Anna's Maids

We had been a customer of Anna's Professional Cleaning for several years. Several months ago the team leader of the two person crew that had been cleaning our home stopped working with Anna's Professional Cleaning. Subsequently we had various different crews come to our house and provide us steadily declining service. Areas were missed in our home, and some things were broken. In addition, it was clear that the crew members spoke very little English. Thus, communication was at times problematic and we were not always sure that they understood instructions. Once they lost our trust as a customer, we finally decided to terminate them and requested that they return our house key either by delivering the key in person to us or sending it via a courier with tracking (e.g., FedEx or UPS). Agnes (the primary contact when we called Anna's Professional Cleaning) said they would return our house key using one of these methods, but after a couple of months and two calls to them about this issue, we have not received our house key. April 28, 2011, we received a call from Agnes saying that they sent our house key to the wrong address, and it was returned to them; and she was now calling to confirm our address so she could resend the key to us by courier with a tracking service. We found her question rather odd given that we've been a customer for several years and their crew was coming to our house during that time. We provided her our address but we never received our house key from Anna's Professional Cleaning service. We do not know if management of this company has changed and didn't advise us, but we cannot in good faith recommend them.

The employees arrived on time, know how to organize their work and did an excellent job. There were some questions I had and working with the scheduler was a pleasure.

This is the second time they have come to clean my house and I have been very happy with the results. Agnes is great with scheduling and they called me the day before my scheduled day to ensure everything was okay. Everything was done the way i would do it. They work quickly and efficiently and I will be utilizing and recommending their service from now on.

The workers were prompt, freindly and thorough. I will make this a regular service.

Agnes was very helpful in explaining their pricing and scope of services, and scheduled a cleaning appointment at my convenience within a week of my call. She also came by during the first appointment to meet me, and to make sure the work was being done to my satisfaction. The cleaning crew was friendly, quiet, and efficient, and followed directions to the letter. They showed up exactly on time, did a great job, and finished within the two-and-a-half hour time frame that Agnes had estimated. The two ladies on the crew spoke good enough English to have no problem communicating with me and understanding the requests I made. I was very pleased with the whole experience and intend to use this company on a regular basis.

They were pretty average. They wanted to know if I could assist them with parking. I didn't think that as a client that was my responsibility, so that was negative. They only come for a minimum of 2 hours. The initial rate was $98.00 for those 2 hours. Based on my work, they didn't have any possibility of coming just for an hour. It would have to be 2 hours. I just didn't think that they did a very good job for how they promote the cleaning service. They didn't stand out too much to me. I don't know if there is a way to pick out people that speak English. They didn't understand me so that was an issue to try to tell them what I wanted. Initially they had offered in those 2 hours to help me with my laundry. I really didn't think that they should have offered to do the laundry if they weren't going to finish it. She pretty much left without finishing that. They actually told me the day before that they would be there at 2 and they showed up at noon. They didn't notify me that they were going to be early. The lady called me to ask if it would be okay if they came early, but that was when they were there. They had already arrived.

Agnes, who handles appointments, was fantastic. Very responsive and sent a crew to my house in a short timeframe and worked with my schedule. The two women who came to clean the apartment were on time, friendly, and made sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction before leaving. Very happy with their work.

I received excellant same day service from Anna's cleaning. Just finished a kitchen remodel project and dust was all over the house. 2 Women came , worked quickly and efficiently . They did a wonderful job, which included windows, baseboards and floors! Very pleased !

Agnes arrived the first time with the cleaning people. She was very friendly and helpful We walked through the entire house and I pointed out areas that needed a little extra attention. She talked to the cleaning people and away they went. I am very detail oriented and have been known to be hard to deal with as I believe it should be done right the first time. The first cleaning, I expected to have to point out a few things to Agnes (via email - she is very responsive), but everything was GREAT. The second time, same as the first! We have the same people cleaning each time and they are wonderful. They really know what they are doing! They do it fast and well. If you are looking for a good housecleaning either weekly or once in a while, I HIGHLY recommend Anna's Cleaning. BTW - They are great with my dogs, 2 BIG Labradors who can also attest that Anna's people are professional and excellent at what they do. They love the cleaning people!

The cleaning women arrived right on time. I needed them to bring supplies and they were prepared. I was cleaning an apartment getting it ready to rent and I wanted it to sparkle. They did a good job in a timely manner. They exceeded my expectations by washing the windows inside. It was a nice touch. They did not move the refrigerator and when I moved it later there was dust and debris behind it which we had to clean ourselves. Not the end of the world, but it would've been nice not to have to do a thing. The $10 Angie's List discount was much appreciated. I'd definitely use this service again. Next time, I'll request they move the refrigerator and clean behind it.

I worked with a woman named Agnes. It went well and they did a great job. They did a thorough job cleaning. They were courteous, polite and very thorough.

Sent an online request and was contacted by phone almost immediately after hitting send on the computer. A nice conversation with Agnes and was told all the details of Anna's cleaning service and quoted a price. We made an appointment for the following morning. The girls arrived promptly the next morning and started right in cleaning. They ladies were very friendly and professional and were finished within the 2 hours they were scheduled for. They took all the garbage out and packed up all my cleaning supplies. Very nice job. I have already rescheduled with them for 3 weeks from today. very nice job.

