Anna's Maids

My husband gave me cleaning services for Christmas. I poured over reviews and called a couple of services. Anna's charges by the hour, whereas the other service gave me a much higher flat rate fee. I spoke to Agnes, and had hoped to get in a cleaning within a couple of days. She was so nice and accommodating, and was able to get me an appointment for the day after Christmas (which was great because I had friends arriving to I that from out of town). Two women, who spoke very little English arrived at 9 am. They worked hard all day! I offered them drinks and food, and they just kept working like two little Energizer bunnies. We have about 3700 square feet in our home, and I was ashamed of the condition of my home. Due to my mother moving in with me, and her subsequent death my home was a complete mess. My house is now clean, and I'm thrilled! The glass doors on my shower look like new again. I can't wait until I can have them back!

Initially, I requested 2 additional items- that the crew speaks English and that I get the same people all of the time, as I did not want new people coming into my home, constantly. This was agreed to... My first cleaning cost $271 and was performed by 2 young women who I later learned would not be my weekly cleaners. They did a good job. The next week there were 2 new people. That relationship did not work out and that was partly my fault. They moved things around without telling me where they were putting thhem and it took me 2 weeks to locate some cleaning tools which were no longer in plain sight.. I overreacted to this because I expected better communication from a home service. Then the third and final team came. The one that spoke English was unfriendly, often rude. I had typed out a list of the items that I would like cleaned each week and another for items that I would like cleaned but not each week. The listing was never acknowledged and each week I found it where I had initially left it. When I tried to talk to her she told me she knows and dismissed me. Still embarrassed over my earlier over reaction, I did not say anything to the company, but rather attempted to communicate directly with the cleaners. Over 5 weeks, I noticed that my cleaning supply stash was being depleted at an unusually rapid rate. A new box of swiffer pads gone, my microfiber clothes that I washed each week and left in a bag for them (the stack was getting shorter and shorter), but I did not say anything to anyone. On December 20th, as they were leaving, I handed them both a Christmas card, each with a $50 tip in it and one of them turned around and I saw that she had a clear grocery bag, from a store that I shop at and it was filled with paper towel, rags, microfiber cloths, and other unidentifiable content. I asked her why she was taking this out of my house, given the fact that they only came to my house with their coats and their large purses. She told me that the contents belonged to her, but she gave me back the microfiber cloths that were in the bag- they were clean and they were clearly mine. Though what she took from my home had little monetary value, the fact that I was in my home office working while someone who was working in my home, would take anything from my home without asking me first and then tell me it was hers...well that was a deal breaker. I paid $143 a week to clean my small but cluttered home. The cleaning services were ok, but not exceptional. The lack of professionalism and the trust issue make this service one that I could not use further. I do not recommend this service to anyone. There seems to be a lack of oversight, poor customer service, and petty theft from the workers.

She did a great job on the areas that were specifically called out by me (baseboards and tubs). She did not however complete the items requested by my husband ( shower walls). The scheduling was pretty casual, via text message with Agnes. I didn't mind this so much because she was pretty responsive. My expectations were not met though: 1. I thought 2 people were coming to clean 2. Move-in cleaning was not really done. It seemed to be more of a surface clean with spot cleaning. I will use them again, because the communication and scheduling were so hectic that both parties could have done better.

We had a bachelorette party for one of my girl friends with about 30 of us, needless to say none of us wanted to do any cleaning afterward. The next morning I decided to call Anna and see if she could get someone over that morning because i couldnt stand the site of the place. I got through right away and she scheduled me for 2:00 i would have liked them to come right over but it was already 11:00 when i called. She sent 2 girls over they didnt say much to me i showed them the mess and they got to work. They threw out 8 garbage bags worth of trash, i was amazed. It took them all of 4 hours to finish tidying the place, the whole lower floor of my home was destroyed. When i did an inspection it was very professionally cleaned, the price was fairly reasonable too. I would use them again.

I hired them to come to my neighbor's home to do a cleaning while they were away. She has been studying for her PhD for a while and had fallen far behind in housecare. I thought it would be a nice gift and she came home tonight and was thrilled with how well they had done on her home. She was impressed that small things that she didn't normally clean often were taken care of by this crew. They arrived about 15 minutes past the window we'd been informed of, but considering the snowstorm they had to drive through to get to us, I can't complain about that. They were quick, took just a little less than the 3 hours we'd requested, but they got all of the cleaning done we had requested and then some. My neighbor has asked for the cleaning service info so she can hire them on her own.

