Anna's Maids

I used Anna's Professional Cleaning to clean our home once a month. They do a great job and leave our house in perfect condition. Our nanny, 3 yr old and 8 month old are also at home and this is no problem whatsoever. The ladies are always awesome with my kids. They can do the job in less than half the time as the other company I used (must be skill and experience that makes the difference) and just as well if not better as far as I can tell. I'm a bit annoyed that I paid over $300 to that other cleaning company when Anna's can do the job better for more than half the price! Also, if you need to them to pay attention to anything in particular, just let them know. I do have to say that I use another cleaning company now because the ladies Anna's sent were different each time. This is not their fault because I only use them on a monthly basis. I'm sure if we used them weekly we could get the same crew regularly. So when my current cleaning couple takes a vacation, Anna's would be my first call.

They're very good and professional. They do a good job. If I ever had the slightest bit of problem with it I left a note or talked to Agnes when she called to schedule and it was all taken care of the next time, no harm no foul and everything was nice. So they did a great job for us. When I came home it looked like somebody had been there and that things had been tidied up and it smelled good. I just wish I could've paid with my credit card because then I always had to remember to leave a check.

They clean our house every week. The price is reasonable. We found them on Angie's List and we liked their ratings. They have been great. They are easy to get a hold of. When we call them they always call us back.

Two team members came to do the cleaning. I think they did a better than average job. They came when the appointment was set for and worked in a timely manner. I would recommend them.

It was good overall and I have no complaints. They were a little bit late, but that was because they had some trouble finding the address. They were very professional. They worked quickly and finished in 2 hours. They apologized for being late and gave me a Starbucks gift card.

The gals that were here were very nice. They were quiet and efficient and just went about their work. They were easy to have in the house while I was there. I liked them so much that I called and asked if I could have the same people come out in 2 weeks, and they said yes, so I will be using them again. The person answering the phones was very responsive in calling me back to set up an appointment. I was very pleased with them.

EXCELLENT job, I got this service for my mother for her holiday company and she is VERY particular. She has not been satisfied with several cleaning services in the past, but said they did an "awesome" job. They washed everything for her, were very kind and polite, would not let her go up the stairs to get them any supplies (she's a senior citizen), she said she "didn't think anyone knew how to clean like this anymore". She's extremely happy with their work!

She doesn't service my area but was willing to come here for me. I ended up canceling the appointment for the time being.

The actual cleaning was very good, very detailed and comprehensive. I was pleased at the actual work performed. However, getting an appointment set up was a bit more challenging. I work as a consultant and am not always near a phone during the day. If I would leave a message with Anna's to set up an initial cleaning appointment, it would be returned, but sometimes not always on the same day. It seemed to me someone was available at the work number, but only in the morning hours. Also, I was initially quoted a price of $90, but when the cleaning was completed, I was charged $95. I was not sure if this was due to my condo being mostly hardwood floors or what might have led to the increase. When the girls arrived, they handed me an envelope with a thank you letter, a $5 Starbucks gift card and business cards. Also, when I made the cleaning appointment and asked about the one-time $10 credit for first time customers, I was told they weren't sure if that offer was still active, they'd have to check with their boss. Overall, the actual cleaning is very good, dealing with the office, not so much. My next step will be to set up regular dates for cleaning, hopefully all this administrative hassle is the last I'll have.

It started off well. I left a message on a Saturday, and Monday morning my call was returned. I explained to the person booking the appointment that I needed a 3 bedroom apartment cleaned after a tenant moved-out, and before my new tenant moved-in on Nov 1st. I set up the appointment for 11:00 AM on October 31st, 2008. On the phone, we went over exactly what I needed. I told them that the apartment needed a thorough cleaning, to include: top, inside and fronts of kitchen cabinets and drawers, appliances, blinds and windows. I was told what I needed was a "deep cleaning", and the price was $20 per hour, per person. It would include all cleaning supplies, and I would get two cleaning people. Well, on the 31st, I did get two people, but they came with a vacuum cleaner and one small bag of cleaning supplies. When I went over with them what I needed done and showed them how to pull the windows inside to clean them, they seemed surprised that I expected the windows cleaned. In fact, they had no supplies to clean the windows. I had to run to the store and buy them paper towels and Windex. After 3 hours, I received a call that they were finished. I didn't expect much because 3 hours is not enough to do a thorough job. But I got even less than I thought. They missed so much it's hard to list it all. The dishwasher still had encrusted food on the top rim. There were crumbs and gunk in all the kitchen drawers. The kitchen cabinet that held the slide-out garbage cans was not even touched. So it held all kinds of stuff in the bottom of it. Not to mention there was no attempt to clean either of the plastic garbage cans. I would have gladly paid for 6 hours of work, if it would have been a thorough cleaning. I ended up having to do everything that they missed, in order to be ready for the move-in the following day.

Great. They did a fine job. Very hard workers. Very polite and cleaned all the rooms that I needed them to (kitchen and bathroom). I will definitely hire them again when I need rooms cleaned.

I called Anna's cleaning and immediately got someone on the phone. We were able to schedule right away and she worked with me on my first appointment. The two ladies showed up right on time and got to work immediately. They were very, very nice and did a wonderful job cleaning my home. They needed to stay longer than anticipated, but told me that after and hour and made sure that was OK with me and told me what the difference would be. I didn't have all the supplies that they needed, but they improvised and left me a list of what I needed for the next cleaning. They will clean my home again for sure!!!

