We are so pleased! From the beginning to the end of both jobs Zach and his team were fantastic. Zach provided us with details of the kind of tile to purchase so we were ready when they were ready to begin. It was a tough job removing kitchen tile but they did it! Cleaned up the mess each day and apprised of what would happen next. New floor is stunning! Then did a bathroom remodel which is gorgeous. Gone is the outdated bathtub and tile and now with beautiful tile and glass inlays. Zach has many contacts and we used American Plumbing (Doug Florey) for all the plumbing needs. I would highly recommend you give them a call!

I had Zach and crew demo and re-tile 2 bathrooms in a rental house I am remodeling. They did a GREAT job. Zach is very responsive, professional and has fair prices. He was always on time and stuck to the schedule. He offered great suggestions and ideas for my bathrooms. He left the job site clean and his tile work is excellent. He would be my first choice for my next tile and flooring job.

It went okay. My lesson on this job was you can't always let a contractor's experience convince you that you don't know what's best. I was fairly certain that we needed to replace our subfloor before doing the tile. Zach didn't think that was necessary. Now we have a wavy floor that creaks at points (it was tiled before and didn't creak in these places). The demo was a mess. I expected that in the kitchen. However, our subfloor is old floor planks, not OSB/plywood. So, as they demoed the old tile floor, it scattered debris into our basement. We had to clean it multiple times. You could see through the floor planks, so I know they had to see that this was happening, but no offers/recommendations were made on how to address or clean up. The tile install went fine. However, they chipped out excess mortar before grouting the backsplash. When they did this, they chipped several tiles. They replaced most, but there are still one or two remaining. They also missed a tile around our light fixture. The transitions to our wood floor did not go well. Our previous tile floor was level with the wood floor and we wanted to try and maintain that. Not only did they not end up getting the tile and wood flush, but they didn't communicate clearly on the plans for transition strips. We couldn't coordinate a time for them to come back, so we ended up buying our own transition strips and installing ourselves. Because the floor wasn't even level along the length of the transition, we had to modify a transition strip to get it to sit level along the length of the floor. Zach may do good work, but we barely saw him. Other lesson learned, don't forget to ask who will actually be on site doing the work.

Zach and his team were on time as scheduled. They had to remove all tile and underlay. He did an excellent job leveling our hallway. The tile looks great and the as does the back-splash. He returned promptly to take care of a few trim pieces and touch ups.

- Contacted Zach on 12/28/17 for an estimate. - He visited on 01/03/18. - Got a written estimate on 01/12/18 which was very competitive and the most serious/professional I received among 9 contractors. - The job took about 2.5 days to complete and the end result was excellent. Zach and his team are very skilled in their trade and they performed a great quality job. They protected/cleaned the premises appropriately and managed to only use the room that was undergoing the flooring installation.

Travis and Jason were punctual,courteous and very professional. The job they did was amazing. I at the last minute changed the design of how I wanted the tile laid from a basic square to a diamond pattern. This change required for them to have to go out and purchase more tile and for them to come back a second day. This adjustment was met without hesitation,with enthusiasm and the reassurance that my choice would indeed look much better. The work area was left clean and tidy. Even the work area outside where all the tile was being cut was left cleaner than it was before they came. I was very impressed! The end result looks Amazing!! When having initial conversations with Zach, the company owner he was very patient in explaining the different choices I could go with and when I would become overwhelmed with all of the choices he would walk me through each step, narrow it down to a few choices and explain every detail so that I could then make an informed decision. The knowledge and professionalism of these 3 men was very very impressive. I am so pleased with this company that I am having them come back in a month or so to do the remodel of both of my bathrooms as well as replace the flooring in my foyer and stairs. Excellent service all around. Team was very professional and really put me at ease with having them do the work and they provided top quality work and service. The owner of the company was especially courteous and professional to deal with which made the whole process run that much more smoothly. If I could give suburban Tile no stars I would. We hired them to complete a large tile job, upon completion we noticed a lot of tiles had absolutely no grout and his crew didn’t clean up properly so the tiles were left with some of the worst grout haze stains I have ever seen! I called zack and provided photos of the situation, he responded by sending Travis out to “take care of it”. Travis tried his best but accomplished nothing. Travis told me that it was the installers mistake and that with this kind of grout they should have cleaned up immediately before anything set in. I continued to try and contact Zack regarding his installers mess but he stopped answering my calls and texts. I assume since he was paid he had no need to try and fix this mess! Do not hire this company, if you do don’t pay till you are fully satisfied with your projects. Worst tile company I have ever dealt with!!!!! The pictures I provided are just a few of the grout haze stains. I’ve hired multiple companies trying to get rid of this but it’s not coming off.