I booked Anna's for a move-in cleaning. My new apartment was dusty and reeked of cats, and they gave it a top to bottom scrubbing, and made me feel good about my new place. It was worth it to shell out a bit more for the kind of deep clean I wanted. The cleaners came just after the 2 hour window they had given me for their arrival, but when they did arrive they brought 2 extra staff members to get done in half the time. There was also a billing mix up that required a few emails to clear up (I was charged on my credit card though I had paid by check). Overall, a good experience, but it could have gone better.

They do a great job. There were 2 workers and they were here for 3 hours. They don't take breaks and are very diligent in their work. When they come here, they use my supplies. It's easy for me to reach them - I'll call and leave a message. She'll call me back within an hour or less.

Fast efficient and polite. Love them!

We just purchased our home and wanted to have the home cleaned before we moved in. Anna sent two women to clean the home. They arrived about 25 minutes late. When I called Anna to schedule the appointment she mentioned that the women might be a few minutes late they were coming from another job and I would be the last of the day. At about the 15-minute mark I called Anna to ask if the women were going to be much later. Anna was not aware that they were running late and could not tell me if they were in route. I was told she would follow up and call me back. When they finally arrived there was no apology for their tardiness. We did the walk through I informed them what I wanted and they got started right away. Anna called me back about 20 minutes after they arrived to ask if they were there. The women worked very hard and paid attention to detail they did a great job. I was disappointed with the customer service the lack of organization and communication between Anna and her team. It was not a great experience but I would be willing to give them another try. If a second experience went similarly I would probably not use them again.

They cleaned my entire house in three hours, sweeping, dusting, cleaning 3 bathrooms and everything else. They wiped down walls where it was needed. We have two large labradors and quite a bit of dog hair on the main level. They took care of all of it. Lonna and Elizabeth were fantastic. They were thorough and efficient.

Very thorough. Brought their own supplies. As is often the case with cleaners, they tidied up, which meant putting things "away" where they thought they belonged, which wasn't always evident to us afterwards. But they did a great job. My only slight ding was that Agnes (the owner, evidently) answers emails and texts, but not phone calls. So after two unanswered phone calls to confirm the appointment, I texted and got a quick response. Also, I paid by check and it took 2 weeks for the check to be deposited; I worried that the two actual cleaners might not have delivered the check to the owner, and even called about it (no response, although the check was deposited the day after the call).

My house hasn't looked this good in a long time. Having them spend a few hours doing what would have taken me more than half a day was a huge relief. And the fact that they did it so well, so thoroughly, was fantastic. They were thorough and cleaned so many of the little things that I occasionally forget to do. The bathroom was spotless, the kitchen shined, even my sofas seemed fluffier when they were done. The women who came arrived about 10 minutes after the vague start time due to traffic and were gone right when I expected them to be done. They didn't complain about the cat hair, or about my cats who would occasionally get in their way. In general, I got exactly what I expected for the price I was quoted when I made my appointment. I was grateful to have been able to get an appointment on short notice, thrilled with the quality of work and found the price reasonable. I would use this service again.

We chose Anna's to clean up our apartment to relieve some of the stress of moving. It was worry-free, the ladies did a great job, and we got our entire security deposit back.

