We were very pleased at the furnace cleaning/checkup that was done.

The quoting process was very nice and they were professional for sure. The prices were expensive and I will get a quote again in the future.

Hoekstra was close by and they seemed to have a good record. I went with another company because I had a rebate with them.

We have used them for years and they can be a little expensive at times. They also like to come back often saying we need get something fixed or serviced and I tell them no. They are reliable, do a good job and nothing is missing when they leave or anything like that. They fix what they say they will fix. I will use them again in the future.

The experience with them was awesome. It was good. Their estimation was technically accurate. So there was technical accuracy. They measured the diametrics for the furnace and the air conditioner. I liked the professionalism of the staff. They identify the previous vendor’s problem and rectify it. They were knowledgeable about what they were doing. They do high quality jobs. The price is hard to gauge. They seemed a lot lesser than the other vendors who gave me estimates. They were definitely competitive. They were very responsive. I will use their services again in the future.

They did a good job. We have used them many times, but this was the first time they cleaned the furnace for us. What I did not like is that they did not show us what was wrong. I was with them always yet they offered to show us anything. I have used them for 40 years. Their pricing is high.

Price was what was originally quoted. Work men came on time on the date of installation. Workmen cleared the area prior to installation. Work was done in one day. The workmen thoroughly cleaned the area after they completed the job.

They charged $130 for cleaning, servicing, and maintenance. We had them come out two different times. It is a good company. I am pretty pleased with their service. We have one guy that we really and we requested him to come back again. He is very honest. They are reliable. We have had experiences with couple of other companies in the area and Hoekstra is better than others.

They had replugged something incorrect and they had to come back to do it right. They had actually blocked in water the water heater. I will use them in future.

Hoekstra was my Heating & Air Conditioning service provider for about 15 years and performed very well. In November 2009, they gave me an estimate for a new furnace, but I chose a different company to install the furnace due to a much better price. In October 2010, I asked Hoekstra to provide a estimate on a new air conditioner that would earn me the energy tax credit. Scott came by on 10-20-10 at 6pm and took measurements and made some notes. Since I hadn't eaten dinner yet I suggested that he contact me by phone or email with his proposal the next day. After 3 days, I still hadn't heard from Scott and decided to order the A/C unit from another company.

I called them out to our new house because the blower had stopped working on our furnace. The technician discovered that the furnace had a blown blower, an ignition problem, and a cracked heat exchanger. So, after consulting with their engineer (who came out later that same day) who checked what size furnace we needed and looked at our duct work. We scheduled an installation of a new furnace for the following day - they arrived early the next morning and we had a working new high-efficiency furnace before lunch. They did a great job. Hopefully, our old A/C can survive this summer since a new A/C would have brought the price to $8100.

This is the 2nd time Daniel has been over to work for us. He's a courteous young man and careful to leave his work areas clean. After the work was over he offered to go down the list of inspected areas to answer any questions I might have for him. I used a $20 coupon provided by Hoestra to save aboiut 20% on this job.

I have used them for a number of years and I?ve always been pleased with the quality of their work. They are very good about keeping their appointments and they show up on time. The workmen have always been very nice and I haven?t felt uncomfortable with them in my house. In the seventies, there were not many people who were doing air conditioning and I used Hoekstra to do it. They did a wonderful job with the installation and they put in extra air-return vents that most other people even now don?t have in their houses. I get $20 off because I am a good customer. I know that I can get the job done at less cost somewhere else but I do trust them and I?ve never had any problems with them. I?ve not had them work for me in an emergency but I feel that the service people would be available. Sometimes, I don?t even think about getting something cheaper someplace else because I do rely on them. They are a little more expensive, and the prices they quote for cleaning a furnace or getting the air conditioner ready for the heat is a little higher than their advertised prices. My air conditioners are in very good running order, and if you think about the long haul, their price has not been any more expensive. In fact, their price might actually have been cheaper because they give you value for money.

The job went very well; they came in and took care of everything, they made everything clean, nice and easy, and were in and out and gone without a problem. To begin with, they could not install by the time they were supposed to install for the rebate to come into effect, and so we called the company, and the person there said that he would take care of it immediately. He had to change some dates and numbers to make sure that we got the rebate. It was their problem, but they fixed it for us and still got us our rebate, which was very nice.

The technician was very informative and polite. He explained exactly what work he was going to perform before starting his work. When he noticed something out of the ordinary, rusting on the heat exchange cells, he called us down so that we could look at it for ourselves. He then went on to explain how our furnace was running hotter than it normally should, how the system was cycling more than it should be and why the rust he found was bad. Bottom line is that our 18 year old furnace will have to be replaced sooner rather than later. He made sure to clean the area thoroughly and then spent another 15 minutes with us discussing options for a new furnace. Based on this we made an appointment for their free estimate to discuss a new furnace and air conditioner for our home.

The crew showed up on time and finished by 3:30. The unit is working well. The crew was less professional than Dave who did the sales call and only one of the two guys were NATE certified. I felt a little uneasy about this. Dave said everyone was Nate certified. However, the crew installed the unit, cleaned up well after themselves, and the unit worked, so there were no issues. I would recommend them again. I also really like Dan at the other company, and I had used them before but there price was higher for an American Standard brand. However, I think I would have felt really good with Dan doing the install had I gone with them. It does make a difference having the salesperson also do the install since you will have rapport already established.

They were very straight forward with their diagnosis. They were very professional and there was no pressure to purchase a new A/C unit. Even though it is old they were honest enough to tell us it will be okay for a while longer.

We called to set up an appointment several weeks in advance and got one for a Monday afternoon at a specific time (not a time window). 2 hours later (around 4:30), they hadn't arrived, so we called them and were told that the technician was stuck at a different service call that was taking much longer than had been originally anticipated. We were told they would "try to find time to squeeze us in the following week." Needless to say, we were annoyed that we hadn't been told that they were running late. The following week, we got a two hour window. About an hour before that window, we got another call that they wouldn't be there until after that window. Once the technician arrived, however, the work was very thorough, he climbed around in our crawl space to access our humidifier (which apparently was put in a very bad location and hard to get to), identified the issues with the poor heating in our upstairs, and was able to fix it. We thought the pricing was very reasonable.

Excellent. Larry spent an hour doing his thorough job-also he offered some practical tips on home comfort systems.

The service was excellent, but customer service was terrible. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. The guy who performed the work was informative and very honest.

They are very professional and we are extremely impressed.
