Zach and his crew were professional, dealt with the cracks, skim coated the floor, and laid the tile with virtually no lippage between tiles even though the floor was sloped in several different directions. Great job and great crew

Look no further for your flooring contractor! Working with Zach Florey and the Suburban Tile & Flooring crew could not have gone better. They are skilled experts when it comes to floors! They are professional, transparent, trustworthy, and efficient. I am so glad I decided to use Suburban Tile for my flooring. Suburban Tile and Flooring removed all the existing flooring in my house. Upon removal, they determined some of my subflooring was in extremely poor condition, so there was extensive rebuilding and repair work that needed to be done. Zach kept in contact with me regularly throughout the project, always sure to let me know how things were coming along and any additional work incurred due to the poor condition of my subfloors. He clearly explained the necessary repairs and how he was going to do them. I really appreciated how honest Zach was and how much he educated me about my own house - things I never would have known otherwise. Suburban Tile did a really amazing job installing a Nuheat mat and ceramic tile in my family room, ceramic tile in the kitchen and dining area, and pre-finished hardwood floors throughout the rest of the house (living room, hall, three bedrooms). It looks beautiful. Their craftsmanship is remarkable! It was also very comforting to have such a trustworthy crew doing the work. Most days, I never saw them. I left for work before they arrived and came home after they were gone for the day. I had no problem leaving my key with them and I knew that they'd call if any issues came up as they worked. I have more than just new floors in my house now. Thanks to Suburban Tile and Flooring, I am literally standing on more solid ground. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend the crew!

Arrived on time for quote and work. Installation wasn't a normal job, but they did a great job on the work, and paid special attention to the details necessary in tile work.

When I called for an estimate my call was returned the same day. Zack was out n 2 days to give me an estimate. He was professional & very helpful in the tile selection process. I had a lot of questions & he was willing to take the time to answer all of them. Zack arrived on time & completed the job in a timely manner. To say he did an excellent job is an understatement. The room is beautiful. I would hire this company again . They do excellent work & are reliable . If you are looking to update your home this is the company to call. They are honest,reliable and do an amazing job.

Within the first hour and a half, the owner said he needed another $120 for leveling mix to make the job go faster. I initially ok'd and then I insisted it be removed from the final invoice. Second day, owner started to give me pricing on grout with boost additive. When I showed him on his quote that it was already included, he said he never includes grout in his quote. He said it was a mixup. Quote specifically states that they would only use Mapei mortar and grout. They used Versabond as a mortar. The owner claimed it is what they used. I showed him a picture of Versabond LFT from Home Depot for $16.17 per 50 pound bag with a qty of 20 purchased. The best price we could find for the Mapei LFT was $29.95 per 50 pound bag. The owner claimed he paid $21.00 for Versabond. They used 42 bags of Versabond on the job. The owner was indifferent. The difference in price per 50 pound bag is $13.78. He offered to take off $2.00 a bag off which would total $84.00. After that I asked him to make it right or we will advise Angie's on how exactly the job went. He refused to make it right. He was unaware what his web page on Angie's list was. He said he was unaware that it said senior discount ask owner. The job itself looks good and cleanup was good. The total cost of this job was $13,439.10.

Zach was responsive from the start and set up a few estimate without issue. I got quotes from 2 other companies and the others were shady or never got back to me. Zach gave a fair and detailed quote. I asked many questions via email prior to install & Zach was always quick to respond. Zach referred is to Prosource to buy tile and we set up install later in the month. Zach and a helper arrived at 8am each day and completed the work in 3 days total. We were very happy with the results!

Hands down the absolute best work that I've ever had completed by a contractor at my home. Zach's crew (David and Lawrence) installed slate tile in our family room. Let me say that I am very picky and have exceptionally high standards. Their work exceeded my expectations in all regards. These gentlemen take a great deal of pride in their workmanship and it shows through in the final product. The installed tile is beautiful. David is like an artist - he took time to individually select tiles (the color of the slate tile varies a great deal) to create a beautiful mosaic. My original intent was just to tile this one room, but when I saw the exceptional quality of their work, I immediately decided to have them put travertine in my living room. Let me note that Zach came to my home on his free time and helped me select the color for the stone (to coordinate w/ a stone fireplace in the room). Again, the work was exceptional!! The hand-created a beautiful step-down to the room and again it is exceptional. These guys are a delight to work with-- on time, clean up, respectful, etc etc etc! Oh yes.... during the 2nd project, I asked them to create a one-of-a-kind back-splash for my kitchen with the left over travertine and they did that as well!! I love my new home :) If you are looking for tile installers-- look no further, you've found your guys!!

The three man crew removed carpeting, old laminate flooring and tile flooring while moving numerous pieces of furniture and appliances during demo and install. They also found a problem with my cabinet base dry rotted/ water damaged and fixed my cabinet base while making a airflow path for the vent underneath the kitchen cabinet that was not their before.

We contacted Suburban Tile & Flooring for an estimate for installing laminate flooring. Zach contacted us very quickly and scheduled a time to do the estimate. Zach and Lawrence arrived at the scheduled time and both were extremely professional. Zach emailed us the estimate quickly, and we felt it was a fair price and scheduled the install. The crew arrived on time and consisted of three folks-David, Brian, and Travis. Professional, friendly, and personable are three words to describe them. David listened to my questions, and explained what he would be doing. He asked our input throughout the project to ensure our satisfaction. The real test was when my wife inspected the finished work and was very happy. I truly can't say enough about all of the folks that I had contact with during this process. I highly recommend Suburban Tile & Flooring.

This is my second time using Zach so that will speak to my overall opinion. I am certain it will not be the last time either. Each time he has had the best quoted price and he does good work. He showed up with an assistant and finished earlier than I expected. He is pleasant and willing to do as much or as little as you ask of him. You will not find anyone that trys harder to satisfy. This was a small job and he didn't act uninterested in it. He cleans up after finishing so you won't have to. He keeps in touch and shows up punctually. We are quite happy with the finished product and the whole experience.

They had to first remove the shoe molding, the old ceramic tile, and the plywood underlayment. This took a day and a half and was hard and messy work. Then they installed approximately 400 sq. ft. of cement board underlayment and 12" x 24" porcelain tile in our kitchen and bathroom. Next they installed a travertine backsplash in our kitchen . Finally they grouted the tile and replaced the shoe molding . The whole job took 4 days. Everything went smoothly and it all looks great. They did a very professional job. Zach's price was very fair and he was a pleasure to work with .

Zach and team did a great job in working through the tile installation (on schedule, worked the job till it was done, and delivered quality work). They were also very understanding when there were some delays due to plumbing activity. Highly recommended!!

They did an amazing job of repairing a very old and previously poorly done bathroom wall tile area. You can hardly tell there was a repair. It was a very small job that had to be finished before other repairs could be started. Zach fit me in and finished it in the time frame I requested. He always showed up exactly at the scheduled time. I would definitely call Suburban Tile for any future tile jobs.

Zach and his crew did a great job installing the tile! They had to remove two layers of old flooring/carpeting to get to the sub-floor before they could install our tile. We are so happy with the results! They started exactly on time and completed on time. Then they came back after the grout had cured and sealed it for us. Zach also provided some good advice on grout color and types which we appreciated. Thanks so much for all of your efforts. Very easy to work with! We will be using Suburban Tile and Flooring again for other projects.
