I paid $49 for an Angie's List Deal that included a water heater inspection and cleaning combined with a complete home plumbing inspection. I scheduled the appointment (4-hour range) the previous day and was called 30 minutes ahead of time so I would know the specific time. Manny, a licensed plumber, arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection of the water heater and plumbing system. He was professional and I never felt that he was rushing or just going through the motions. During the course of the inspection, a few problems were found and pointed out. However, the problems were not exaggerated and I never felt pressured to buy additional services, although they were priced and offered. Per the terms of the agreement, I requested a camera inspection of my main drain tile system. Manny called and scheduled the service. Joe showed up as scheduled that afternoon and also did a thorough job. He provided insight re: what the camera showed, but no problems were found (none were expected). This was a great deal and was definitely worth more than $49. I don't really think about the plumbing system at my home unless there is a problem. This informed me of some potential issues that I will be able to address before they become real problems.

Arrived on time, very courteous, proceeded to work on the main line outside for about 30-45 mins. Made sure everything was working well. Was kind enough to clean out my tube and toilet which had backed up sewage, Very good experience. I've used ARS several times before and always satisfied.

Found a problem I needed to refer to my home warranty company and saved over $500

I was very happy with the service provided. Juan (?) was very professional & polite and even wore booties over his work shoes when he came in the house. I thought I had purchased just an A/C check up but he looked at the furnace too. He helped me program my thermostat which has always been a mystery to me and was full of useful information & recommendations. He was trustworthy and did a great job. I would definitely use ARS again.

They were supposed to come out today between 8-12. I got a call from the Indiana office and they said that whoever took the order assigned it to the wrong city and state. I have since been waiting for a return phone call.

They called us to schedule and appointment and came out and inspected the heater. Everything was good with it so nothing else was needed. They had done our A/C in the spring and it is an older A/C and he gave us some tips on how to make it last a little longer. He didn't try to sell us another unit or anything like that which was nice. We are actually due for the spring A/C cleaning which we just realized we have not received a call about so we are going to have to call them which is the first time we are calling them instead of them calling us. Hopefully that is not a sign of service going downhill.

We purchased a terrible homeowners insurance from American Home Shield. They sent these guys out to fix some plumbing problems. They charged me $75 for the service call and was unable to fix anything. In addition they argued with me and the insurance about the shower temperature. Our shower was not getting hot water. They told the insurance it was a matter of preference and that what I considered "luke warm" was actually "hot". Our children actually consider the water temperature cold. There is not another person outside of this company that would consider the water hot. They were not able to fix anything. Luckily, I have Angie's list and found a different and great provider to come out and do the job!

They were very professional and they solved the problem. They also gave us a quote for a new water heater.

My specialist was Christopher. He was an excellent representative of ARS. He was very pleasant and friendly,while maintaining his professionalism. He was extremely knowledgeable and educated me on quite a few details. In fact, I expect to have additional work performed in late June. Highly recommend!

The plumber arrived on time. He inspected the toilet that I had in mind for my toilet tuneup. The big buy included one toilet tune up and an entire plumbing inspection of the house. He then told me it was going to cost $250 to replace the flapper valve and pump (I am not sure if this is the right name for this). I was shocked! I thought the coupon was for the tune up of one toilet and included this. He said he had no idea what coupon I had but this was what they charged. I said no thank you. But I did proceed to print out my big deal coupon. I read it to him...it did include a five point tune-up which included the flapper valve replacement. He was like...oh..and said there was no way to know what every person's coupon said. I thought that was weird as I bought this big deal and told the scheduler exactly what I had. Anyway, I ended up having to pay an additional $129 plus the $39 dollars I already paid. I felt it was just a ploy and that was extremely expensive. I asked if there was an Angie's list discount and the answer was no!

They did a good job on the inspection, and they gave us a quote for future improvements. The person that came out was professional and courteous.

I have one toilet dripping rust on the ground. The toilet tank is loosely connected to the toilet. thought this should be really the basics when someone come to "turn up" your toilet. the guy told me it wasn't part of the tune up and he'll charge additional to fix it. I told him "then don't do anything about it and I'll have others to fix it for me. Can you just check all the toilets in the house (3 total) for me then?". He told me turn up is only for 1 toilet and he can only check one toilet for me. I simply told him to leave at this point. So he took my Angie's list voucher and left without doing any work! this is completely a bad deal that they don't do anything for you! I can pay my handyman $30 and have the whole thing fixed instead of paying Angie's List $39 and had nothing done!

He checked the A/C unit. They did an okay job.

Our water heater was not working ,means whenever we try to use hot water it is coming cold.it was the main issue. Tried many things, finally it worked out.

I wasn't charged any further than the price of the deal. The gentleman was skilled and professional. He did the service in a very small partial attic but he was able to deal with it. He wanted me to sign some paper work and it seemed to me that if I signed then I would actually ask him to have another work done. It was a little strange and I didn't sign. I think their price was good.

I was impressed. Dan was very professional and courteous. This is the first time I had a service man take the time to thoroughly explain what he was doing and why. He showed me a defective part and recommended another part to extend the life of my 20 year old a/c unit. After Dan was done I also signed up for the yearly service plan. I felt he was working in my best interest and not trying to "upsell" me. I am happy that I found a serviceman I feel I can trust! Thank you Angie and ARS!

Job was done well, a basic A/C tune-up. Was recommended to add 1 lb of freon. I felt the price for freon was kind of high.

Jason was very professional. Showed me all areas of concern with my a/c unit. Explained the problems and what needs to be done about them.

The appointment went well per my husband, I wasn't home. We had routine servicing done for our central air. The person who serviced the unit knew what he was doing, and we are happy with the experience.

It went well. They inspected all of my equipment.

ac tune up, looks like nothing much was done. opened the ac checked the freon and capacitor. recommended a pound of freon and change capacitor. capacitor in the market cost only $20 to $25, it would have taken him 5 minutes of labor to change the capacitor. Asked for $200 and said capacitor cost $80 - $90 dollars and the rest was labor. For freon asked about $100, not sure if it is overpriced or okay.

Spent more than intended but repairs were needed

They were expensive. He installed the toilet, but I had to pay another $68, because they charged $268. He was nice and showed up on time. He also took a look at a faucet out back that was leaking and gave me an estimate, which was $500.