Anna's did a great job for us. I called on short notice, but Anna's was able to get two people out to my house the next morning to clean for 3.5 hours. The two arrived early in the morning, arrived when they said they would, got right to work and worked non-stop. I was very pleased with their work and hope to use them again. The amount of work that was done in that time was great and the price was very reasonable ($36.00 per hour for two hard-working cleaners) plus a $5.00 travel charge (I live in the suburbs). Anna's used my cleaning products which was fine with me-indeed, that was my preference-but I think that they can bring their own if necessary. I look forward to using them again soon.

We now have Anna's cleaning for us on a regular basis. They continue to be very professional and to do an excellent job. When we have called to add additional cleaning days, they have aways made an effort to accommodate us. They leave our house fresh, clean and in order.

Two-person cleaning team arrived at designated time. Cleaned for four hours. Did thorough dusting and vacuuming.

We are very pleased with Anna's Professional Cleaning service. Anna was very prompt in returning my initial call. She was able to schedule people (2 incredibly hard working women) to come within a few days. We were very pleased with their cleaning--floors were cleaned by hand, furniture/area under furniture was thoroughly dusted/vacuumed, etc. These women worked very hard for nearly 4 hours! They continue to do a fantastic job. We are very pleased. Anna is also very good about calling to confirm that people are coming the day prior, and if they are running a few minutes late, she calls to let you know--she runs a tight ship! She has also been very flexible in terms of scheduling--our crew shows up at 7:30 a.m.. We will continue to use Anna.

They have a tendency to arrive early. So be very careful with your appointment times. Their cleaning is very good. I am very comfortable having them in my home.

My wife asked them to clean the inside of the refrigerator, and they stated that they do not do that service and walked out leaving my wife and I to find another cleaning company.

I was able to speak with Anna on the phone and get a quote just by letting her know the size of our building and how often we wanted the service to clean (just once a month). She said that it would take a few weeks before she could have a team start, but was able to give me a date and accommodate my request to have an early 8am initial visit so I could meet the crew, show them around and give them a key, and still get to work. The two woman crew was right on time. I showed them the work to be done, which consisted of vacuuming two 3-story flights of stairs, dusting, sweeping & mopping the foyer areas, cleaning the windows in the lower hallway doors, emptying garbage cans and wiping down the washers & dryers in the laundry area. Anna had given me a quote of $18.00 an hour plus a $5 travel fee, and expected the job to take 3 1/2 hours (x 2 workers) for the initial visit, then 2 1/2 hours (x 2 workers) for each subsequent visit. I have not been around during their visits to see how long it actually takes them, but they have done a good job of cleaning. The only downside is that the two women who come to our building both speak Polish, and only understand a little English. They are fine when you are talking or gesturing to what you want cleaned, but on the first visit while I was showing them around we received notification from the City that they had some sewer work to do in the area and would be turning the water off in an hour. I wanted to tell them to clean the floors and do anything requiring water first, but I was not able to communicate this to them. However, when I couldn't get my point across they called Anna on her cell phone, and I was able to tell Anna what was transpiring and then she was able to tell her workers, so it was not a big issue. It would be nice to be able to leave notes for them, but if I really needed to tell them something I would just have to call Anna to relay the message. They have done a good job, and I feel comfortable giving them a key to the building so they can come on their own. Residents in our building have commented that they do a much better job cleaning than our last service.

The ladies came on time. Bozena introduced herself and her co-worker Renate. I showed the ladies around the house discussing what I wished to have done. I then showed them my cleaning supplies. I might have over bought on cleaning supplies but I wanted the ladies to have what they needed to do a good job. After that, I went back into my home office and continued to work. The ladies started on the top floor and worked down. Working as a team. They never took a break and worked fast but efficient. When they were through Bozena came to get me. I was amazed at what magic they worked in my house. My house looks so nice, that I'm not sure I want to let my daughter or husband back in to mess things up!

We are very picky and skeptical about cleaning services. They were on time, thorough, friendly, and high quality. The cleaning is very detailed. They moved small items especially in the kitchen (cleaned the insides of the toaster oven and microwave, the outside of the garbage can, soap dishes, and other items that are not often cleaned). They cleaned the baseboards, hand washed the floor and worked very hard. Price is great for the work done. Very good job, very satisfied customer. I highly recommend them.

I would say that we are very happy with them. They do a good job in getting the house clean. They are the best that we have done business with. We will definitely continue to use them.

I've been using Anna's for a few months and in general I'm satisfied. My first cleaning went the best. The two people worked very hard and cleaned my 2000 SF home in three hours. I remember thinking that it was worth every penny. Blinds and curtains were dusted. They wiped down the baseboard and banister of the stairs. Since then I feel they are not working as hard or fast. Maybe this is because there is less work to do. Once they took cell phone calls and rested during the cleaning. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has rough days now and then and maybe it was an emergency call.

It was actually pretty good. There were a few things we found in the end that were not quite done. The manager tried to fit us in their schedule. Overall we were pretty satisfied.

I started using this service 1 month ago. I signed up for bi-weekly cleanings and have had two so far. Two women come as a team, and they are on-time, professional and hard-working. The same women come each time. They do a fantastic job - our house is about 3700 sq. ft. plus a full finished basement with an in-law arrangement. It is a lot of house to clean and they work hard the whole time they are here.
