This was my first time dealing with a contractor and I couldn't have been happier. Zach (and his crew of 2) were on time for everything (providing an estimate, starting the work, and the finish date). They were extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I had lots of questions before and during the work and they always took the time to answer and explain things. Zach's communication throughout the work was excellent; any issues or concerns were immediately brought to my attention. They kept the place clean and tidy throughout and were very considerate of everything and because of this we were inconvenienced very little even though half of our main floor was being tiled. The tile looks incredible. It is laid out beautifully and it looks better than I ever imagined. We are very, very happy with the quality of the work. I have a shower that is going to need some tiling in the next year or so and I will definitely be calling Zach again. He's got all my tile business from now on.

David was very polite. He finished the job in one day and cleaned up afterward.

The crew had to pull up 4 layers of old floor from the kitchen. Each layer consisted of 1/4 inch board and vinyl and lots of staples and nails through everything. We'd only expected there to be 2 layers, but it's an old house and you never know what your going to find until you get into it. The guys simply kept going until they got to the subfloor and then laid the backer board and tile and brought the floor to the original correct height. Dave was meticulous laying the tiles and it shows. The bath is small and the 2 layers of old board and flooring came up easily. Just as he did in the kitchen, Dave laid the tiles in a random pattern and it is nice to look at .. the 6 x 24 tiles do look like a wood floor. After the tiles went in, Travis did a nice job restoring the base trim and shoe. We ended up using new pieces and they look better than before. My wife and I are both more than pleased with the work. The guys went above and beyond and were friendly and pleasant to have in the house !!

I just can't express how happy I am with the whole experience with Suburban Tile and Flooring. Zach (owner) was able to come to my house and give me an estimate the same evening I called. He was very engaging and knowledgeable about flooring. Zach was very quick with responses to all my questions during the installation process. David the installer and his helper Nick were wonderful to work with. They worked tirelessly to make sure we were happy from start to finish. David even gave me a tutorial on how to lay laminate flooring. Impeccable work at a fair price. Give Suburban Tile and Flooring a try you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding and beautiful job. From the estimate to the install they did and wonderful job. They took pride in their work and treated it as if this was in their house. I will have two bedrooms I want to redo and I will being calling them back.

Zach and his team were great. Probably the best part of the experience was his responsive. Whether I had a question or comment he was able to respond to my calls or text messages that helped the project stay on track and complete within the allotted time frame. Zach responded quickly and each time I texted he responded fast. He was able to schedule my job within a week. Showed up early and offered to pick up something I forgot to purchase. Very reasonable price. He was willing to bill a la carte so I could have him do the floor and come back later for the trim. Friendly, respectful and responsive.

My experience with Suburban Tile And Flooring was excellent from start to finish. When Zach (owner) came out for the initial estimate I found him to have a very pleasant personality. His quote was very reasonable and after looking at a few other quotes I decided to go with Zach and I am so glad I did. He communicates very well via email and text. He answered all my questions and he offered to allow me to use his contractor's discount at one of the local tile retailers which I appreciated. I hired Suburban Tile And Flooring to remove and re-tile the existing ceramic tile floor in my kitchen. I supplied the tile and grout and Zach supplied all of the other material (underlayment and thin set). Zach and his crew arrived on time and ready to work each day. They did an excellent job of removing the existing floor and underlayment and I can't say enough about the beautiful work they did installing my new ceramic tile floor. I wouldn't hesitate to use Zach again and I would recommend that you give Suburban tile and flooring a try also.

From the initial point of contact through completion, Zach was very responsive and was great about communicating. We ran into a few unexpected challenges along the way, but Zach was flexible and helped make sure we reached a good outcome. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the work that was done and the work style. I will be using Suburban Tile again for other future projects.

