Anna's Maids

I have been using Anna's Maids for a bit of time and they have been always doing an excellent job. Vary accommodating with my schedule. The team is always on time. I did postponed a few times, but Anna's Maids were always super fine with it. It usually takes them a couple of minutes to find another spot and reschedule. The best think is that Anna's maids does a lot of business through text messages so it makes it easy to postpone, confirm, request additional service and more. I always enjoy my house after the cleaning, great job!

Overall they did a good job. We have used them 3 times so far. They pay attention to details and are very efficient. Communication can be an issue at times as their English often is not very strong, however, the person who answers the phone and makes the appointments does speak English very well and is able to communicate for you if needed. We have been able to get appointment within 1-2 weeks of calling them each time.

Efficient and pleasant, I'll use them again.

They were on time (actually a few minutes early) and got right to work. They did a wonderful job, especially on the kitchen. I was originally supposed to have two cleaners for 3 hours, but they texted me the day before and asked if 3 cleaners for 2 hours was okay. Of course it was!

They came and were on time. They were three people. The second time I used Angie?s List, I felt that the service really was not delivered. There were three people and they did not concentrate and when they left I noticed that they just did not do a lot of the areas. Like I told them to do the kitchen and the bathroom and they had two people on each of those areas but basically during that time they did not do a really good job. It did not smell good. When they left they did not clean the stove at all. I would never use them again. I told them that I thought that they did not do a good job but they left I did the stuff that they did not do well. I told my husband about it and he said that I have to be specific in what I want them to do and I thought I was in what I asked them to do. But unless you write what you want them everything to do, you won?t get service. I would not hire their service again. They didn't clean the stove and something else. I realized I didn't get the service at all. I asked them to clean the kitchen but they left the stove and oven unclean, that was the biggest thing. The price was adequate. They did not do everything that I asked them to do. They were pretty responsive. They were on time. They were very professional.

Me and my wife had cleaning with Anna's recently . The house was cleaned quickly and efficiently. The people we had were very friendly and professional so we called Anna's right away to make next appointment with same crew. As my wife is picky I am happy we found the right company that met our expectation . Thank you Anna!!!

Great people to work with! I have used Anna's many times for cleaning of our house and the team always did a great job. I'am always so impressed by the little details.They moved furniture and cleaned under the beds. We have really enjoyed our experience with Anna's and we highly recommend.???

The house hadn't been cleaned in ages. Two people had six hours each. They did a fair job -- not a great job, but a pretty good job. I should have given them better instructions about what were the most important tasks. They spent more than half the time on the bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and I would have preferred that they concentrate more on the kitchen, living room and dining room.

I liked how they vacuumed and dusted. However the bathrooms were not to standard. I do not think that the toilets were sanitized. I showed them the clorox and lysol I use for toilet and they definitely are not as clean as I do them. Defeats the purpose of getting help if I still have to clean it. I also thought that leaving my vacuum full of the dirt instead of emptying out the easy canister, and leaving all the dirty particles left from the mopping in the mopping bucket was low quality and unprofessional. I had to empty my vacuum and wash out my bucket after they left. I also had many missed particles of food on the floor and some crumbs. I was also very disappointed in how late they were. They were an hour late, and in the initial 30 minutes nobody contacted me to let me know of a delay. I dont really take traffic as an excuse, bc we should all account for that especially when we live in the city. I had to keep waiting and putting off my baby's nap bc I was expecting them but if I were notified I could have planned accordingly and not be so bothered. Also, I mainly had them come because I needed assistance getting all my laundry folded, which I specified in my online inquiry and on the phone and when the ladies came they acted surprised/annoyed- which takes from the professionalism. They did not have time to fold the laundry- so now I need to find someone else to come help. I have been on the hunt for a good cleaner and it is rally getting to be a pain. Someone please refer me someone great who is punctual and thorough! They were very fast and efficient, and the price was good. But I would have preferred they take more time and be more thorough and I pay more.

Excellent!! Anna's cleaning service team did a great job on my house! I had another cleaning service before, who didn't meet my expectations. Anna's cleaning service went above and beyond. The ladies were really friendly and did a good job. Even with my busy schedule, Anna was able to work with the times that was good for me. Great . The team arrived on time with their own materials and they did excellent job. They washed the floors on their hands and knees. We were very impressed with the service and we hired them for weekly cleaning.

The only issue was that they had the wrong address and were 45 minutes late. They did call and kept me notified on their arrival time. They are very friendly and professional. They did a terrific job and finished well before I thought they wood. I highly recommend this company.

Love Anna's professional cleaning. Always clean, fast and detail-oriented. I will continue to use the service when i need it and would highly recommend it to my friends.

I was very satisfied. The team arrived late because of the snowy weather (not their fault), and they got to work immediately when they arrived and worked very hard. They cleaned everything including floors, baseboards, windows/ledges and went behind furniture whenever possible. They were very responsive to any preferences I had. They were very efficient. I would definitely hire them again. The cleaners volunteered to call their boss to ask if my Angie's list deal could also be applied towards my next cleaning, since they were able to finish cleaning in half the time that I had anticipated. That was great.