The gentlemen were on time clean and neat. They had to work with us because of having a dog and family who needed to get in and out of the house. So they tiled half the floor at a time so I was very happy

We needed to update our 1970s house, and Zach and crew were nothing short of amazing. He was responsive and professional, and he explained everything in detail without making me feel stupid (as a woman, that’s a HUGE plus). The entire crew worked quickly and efficiently. The work they did was beautiful, and everyone who comes in comments on the transformation. To top it off, his pricing is quite reasonable. He even fit us in for our backsplash when we decided last minute to sell, and I look forward to having him install my dream shower in our new house! To top all of it off, he is just a nice human being, and I liked working with him more than any other contractor we have ever used.

We're super pleased with the work that Suburban Tile did for us. Before the job, they were very helpful in helping to explain what we needed to buy as far as tile and supplies. During the install, the tilers were careful to treat our home with respect and clean up after the job. There were a few tiles that we asked to have replaced and they offered to come out and additional day to take care of our concerns and make sure we were satisfied customers. We HIGHLY recommend Suburban Tile and Flooring.

The demo was not easy and he did a good job of containing the mess and not damaging the surrounding wood floors. He was very cooperative working with me to do the installation to accommodate my needs.

Went very well, on time too. Zach was get to work with and the installers were nice and made sure to do a great job and make the home as livable as possible during the week of work.

Zach is the greatest guy to work with. Got back to me on everything quickly, made some great recommendations and delivered on everything he said he was going to do. His entire crew was friendly and completely respectable while my family lived in the house through the project. They did such a great job, I hired them again just four months later to do a small tile project for the hotel I manage. Again, everything went great. They'll always be my choice for any type of tile or flooring job.

It was great. Zach came out with an individualized quote and let me pick out the exact tiles I wanted to use. He even walked me through, via phone, the purchase process while I was at the store. The work wrapped up in 4 days. Zach and his team were timely and the work they provided was truly beautiful.

Excellent. Zach and his team get an A++++ for their job. Zach came and gave us an accurate and detailed estimate, advised us about the tile we should get and was quick to schedule us in. His team removed the old carpet and tiles and replaced them with new ones. They also updated the old exposed brick fireplace, which now has a modern upscale look. All in all a very professional, polite and nice to work with team. After finishing the job they cleaned up and scheduled a second visit for minor repairs and corrections. Special mention for Zach's estimate skills. We had no bad or unexpected surprises. I really only have a positive impression. So positive I hired them on the spot to change the floors upstairs and update our master bathroom.

Zach was great! Did a beautiful job and was very responsive via Angie's List, text and email. They completed the job in one day and at a very fair price.

Tiling the basement floor went well but when it came to tiling the stairs there was a problem. One worker left at quitting time (5:30 p.m.) while the other worker stayed to finish. I asked the worker twice when would he be finished. He finally left at 8:30 p.m. but he did not clean the basement or the garage which had six day’s of pallets, plastic wrappings, boxes from the tiles and all the cut tiles that was left all over the floor (I have the pictures to prove it). The next morning when I looked at the work for the stairs there were large gaps at the corners and the edges not properly grouted. I forward the photos to Zach to express my dissatisfaction at the work. Zach sent a different person to complete/correct the work on the stairs. There was no apology, no follow up as to whether I was satisfied nor any compensation for my cleaning the basement or the garage.