Zach gave me an estimate over the phone for installation of laminate in my basement. He asked me over the phone how much square footage was involved and based on my calculation of 1,200 square feet, Zach told me it would cost me $1.50 per square feet or 1,800 for the entire basement. As Zach had very good reviews on Angie's List, I asked him to send me an official quote in an email, which he promptly did and we agreed to an installation date. I also asked him if he could pick up the 70 boxes of laminate from Costco, which he agreed to do for $50 extra (I thought that was fair). Zach brought someone else with him the day before installation to pick up the laminate and came in the following day at the promised time. Although he estimated it would take him a day & half, he & his crew of three worked non-stop on the Saturday and were able to complete the job in one day. I though he did a great job, was prompt, courteous, very pleasant to deal with and professional. I did not use him for baseboard & shoe as I had already given that contract to my painter.

Zach showed up on the day we arranged and did the floor leveling part of the work, and then returned the next day with his crew (as planned) and laid all of the tile. The floor came out looking better than expected, all of the trim work was done perfectly, and the crew was kind, quick, clean and courteous. I'm very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy that Zach expressed through the process, and am equally pleased with the result of the project. I would definitely refer Zach to anyone I know looking for this kind of help.

I'm a new Angie's list member and couldn't pass the opportunity to give Suburban Tile & Flooring an A rating. Zach just completed his second project for me this past July. He handled the tile of my new shower along with installing the flooring as part of my full master bathroom remodel. I had used Zach before when I owned a townhome and he installed laminate flooring throughout the first floor. What I like about working with him is that he's a down to earth guy who doesn't try to sell me on anything that I don't need. He listens to what I want done, will make recommendations and then gets to work. He's prompt, honest and gets the job done well, on time and with no outside the budget surprises. I've referred him to friends and family who are also pleased with his work and plan on using him again when I replace the flooring throughout the first floor of my new home.

They scheduled an appointment for an unusual time on a Saturday this weekend. However they had great reviews. However further after leaving my three dogs in cages after an hour and half, we gave up. No call, no message means no chance.

We were able to choose the tile. They seemed reputable and we got a quote from them that we thought was reasonable. The work was great. We had a major problem though, he may have stolen something from the house. They claim they did not. We had a box of several hundred DVDs that disappeared while they were working there. I talked to the owner and at first he was mad at me for accusing them and then called back to apologize. They smoked cigarettes and threw the butts around, but that is a minor thing. The quality of work was very good.

Zach responding quickly to our call and in providing a quote, was prompt and did wonderful work. We plan to do further home improvements with him in the future. We strongly recommend him to others.

I initially called Zach to get an estimate for our job. He was able to arrange his schedule to come over that afternoon to do the estimate. He emailed the estimate that evening. We decided to go with Zach because his cost was reasonable and was also able to do the work at the time that we needed. On the day of installation, Zach and his helper showed up on time and got started right away. We ran into a couple issues after the old tile was removed. Zach communicated the issues to me and made recommendations that would rectify the problem. An additional cost was incurred but I felt it was reasonable and was necessary for a successful project. Everything turned out great in the end. We will definitely consider Suburban Tile for future tile work.

My experience with Suburban Tile And Flooring was fantastic! I called Zach and left a message regarding the tile job I was looking to have completed. He called back within a few hours and made an appointment to come over the next morning to view the job and give an estimate. Zach was on time and brought his associate Randy. They reviewed the work area, checked the materials and got a full sense for the job. I had an estimate in writing via email by the end of day and fortunately for me due to a delay in a previously scheduled job Zach was able to start the work the next day! Zach and Randy showed up early or on time every day of the job. They worked hard and quickly but with quality and attention to detail. Zach was conscientious about checking in with me when any questions of design plan arose, if any challenges changed a plan, or just to ensure that proper expectations were set. He was knowledgeable and concerned about making sure I was more than satisfied with the work performed. The shower in the bathroom was not your standard tile job. It involved laying four different styles of travertine marble, a feature strip of glass & travertine mosaic, and a built in niche with a glass shelf and tile picture framing. It turned out beautifully! I will certainly hire Zach again for my next tile or flooring project!

Zach Florey and his company Suburban Tile and Flooring is very reliable, personable and they offer a very professional job for a reasonable price. The crew is tidy, punctual and they do an awesome job. We are very happy with the work they did in both bathrooms and the fireplace is beautiful and has received many compliments.
