Anna's Maids

Anna's did an excellent job overall. From the first contact, Agnes was very responsive and worked with us to find a day and time that worked. Agnes also came to the house for the first cleaning to ensure all of our specific instructions were clear to the cleaners. The maids did a thorough job and were conscientious about following my very detailed cleaning checklist for each room in the house.

Organized the cleaning supplies under my sink. Floors look fabulous. Cleaned cobwebs from the ceiling.They worked very hard.

The maids are very professional and they do a very thorough cleaning. I recommend them all the time to people.

I had them out several times. The first time, they were great and I requested the same two people who had been here originally. While they were wonderful the first time, the second two times they did inferior work and were not thorough.

I thought it was odd as a first time customer no one called to confirm the appointment. Two people were scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. When they had not arrived by 8:45 I called to see what happened. The supervisor thought they had arrived and therefore had to find them. In approximately 15 minutes, they arrive. Here's the problem. Since this was a first appointment I took the morning off in order to be at home while they cleaned. Arriving an hour late would make me arrive at work even later. So, I canceled the appointment. No one has called to apologize or try to reschedule.

It went well for the most part. The cleaning crew showed up one hour early which caught us by surprise. They also went straight to the bathroom and started spraying the counter *without* removing our containers containing toothbrushes/shaving stuff etc. I had to throw away my dental products which I was not happy about. I am not sure if it is standard practice or not to do that, but it could have been pointed out to remove them and we would have bagged them. Other than these two complaints (time and contamination), the cleaners did a good and thorough job. The only other caveat I would offer other would be consumers is to ask about if the cleaners will bring their own cleaning products. I did not enquire about it, the cleaners came and used ours [which is fine], but for such an expensive service [120 after tips], I had expected them to bring their own products.

The owner always calls to confirm the appointment the day before. The crew showed up on time, got to work right away, and did a wonderful job. The language barrier is the only thing that is sometimes frustrating. One of the girls speaks no English, and the other has a very limited vocabulary in English, so it makes it hard to communicate when you need something special done.

Anna's responded right away to my request for information. I did not know if Hyde Park is in Anna's service area — it is. Two cleaners arrived promptly and were very professional. They finished the job in a little over two hours. I did not expect to have to provide cleaning supplies and equipment — no one informed me — but I had enough on hand for the work to be done. I plan to hire Anna's again.

Scheduling was quick. My message was returned quickly and our cleaning was scheduled for a few days later. The cleaners arrived on time and I explained that we were looking for a detailed cleaning of each room. There was a misunderstanding about who would provide cleaning supplies. I thought they were bringing everything they needed. I was expected to supply everything. A short while later I had rounded up cleaning supplies, and they started work in the basement. They quickly understood the amount of sawdust/dust that we were dealing with, so progress was slow. I expected them to progress slowly as we had asked them to focus more on cleaning each room thoroughly from top to bottom rather than rushing through many rooms. They spent about 5 1/2 hours (labor time, not clock time) in the basement before moving to the main level. They spent about another two hours of labor time on the main level. When I examined the kitchen, I noticed dust on high up surfaces. I asked if they could clean all the dust in the kitchen. They wanted to wait until next time because they had already cleaned and did not want to get dust on the counters, floors, etc. Fair enough. Initially they did a great job of detail cleaning, but as time went on they were doing more of a general cleaning. The ladies were hard working and did a great job overall, but we did not really get the outcome we were looking for. I would hire them to do a general house cleaning in the future. They worked hard and worked quickly, and their rates are very reasonable.

I have used Anna's twice and they've done a great job each time. They have sent two ladies for two hours each and the work very quickly and do a very thorough job. If I could afford a regular cleaning service, like once or twice a month, I would definitely contract with them.

Agnes' crew did a deep cleaning of our house last month at our request. It was our first time with the company. We had just had a bathroom remodeling done, so the house was very dusty. The crew did a really great job! We were very pleased. Agnes is very professional and responsive, and she really cares that everything goes well for her customers. She is a pleasure to do business with. We are having the crew for a second cleaning today (4 weeks after our first one). We are so glad that Agnes makes a point of sending the same crew to your house each time. I believe that makes a big difference. I'm looking forward to a long association with her company. We've tried many other cleaning services before and have had various problems. But so far, everything has been great, and I have very high hopes for continuing to get great service from Anna's Professional Cleaning! Bravo!Deeop

This company is excellent. Agnes answered my call, confirmed my appointment, and then came to my apartment before the cleaners to verify what needed to be cleaned. The two housekeepers were excellent. They got my entire 2,000 square-foot apartment cleaned in three hours! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to any of my friends needing cleaning services.

I had a 3.5 hour cleaning service performed for the first time by Anna's and was extremely pleased. Two cleaners arrived on time and were accompanied by someone from the main office to ensure that everything we wanted cleaned would be able to be done in the allocated time period. I had explained prior on the phone what we all wanted accomplished, and it ended up that it would be able to be done in the time period allocated. It was the first "deep clean" we have had in a while, and had wanted to kick off what hopefully would become a monthly ongoing cleaning. The cleaners were very professional, nice, and did a great job. We were extremely pleased with the results! We will definitely be utilizing them for our monthly cleaning needs.

Anna's service was excellent. I called the week of Christmas to see if they could clean a 3000+ sq ft suburban home (plus a finished basement) before the weekend & they were able to accomodate my request. They arrived promptly and did an outstanding job of cleaning the house. I would definitely use their service again.

I give them top grades in everything. They were great. I will absolutely use their services again in the future. I have an ongoing service with them.

This was an excellent experience from scheduling to completion of services. The woman who arranged the appointment was extremely gracious and accommodating. The housecleaners were punctual and efficient. They worked as a team and left my house gleaming. Could not have been a better experience and I highly recommend them!

I was happy with all the work performed from start to finish. The cleaning service was conscientious not only about setting up the job but also about completing it.

They did a very good job. The ladies were kind and understanding. We had just moved in and there were boxes and packing materials everywhere! They helped us clear everything up and organize our cabinets and clothes etc. Their supervisor also came around to check if everything was the way we wanted it. I appreciated that a lot.

their Contacted Annas based on Angies List reviews. Sent request on website form. They called back next morning to introduce their service and set an appt. Good phone experience. I was able to get them here the next day. 2 ladies came and were polite and got right to business. She had sufficient english and I gave 1 a tour of house showed where things are. The other one started organizing cleaning supplies and getting going. I felt they had done this many times. I work from home and it was not disruptive having them here. The supervisor (lady I spoke with on phone) came 1/2 way thru to check in and see the ladies understood my direction correctly and how big this job was. She was very friendly and professional. She reviewed what I wanted and communicated with ladies. They expressed what they could get done well in 3 hours. We agreed on the focus and they wished they could do they nice details but I assured them it's okay to skip stuff this time. The house looked great and I was a very pleased customer. Thanks!

The 2 person crew came on time as previously confirmed by Agnes. They did a very thorough job the first time through our house. They performed all the standard house cleaning duties. They cleaned the bathroom floors, kitchen cabinets, baseboards, and dusted window sills substantially better than previous cleaning services we have had. Also, our floors were hand washed, rather than with a mop. They dusted areas that others have completely ignored. They were accurate with estimating the time required to clean and friendly. We have hired them on a regular schedule. They are a little more expensive than others, but more professional and a better cleaning. I still gave an A for price because you get your money's worth.
