Description of Work: The cleaning person for Anna's maids arrived right on time. She got to work immediately and cleaned my home beautifully and thoroughly from top to bottom. She finished right on time, and I made arrangements for her to return in a couple of weeks. I will definitely use Anna's maids to clean my home in the future.

Description of Work: This was the first time I had ever used a cleaning service. The first time Anna's Maids came, the two women did a splendid job. I was very happy so I had them come back a month later. I wanted the same two women, but sadly they left the company for personal reasons. I was very disappointed but thought I would give the second group a chance. My experience with the second group was that the experienced worker was very good, but the second women, I felt was either sick, hungover or on something? I had to instruct her 3 times on how I wanted the toilets cleaned and after the third time I gave up. She just was not getting it! I complained to the people that contacted me on not only the toilets but the kitchen and both bathrooms had not been sufficiently cleaned. (Remember, I was very happy with the first group) The contact said they would send out someone to clean up what had not been done to my expectations, but I had already done most of it already. The Anna's Maids contact offered me $20 off my next 2 hour and 2 maids. I thought this insufficient. Then I said, have someone come to redo the tub and they said I could have 2 maids for one hour. Well, I had one of the maids redo both bathrooms and the second maid cleaned my refrigerator. They did a good job, but after they left, I felt the toilet was not clean! All of the women that come out (except the one that was sick) have been supper sweet and accommodating. My experience with Anna's Maids is that a quality and experienced worker comes with a less experienced worker. The experienced worker also has better English speaking skills.I really have mixed feeling about Anna's Maids. The ideal would be for two experienced maids to come that have been well trained. The company also had very poor communication skills between their staff (not the maids). I'm going to try another group and see the difference or hire a independent person free of a company that has been recommended by my friends. | |

Description of Work: When I first contacted Anna Maids, I asked to use the coupon for 9 hours of cleaning, however I was told that since I wanted a move-out clean, I would have to order that service and not use the coupon offered through Angie's list. I was told that the move out clean included windows, all appliances cleaned and fireplace cleaned. Two cleaners showed up for 4 hours, and did a regular clean, not was was represented, and even missed one bathroom entirely. They also used all my cleaning supplies and 8 rolls of my paper towel. I had to reclean throughout the house after they left - they left dust webs on the walls and ceilings, did not clean window sills or trim edges, etc. Essentially I paid "move out" clean price for a regular clean that my former maid service would have done for 125.00

Description of Work: They clean my house every other week and do an excellent job. More thorough than any other cleaning service that I have used.

Description of Work: They let us know they would be an hour late twenty minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. This was fine. They came five to ten minutes later than that time. Once at our house, they were scheduled to stay for 9 hours (what we paid for). At the 8 hour mark, they told us they were all done. We had to ask them to wipe off the island in our kitchen. It is six feet long so very hard to miss. They left the shower just as dirty but said that was as clean as it was going to get. We hired a different cleaning lady a couple weeks later who left it sparkling! The two ladies were very nice but I definitely would never use this company again.

Description of Work: They were late. They were mediocre cleaners at best. They spoke no English. Oh, but they did show me a picture of them on my couch with my dog (while they were not cleaning).

Description of Work: These girls did a fine job. They were friendly and conscientious, worked hard, got my mother-in-law's house clean. The only troubles were 1) they arrived very early, before I had arrived, 2) and they spoke very little English. My mother-in-law is very hard of hearing and does not speak clearly, so all of them had quite a time trying to understand each other until I showed up and was able to give instructions on just what to clean and what to leave (due to various circumstances, we wanted only certain rooms cleaned). We have scheduled another clean with them -- I have asked that they come at the scheduled time this time. So I gave them a B on punctuality not because they were late, but because they were quite a bit too early.