After trying many housecleaning companies and usually being disappointed with the results and feeling overcharged, I tried Anna's cleaning and I have now been using Anna's for several years. I don't have a set cleaning time each month, but I appreciate their flexibility in finding a mutually convenient time for my home to be cleaned. And I like that I don't have to arrange the cleaning far in advance. They're always friendly on the phone and I can tell they're concerned with me being satisfied with the results. I left them instructions a long time ago on how to clean certain items in my house, and I never have to remind them about those instructions. They pay very close attention to details, and as picky as I am about how my house is cleaned, I always arrive home surprised just how good a job they did. I would highly recommend Anna's.

This is the fourth time I've hired Anna's service for cleaning. Everything looks fantastic and I will use them again in the future.

We have used Anna's off and on throughout the year. Usually before big events when we want the house to shine. They always are professional and courtious. They always accomadate our requests and leave the house perfect. We will hopefully be using them more often in the future. This last time we where having a party on Saturday and wanted everything to look perfect. This was just after the snow storm that week. They where running late due to snow filled streets but called to let me know they where on their way. Once arriving I showed them the supplies and the group of three went to work efficently and quickly. I left them to their job and came home to a perfectly clean house. When we had our party, our guests commented how great everything looked. The house smelled fresh and all the little details where taken care of.

Very well. I have been using this cleaning service on a regular basis for approximately two years. During that time, I have had consistent, good service from Anna's. Their employees are on time, efficient and do a thorough job. I will continue to use their services.

We have been using Anna's for several years and the quality has really fallen off. It seems as if the company does not take care of its longtime customers. We have referred several people to this service, and never have we been given the discount. Also, the cleaning from week to week is different. Recently, the cleaning ladies were only here for 1 hour, and cleaned around most things on the ground (i.e., washing the floor around the dog bed vs. picking it up and washing under it). They missed trash gathering and are hit and miss when asked to do special cleaning tasks. We've had multiple scheduling problems with the scheduler, and the latest problem will result in us exploring a new cleaning service. This company used to provide great service, but not so much anymore.

Edyta and Grace showed up reasonably close to the start time considering the roads were dreadful and got to work immediately. We initially had a list of tasks for them to do, but after pointing out the things that were really important to us they clearly had a routine. My house looks amazing!! They were very thorough and did a remarkable job throughout. I couldn't be more pleased and will definitely be signing up for regular service.

Recently had my initial cleaning appointment with Anna's. They were able to accomodate my request for an early morning Saturday appointment and arrived right on time. I showed the team to the cleaning supply closet and they got right to work. 2 hours later my condo was in excellent condition. The attention to detail was great. They even cleaned all of the lightbulbs! My previous cleaning service charged me considerably more than Anna's and were not nearly as thorough. I was provided with a courtesy reminder call the day prior to my appointment and was also contacted promptly following the appointment to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. I will definitely continue to do business with Anna's.

The 2 ladies showed up on time, were very professional and extremely efficient. I have used cleaning services before and have to say that so far, the best experience. They know exactly what to do, are very thorough and after the cleaning the house looked and smelled absolutely wonderful. I definitely will use them again.

I waited to review Anna's until I used this service for over a year. Overall, I would recommend Anna's, but as with all services, the quality declines over time and a few issues inevitably crop up. I used Anna's for about 2 years, roughly every two weeks, and during that time a few issues came up. One was a broken item in my kitchen that the housekeeper attempted to tape up. Another was a discovery that the housekeeper was leaving after only about 2 hours, when I pay a 4 hour minimum. Another was a spider web that was left dangling from my ceiling, and when I pointed it out, the housekeeper took a vacuum hose and left a black mark on my white ceiling when she dragged the sharp end of the vacuum hose across my ceiling. But my main criticism is that over time, the quality of the cleaning declined and shortcuts are taken. Notwithstanding these issues, I would recommend Anna's, but if you're very particular about cleanliness and thoroughness, you might want to look elsewhere.

I've been using Anna's cleaning service for several years and the best thing is that they are extremely reliable--every other Friday, they show up, and often check to confirm. They generally do basic cleaning, and do it well--for additional things like cleaning blinds, the inside of the refrigerator or oven, windows, etc. I would probably arrange in advance and perhaps pay extra. I would advise people to type out a very clear list of do's and don'ts and have several copies made, as sometimes the cleaners vary week to week.

Theresa and Anna arrive promptly at 7:30 and quickly got to work from the top down. They are professional, courteous, and work well as a team. They also are great about letting me know when I start to run low on cleaning solutions or rags so that their next cleaning is not disrupted by running out of something. Have been working with Anna's Cleaning for nearly 3 great years!

I called Anna's Professional Cleaning and immediately got Agnes on the phone. We were able to schedule right away and she worked with me on my first appointment. The ladies came on time. They speak English so that we can communicate effectively. They cleaned bathrooms, wiped all walls down, dusted everything, cleaned ceiling fans, kitchen, scrubbed every surface until it looked brand new and the house looked and smelled fantastic. They worked very hard for the accurately estimated 3 hours. Their price was very reasonable especially for all the work that they did. I am planning to have them come on a more regular basis now that we had the deep cleaning done. They are wonderful.

They did a great job. I've used this company several times before and they have always been punctual and thorough. Agnes, the manager, even stopped by while the cleaning ladies were at my house to make sure that everything was going as planned. I would definitely recommend them.