My husband and I are retired, and due to an ongoing illness he is unable to help me in any way with day to day responsibilities. It is necessary for me to do everything from handling the finances, home repairs, juggling doctors appointments, maintaining the cars, etc. Many of these things were handled by him in the past. Lately, things have become overwhelming, and I simply have had to let some things go - one of which is the housekeeping standards I have always lived by. We are not wealthy people and our home is old, so many repairs have had to be put on hold until we can afford them. Last week, on top of my husband's illness, I took a fall, which necessitated staying off my feet for a few days. The house had been neglected for so long that I finally decided to call a housecleaning service to at least help me to get more than one room at a time cleaned. Anna's Professional Cleaning was at the top of Angie's list, and had excellent reviews, so I called them. In the past I have called cleaning services once or twice, and they always scheduled me for 2-3 weeks from the day I called, or insisted on having a representative come to "assess" the job before accepting. When I called Anna's, the woman I spoke to was friendly, empathetic, kind and efficient. She said there was a cancellation in my area for the very next day, and her girls could come then, if I would like. I "liked". They were scheduled for 1:00 p.m. for 3 hours (2 ladies). I was a little embarrassed because I knew they could not possibly do it all in 3 hours. They arrived on time, were well-spoken and neat and clean in appearance. They asked what I would like to have done, and I started them off with my 2 most important rooms - kitchen and bathroom. They got to work immediately, cleaning each room thoroughly. Window sills, cabinet fronts, floors, dusting, vacuuming, polishing - you name it, they did it. In the space of 3 hours, they cleaned every room of the house except the family room, which was already clean enough for me to do myself. I can't tell you what a good feeling it is to wake up and walk through the house, from room to room and know it is all clean. They charged what was quoted me, cleaned and returned the cleaning supplies to the cabinets, and even arranged the cleaning supply cabinet more efficiently than before! I highly recommend Anna's to anyone who wants a job well done. I already called to make appointments for the holidays.

On time. Cleaning was done to perfection. I hired them for my elderly Aunt and they went above and beyond!

Lidia and Elisabeth were amazing! They cleaned EVERYTHING in our house (that hadn't been cleaned in ages) in five hours. Worth every penny!! You should've seen the dirt they were able to remove!

They surveyed the living/front room first. Alex vacuumed the carpet, then started on the love seat, the couch, the mushroom, cleaning the pillows, inside the nooks and crannies of each piece, moved them forward with our help; vacuuming where the furniture was resting, washed the woodwork on the bottom of the walls, dusted any dust on the walls back there, and we moved the furniture back into place. End tables were moved dusted, the glass on them was removed and washed on both sides, and the frame the glass rested on was picked of all dust/dirt in the groves. Lamps were cleaned and treated like a newborn baby. All the items on the end tables were individually wiped and replaced. Window sills and frames were washed and cleaned. The big screen was cleaned very carefully, as was the DVR, DVD player, VHS player, receiver, WII console, and the five speakers on the entertainment stand. THEN, the advanced on the kitchen, doing EVERYTHING a kitchen can have to clean; even reorganizing how several things were originally situated making more efficient use of our limited space. The floor was washed, and a few dishes in the sink even were cleaned. They still didn't have enough, so then our exercise room was attacked. The Schwinn Airdyne bicycle, the True treadmill, Linda's computer desk, computer, all accessories, the entertainment(now bookcase) was cleaned, the microwave was cleaned inside and out, the cart it rests on, ditto; and the other small appliances on it were cared for. The carpet was also cleaned here. The light fixtures in the living/front room, kitchen (with fan), and the exercise room were also beautifully done. I'm sure that's not everything, but that's pretty good picture. I almost forgot, "How nice, and clean our first floor now smells. Even Duchess is a happier 16 year old. She couldn't wait to get a new NOSE print on our front room window where she wards off burglars and lets everyone know she's on guard!"

Monika and Emila did a great job in 3 1/2 hours. House was dusty and dirty from construction, especially bathrooms and basement which were renovated. Thanks for a job well done.

The services were average to good. No complaints. I would have used them again but I only want my house cleaned on Fridays and they could not accommodate.

two maid came to my home 20 mins earlier and they are very responsible ,I like it

A cleaning crew of two cleaned our 2000 sqft town home in about 4 hours. We are in the process of moving in and the previous owners had left the place in quite a mess. The crew cleaned floors, windowsills, appliances, shelves, cupboards, carpets, bathrooms, and pretty much everything else. There were a couple of minor areas we had requested that were forgotten and left unclean (a built-in wine rack and a closet in the basement) but overall everything that was done was squeaky clean. The cleaning crew was professional and hard-working. I would recommend them to others, especially for heavy cleaning jobs.

The girs did a great job cleaning for a tough job.

Cleaning was great. Serving was very good. I would definitely hire them again for both.

They charged $253 to clean my house. My floors are almost entirely carpet. The inside of the refrigerator was not cleaned. I don't know what could have taken so long. For $22/hour per person, I would expect them to work far faster. I won't use them again.
