they were within normal limits. I felt the man they sent was very honest. He recommended I might change the sump pump but certainly didn't try to push me. There was also evidence of a possible leak that he said I should have checked out, but again he didn't push me.

I did a service contract for the heating and cooling because I liked the worker. Nate, the worker did a good job when he came out. One day when I had no heat, he was able to come out within 20 minutes to fix it.

What they wanted to charge for the amount of work they were going to do was very high. The worker didn't seem very knowledgeable about what I needed to have done.

The price doesn t come to my mind at all. They were very prompt and they were very tidy with their work. They were very polite when they came out. I would definitely hire them again.

Great. The tech reviewed the drains and determined them to be plugged by excessive hair and buildup over the years. He was able with a screwdriver and his hands to clean all the drains without having to rod out the pipes. He saved me easily $500 plus just by doing 15 mins of inspection. Loved the experience and recommend them most wholeheartedly!

This is the second time we used ARS in an emergency. Both times, they came out very quickly, were attentive to the matter, gave good advice, performed work quickly. This time, the 2 plumbers did a great job cleaning up after their work and were very professional.

It was a disaster. Waited four plus hours for emergency service, only to have the person show up and tell us he couldn't help us with our problem, that he did not work on heating systems. This was despite the fact that we CLEARLY explained our problem to their main office--that we had a FROZEN RADIATOR PIPE in our HEATING SYSTEM. They said they could not get a technician for our specific problem out that day, nor could they promise to get someone to come first thing the next morning.

Neighbors highly recommended a local plumber. I phoned and found that this plumber has been bought out by ARS, which it seems is owned by a Service Master. I decided to proceed and have ARS do the job. I have come to the conclusion I need a local plumber. The ARS plumber (called by ARS a technician) had all the Boy Scout virtues of clean, friendly and courteous. Price was not too bad. However, the whole experience was very corporate. What was even worse was that a home inspector happened to come the next week and declared that the gas line installed by ARS did not meet code (was not attached at intervals to the was and did not have a drip leg). ARS came back out and declared that the home inspector did not know what he was talking about. Personally, I believe the home inspector. It became very clear that ARS was not going to do anything other that push their corporate line blissfully and serenely confident in their corporate system. Live and learn.

The technician said the price should be $225, but he would take the price down to $125. I wish I could make $125 for 10 minutes of work. He wanted to show me the shiny rate book, but I didn't need to see it. This company had replaced a refrigerator water line for us several years ago and they were not "shiny book" bandits at that point in time. I was surprised. I had called about six plumbers from the phone book, but no one would give me any idea about price. I selected this company based on past experience, but clearly things are different now.

Arnie Castillo, and his assistant Victor Wiacek, were cordial, professional, and accountable for their work. They did a yeoman's job both inside and outside. ARS responded immediately to my needs, even during the dog days of July 2006.

I was very pleased with the service from call to completion. I called for the service in the morning at around 8 am and was told that someone would be following up with me later that morning. I got a call from their technician that he would be at my house in the early afternoon. He came at 1:30 pm, apologized for being later than expected, assessed the situation, quoted a price, and did the work. The water seems to be draining just fine now. He also indicated that someone will be coming out the following week to do a camera inspection follow-up.

They came out one day, charged me $225, they said they provided camera service and power routed, but they were only here for about 15 minutes, they said they couldn't go any further because there was a large blockage. I had the city come out and take a look and they said I did not have a blockage, I just needed them to route it out all the way. ARS tried to tell me that I had cracked tile and would have to replace the sewer pipes for $5200. The city was able to route it out and told me i did not have cracked tile. ARS really tried to gouge me. I've even tried to speak with a manager for about 3 months and they won't return my calls.

THE PRICES WERE COMPARABLE TO OTHER COMPANIES, BUT THE QUALITY WAS WORTH THE EXTRA FOR THE PRICE. THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT FOLLOW-UP AND CHECKING TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS OK.

ARS WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. CAME TO OUR HOUSE, IN THE CITY, 2 HOURS AFTER I CALLED. UNFORTUNATELY DIDN'T HAVE A LONG ENOUGH ROD TO TRAVEL THROUGH OUT VERY LONG PIPE SYSTEM. BUT RETURNED FIRST THING NEXT MORNING TO FIX EVERYTHING. ALSO LEFT US BIODEGRADABLE DRAIN SOLUTION TO USE. HONORED AN EXPIRED COUPON. JOHN THE PLUMBER WAS VERY COURTEOUS, PROMPT, & PROFESSIONAL.

WORK WAS OF DECENT QUALITY BUT PRICES CAN DEFINITELY BE BEAT BY SHOPPING AROUND AND ASKING QUESTIONS. SOME SERVICES THAT THEY RECOMMENDED MAY NOT HAVE BEEN ESSENTIAL BASED UPON FURTHER RESEARCH.
