Description of Work: My wife called another animal control firm after thinking we had bats nesting. She was obviously concerned and the firm was playing her. I called Northwest Suburban Animal Control and Steve looked at the house in detail, went up into the attic, etc. and said there was no evidence of bats in the house or taking up residence where we thought they might have been outside. He was honest and very good. I will keep his card if I ever need him again.

+ -1 moreSteve was very friendly, and good about returning calls and coming out to pick up the animals. Would use him again, although haven't heard from him regarding a follow-up to check my attic vent for birds or squirrels. We had so much action on the raccoon front, this may have been lost in the shuffle. He checked the trap each day and came by early to pick up the animals as soon as I called to let him know one had been caught.
Description of Work: Steve set traps to capture the raccoon family that was nesting under my deck once the kits were old enough to be mobile. Steve caught 2 of the raccoons and an opossum. He checked back several times for the remaining raccoons, but they seem to have moved on for now. Cost to set the initial trap was $95 plus $45 to remove each animal that was caught.

He was on-site at our house for 20 minutes, reviewed the situation, made very helpful suggestions, offered additional services and instilled confidence in his work. He has a fair and considerate attitude in dealing with customers that unfortunately is becoming much harder to find nowadays. We are very happy with Steve and wholeheartedly recommend him for any animal, pest or insect removal problems you may have.
Description of Work: Steve (owner) came per appointment to set a raccoon trap. We had made the appointment several days earlier and I had since set my own trap over the weekend. Steve climbed on the roof, inspected my trap and other areas of the roof for animal evidence. Reported that both vent fans had damage evidence and needed to be replaced. Said our neighborhood has a high rate of animal problems (next to the forest) and suggested what needed to be done. He also suggested ideas for reducing animal intrusions in the future. Great attitude, great job and performance. While there was no charge for today's visit, since I had already set my own traps, he said if I catch an animal, he'll be right over to remove it for me.

Description of Work: I submitted an earlier report with an error in total fee paid. My husband pointed out we paid for each raccoon removal fee of $45 and not $85, and the aluminum cost $45. My apologies. Would use him again despite the fact that he did not return my last call when I thought I heard another noise after he had sealed the hole just to reassure me that the noise I heard was not a raccon, but wind blowing against the house.

+ -1 moreWENT WITH THIS COMPANY RATHER THAN FIRST COMPANY CALLED BECAUSE THEY COULD GET OUT SAME DAY (VS. NEXT DAY) AND INITIAL PRICE WAS LOWER, ALTHOUGH WITH ADDITIONAL CHARGE PER ANIMAL REMOVED. FIRST COMPANY WAS A FLAT RATE REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY ANIMALS REMOVED.
Description of Work: SET TRAP FOR SUSPECTED RACOON THAT HAD ENTERED ATTIC AREA BY DESTROYING ATTIC FAN; CHECKED TRAP DAILY (MON-FRI) AND REMOVED ONCE ANIMAL HAD BEEN CAPTURED. PUT PLASTIC BAG OVER OPENING TO DETECT ANY FURTHER ENTRIES AND WOULD RESET TRAP.