It was very good. They did a great job, and I've since hired them back and will also do so again in the future. I'm very happy with them.

I used Anna's 1 time , i have 3 bedroom , 2,5 bathroom condo. It took 2 woman about 2,5 hours and the place looked amazing. Team was friendly and did the job i was expecting them to do. I would definitely hire them again and refer to my friends .

They did a good job. it was not any specific task, we got them to do like deep cleaning. They were good. They also helped moved furniture as well. The house look better and most of it was not visible. I was not present but my friend said they were courteous and professional.

Anna's was very accommodating in finding a time slot that worked for us. I first hired them to 'deep clean' my house. It was expensive $200+ and you have to pay the girls $5 travel fee, but my home was in need of a good cleaning. The cleaning was fair the team of 2 worked for 4 hours as agreed on. The following week was a regular cleaning($167 + travel fee) of which was also decent but not more than my original deep clean. The third time they were supposed to come at 8am I told them I get home from dropping my kids at school at 8:15 so just come then. They agreed but I received a call letting me know they would be 15 mins late- which was actually 20 mins and a new team of ladies. This was annoying as I then had to go through the whole house again and give directions, making me late for a meeting I had set up for 8:45a. The last time was the most bizarre. I had a 12p appointment. I saw two cars pull up in front of my house about 11:45, I figured it was Anna's and they were waiting until 12. By 12:20 no one had showed up at my door, I had to run down the street to pick up my daughter from school and as I exited my house three women jump out of the car and act as if they had just showed up. One lady walked to a waiting car while the other two ladies were the original cleaning ladies started to my house. I told them to cancel, I had no idea why they had been sitting in front of my house for over 30 minutes, I was leaving to get my child. To make things more bizarre I returned from getting my daughter 15-20 mins later the two cars were still sitting in front of my house. The third girl got back into her parked car and the two cars drove away when they saw I had returned! I then texted Anna's which I received a voicemail from a woman apologizing and they would offer me $20 off next cleaning. I wasn't going to call back. Then Derek the owner called and left a voicemail saying sorry the ladies were late but sometimes that happens and they were 15 mins late and walking into my house when I was leaving, sorry they should have called. I was mad about this because that isn't what happened at all. He was also shocked that there was a 3rd woman there, he only sends teams of two. He was very apologetic now and offered a free cleaning. I don't want a free cleaning, I don't trust them I don't want people in my house that weren't sent by the company. I actually recommended them to a couple people as they seemed to be responsible and did a good enough job at what I asked them to do. After two late arrivals and bizarre people at my house I rescind my recommendations.

Anna'S customer service (via emails back and forth) were rude and short. I do not know if the cleaning service is acceptable or not but the customer service is enough to keep me from ever recommending Anna'S to anyone. NOTE: Anna'S does not provide service to the Round Lake or Grayslake Areas - ignore all of the previous reviews from people in those areas.

The vendor initially declined to honor the $95 Angie's List deal and wanted to charge me $137. There was some confusion, but eventually the vendor decided to honor the the deal, and also offered to perform the service at a significant discount. I decided not to pursue it, and took a refund instead, but the vendor seems like a good company.

The service was very inconsistent. I finally gave up. A few of the team members were really responsive and good. There were exceptions. One week, they sent a person who was on her first day on the job. I consistently pointed out (during the 3 hours the team of two were there) things she had missed (globs of stuff on the kitchen counter, the stainless steel garbage can that she did not polish, and also broke-- I was able to fix it after minutes of messing with it, etc., the kitchen floor that had stuff all around the edges that she did not clean). At the end of that day, the supervisor came and I told her my complaints, and she said they would not hire her full-time, but no effort was made to give me any credit on the time I wasted paying her, or anything. Just an apology. (I called and complained about various things several times over the months, but they did nothing to offer me any reparation.) Because the service was inconsistent, I kept hoping I would get two good people at the same time, and it would work out. It was frustrating, as I would "train" one team, and then it would change. I have lots of scratches on my gorgeous stainless steel double oven now, because someone used a scratchy rag to clean the top of it, instead of the paper towels I provided with the polish that I use. Ugh. Almost every week, I would spend an hour cleaning after they left: fingerprints on glass table tops, gunk on the floor that they didn't clean, dust on picture frames and on shelves that were apparently too high to reach, in spite of the fact that I had a tall step ladder I consistently showed them. It was never-ending. The last month they were working for me, I also suspected they were not staying the entire three hours, as I would show up when they were supposed to start, but they were already working and would leave early. So the last time, I made sure I was there when they started, and I left during the cleaning. I left a check for the full three hours on the counter and showed it to them. I came back 45 minutes before they were supposed to be done (remember-- I was paying by the hour) and they were already gone. I called to completely cancel my service, and all I got was:" Let us try one more time. We will be better". Again, no compensation for the time I had paid for and did not get. And NO, I was not going to try one more time. Moving on...... t

They were 45 minutes to an hour late. The cleaning was just average. There were some things that were missed. Compared to previous cleaning services I've had, it wasn't as clean. If you're going to be late, call and let the person know that you are going to be late before you are already fifteen minutes late. They need to do a more thorough inspection when they are done. They worked me in, and I scheduled it very quickly (within days).
