The service was excellent. He was on time and he did a wonderful job. They were not aware of the coupon at first but they sent it to me in the mail and took care of it. So far everything is working well. They got the job done in about 2 hours. The plumber was professional.

Anytime I have had them over I have always been satisfied with the work they have done. I know I can depend on them for any work needed and their prices are fair. They always wear uniforms and come in an ARS truck. They will also call you if they are going to be late. I have been a customer with them for about 4-5 years now. As an apartment building manger being punctual and efficient is important and the tenants are not unhappy about not having water for a while. There is minimal interruption of service.

I have used the company for about 4 years. I have also used them for AC service for my home and 2 other properties I own. I am leery of service people but I have gotten to know them and trust them. I have not had an issue scheduling a service or contacting them when I need. I do think their pricing is high.

The estimate they gave me for a new water heater seemed high. They got the job done in about one hour. The plumber was very courteous, professional, skilled, and seemed to be knowledgeable. My only issue with the visit was the salesy approach.

It was a great deal and if they offered it again I would choose them again. I was very happy with their service and I had no complaints. I would recommend them to friends and family. The technician was very professional and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions.

The repair was minor but they did a fine job. They got the job done in about 60-90 minutes and they cleaned everything out. The plumber was very personable.

The plumber was okay. The scheduling was fine. The plumber left his keys and had to stay at my condo for a little while.

I made an appointment for company to come out to give me an estimate for a new furnace. They give you a 4 hours window. Company made appointment between 10 and 2 today. Company rep called three times. One time to confirm, another time to say that salesman would come between 1 and 2. Third time company called to say salesman could not make appointment. I am furious that company wasted my day. They should not make an appointment with a customer that they cannot attend and if the salesman was going to be late they should have sent another salesman. I will NEVER use this company again although I have used them in the past. I have zero tolerance when my day is wasted waiting for them.

Ended up paying $235 for a $12 capacitor. ARS scared my wife by saying we had an emergent situation with the furnace and motor failure was imminent. When I later shared meter readings the tech gave my wife with a different HVAC professional I was told that based on the reading the capacitor was only beginning to fail and indicated it could stress the blower moter with time. I feel that the ARS tech made it sound like an emergency so we wouldnt have time to check out the real price. I feel in this case they intentionally marked up parts to cover the supposed labor "included" and use scare tactics to rush the uniformed consumer into rash decisions. Compromised my trust.

The only negative from the installer was the delay in installation because they didn't come completely prepared for what was the worst case for us.

The service went terrifically. They did exactly what the deal stated. One technician came out. My wife primarily dealt with the technician. She thought he was very professional and helpful. He walked through with her and explained everything very clearly. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Original appointment had to be moved back as plumber was stuck at another job (it happens). When he arrived for the service call, he was nice, courteous and patient. We looked into several services and possible replacement of an older toilet, but the prices were too high for me at this time. They were not unreasonable.

They were fine. I don't recall if there were additional fees.

Purchased an Angie's List big deal that included the following: $39 for a five-point toilet tune-up and comprehensive home plumbing inspection. Five-point tune-up includes: inspecting and adjusting the fill valve, cleaning rim flush holes, replacing the worn flapper, adjusting the tank level operation, and a home plumbing inspection...except none of that was actually done. One of my toilets could, in fact, have used the tune up as described in the deal ...but the plumber insisted that I would have to pay extra for it - nearly $300!! What a rip off! Basically I paid $39 for a guy to come to my house to give me a quote for all the things they could fix for an outrageous price. Stay away...both from the big "deal" and this company.

I had scheduled the annual tune-up for my air conditioner. Henry was the first technican. He arrived on time, was courteous, friendly and very neat . After he discovered the problem, he checked and learned it was covered by my extended warranty. He explained the problem clearly and arranged for next appointment. Adam was the second technican. He also arrived on time, was courteous and friendly. After performing several checks and tests, it was determined that there was a need for a new A/C coil. Adam took the time to explain the problem as well as the solution. Another appointment was scheduled at my convenience. Again Adam arrived on time. The A/C coil was installed. He took particular care to see that nothing was disturbed in my home. I have been extremely pleased with the service from ARS Rescue Rooter. I hope that they recognize the value of the two men that were sent out. These two men were terrific examples of what service providers should be. Would highly recommend.

I had bought the deal to have them clean and service my Water Heater. The person showed up and told me my water heater was too old and he didn't want to touch it for fear it would collapse. This part I understand, however I was not refunded my money even though they did not do anything except tell me I need a new water Heater, which I had already known was going to be needed.

I needed a small part to a bathroom faucet replaced. I described it clearly over the phone and set up the appointment. The gentleman that arrived was wearing a sharp looking outfit with no tools. He said he had to check the job before he brought in tools. I took him to show him the cartridge that needs replaced, which should have been about a 10 to 15 minute job because I have the cartridge already. He then went in the kitchen to write a proposal that took another 10 minutes. He said to do both faucets (which I already told him I only wanted one), would be $467.88, and 1 faucet would be $395.12, at which time I asked him to leave. This price was way too high for replacing one little cartridge.

Said there was nothing they could do, but they were very honest. I got what I needed to know if it needed to be fixed or if we needed a new one. They said they wouldn't charge for coming out to look at it.

Came first a month ago, and could not fix the problem. Because of where spigot was located , was impossible to replace the whole thing, and did not have the parts to "repair". They told me they would order the parts and schedule another appointment to finish the job. They obviously had a hard time to find what was needed, but when they did, they called back and found me a spot for that same week. The technician (Christopher) was on time, and fast at work. Even though he ran in a few more glitches, he really did his best to solve my issue, and succeeded. Christopher was very professional, very upfront on what was going to be required, and how much it was going to cost so there would be no surprises. He went above and beyond, and I was really impressed all the way around. I will definitely use ARS again, and highly recommend you check them out. Not sure where some of the bad reviews come from, because I personally did not find anything to fault them with.

Worker was willing to come back the next day to ensure that the roots could be cleaned out and that the family did not have to disrupt their daily living.

They arrived late. Said they would come 10-2. Actually arrived at 3:10. They called after 1 to say they were running late. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that they charged my husband $49 for the visit, which I had already pre-paid with the Angie's List coupon. Now we have to get our duplicate payment returned. They did not perform the camera inspection because they told my husband that you had to request this at the time of booking the appointment. The coupon did not state this.. it said upon request. The work they did was fine. The service man was courteous and competent. I have used ARS in the past and will probably do so in the future, but their coupon is turning out to be a hassle.

We have a service contract with this company. I called to have them come out and fix our drain. They came out promptly, fixed the drain, did a fabulous job and did not charge us. Such a wonderful company!
