Dan showed up when expected, gave estimates, performed the work, left about 1 hour 15 minutes after arrival.

Overall, I am very pleased with the service I received from Aleck Plumbing. I scheduled a 7am appointment and Mr. Dan Redican showed up at exactly 7am. Not only was he very punctual, but very friendly and very fast. The amount I was charged was $50 less than another estimate that I had gotten so I'd say the pricing was good as well. This was a fairly small job but I may in the future be renovating another home and probably will be in need of a plumber. I will definitely be contacting this company again. It's very refreshing to know that there are still companies that have excellent customer service. Thank you very much Angie's list for a very smooth experience and great reference!

We bought a new house, didn't know how to winterize the pool house properly and a pipe burst in December. Ron Modrak came out on an emergency weekend call. The emergency call was pricey, of course. ($300) But, Ron came back out in spring to fix the pipe. He also installed some valves inside to help with winterizing this year, replaced the gas pipe in the crawlspace, fixed another leak in the outdoor bathroom wall, re-installed the faucet to replace the one that burst during the initial leak and put in a faucet inside the house for us. ($300) He explained what we needed to do to winterize this year. He was absolutely fantastic! He does great work, knows what he is doing, is fair in charging, and is a pleasure to work with. The service is great. They call back promptly and are very easy to schedule work with. Prior to this we had them out to fix a kitchen faucet leak and install a water heater. Both experiences were perfect. This is the first plumbing company I can actually recommend!

Paul arrived on time and was very pleasant. He installed my kitchen faucet and replaced my garbage disposal. He also answered questions that I had about general plumbing issues, and he was very knowledgeable. I was very happy with the work, and would recommend this company.

After calling two other contractors in the area and not receiving calls back as promised, it was a welcome relief to speak with Aleck Plumbing. On my initial call, I was given a "best guess/worse case scenario" estimate since this was a relatively small job. I explained that I needed service soon in order to have my new dishwasher installed on Saturday. The appointment was scheduled for Friday morning and Paul arrived promptly at 7 AM sharp. He quickly assessed the job, discussed with me what was required, and was done in less than 30 minutes.

I used Angie's List to screen plumbing companies to check for price and availability. Aleck Plumbing did not come in with the lowest estimate but was able to get the job done on the day that I called. I was told that I would have someone at my house between 1 and 2 pm (I called for estimate and availability at 8 am). The plumber actually arrived around 4 pm. My only dislike was that I had to call to find out if they were still going to get the job done today. Getting it done on this particular day was necessary because I had to take the day off to get this repair completed. It would have been nice to get a followup call to let me know they were running behind.

We were specific as to what we wanted done and were told that there were a couple of plumbers in the company who would be able to do that type of work. We were told to expect a call, but never heard back.

Nancy took my phone call at about 11:30 am and said she would call me back to see if someone could come out that day. She was very helpful and supportive with my dilema. Ron Modrak from Aleck Plumbing arrived about 2:30 pm and proceeded to rod my sewer line using patience and experience because it was very tough going due to the massive tree roots involved. He is very knowledgeable and well-mannered and answered all my questions honestly and professionally. I highly recommend this company to anyone and plan to contact them for all my future plumbing services. Thank you Aleck Plumbing for fine, outstanding service!

The company installed the items in a timely matter. A few items were not available at move in. When they arrived they installed as requested. They were a few minor repairs that they did also. The rep was very courteous and professional.

THEY HAVE USUALLY BEEN GOOD. THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICEY THOUGH.

CHRIS LINDE CAME AN HOUR EARLY TO DO THE ESTIMATE (AFTER CALLING FIRST TO MAKE SURE IT WAS OKAY.) HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, LISTENED TO THE PROBLEM, AND SUGGESTED COURSE OF ACTION TO FIX THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. MOST OTHER COMPANIES HAD SAID IT WOULD TAKE TWO PLUMBERS ALL DAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. CHRIS FIXED IT IN LESS THAN THREE HOURS (FROM THE TIME HE ARRIVED TO DO THE ESTIMATE TO THE TIME HE LEFT). HE HAD ONE MORE PLUMBER COME AND HELP HIM FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME TO HELP HANDLE THE CAST IRON PIPE IN THE CEILING. HE WAS SMART, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL, EFFICIENT, AND COULD THINK CLEARLY. HE ALSO RESEATED THE TOILET UPSTAIRS AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF (HE ASKED FOR SOME CLEANER AND PAPER TOWEL.) HE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS, AND I FELT CONFIDENT THE JOB WAS BEING DONE CORRECTLY. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRICE AND THE WORK DONE. CHRIS OPERATED AT A COMPLETELY HIGHER CALIBER OF WORK COMPARED TO THE OTHER PLUMBERS WE'VE HAD OUT TO DO WORK.

DAN REDICAN CAME TO OUR HOME AND DID THE WORK. HE WAS GREAT. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL GETTING ME PRICING ON OTHER WORK I PLAN TO HAVE DONE IN THE FUTURE. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT DAYS FOR THE SERVICE CALL. I WISH I HAD KNOWN OF THEM EARLIER.
