We were very pleased with the service Jeffery provided. We didn't have a whole lot of knowledge on the condition of willow tree. He worked with us to come up with the best solution to make the tree safer and the work affordable for us. He was very professional and his customer service and follow up were excellent. He was on schedule, cleaned up the debris the same day of the work even though he said it might take a day or two. We will definitely call him when it is the season to trim the oak tree.

I called Superior Tree Service to remove two dead branches from an old oak tree in the back of our house. Jeffrey Greenberg visited my house within 24 hours of my call, and after viewing the trees around our house, suggested that we have certain other branches removed that were hanging over the house and nearby power lines. I thought these were excellent suggestions and agreed to have the work done. Approximately one week later, the crew arrived and did the agreed-upon work quickly and efficiently. In the course of the work, Jeffrey Greenberg suggested that we have a couple of other branches removed from the oak tree and some additional pruning of another tree which had grown close to some power lines. We are very pleased with the work performed by Superior Tree Service, and think our property looks a lot better as a result of the work performed.

I called for estimate and Jeff came out within a week and provided a detailed very reasonable estimate. Our yard was very overgrown and our trees had never been professionally trimmed. i accepted the estimate and within 2 weeks, he called to schedule our visit. A team of 4 workers came on the scheduled day and trimmed all of the bushes and trees on our property, approximately 10 large bushes and 2 trees. The team asked me if there were any questions on what I wanted trimmed. The were professional and friendly. They completed all of the trimming within an hour, using chain saws, ladders and long handled saws. All of the branches were piled in my front yard and them disposed of in the chipper. The yard was raked and then blown. At the end of an hour and a half, the yard looked fantastic, clean and contained no trace of branches or leaves on the ground. I was very pleased with the service.

I had purchased a big deal, but I paid an extra 150 Dollars. I was satisfied with their efforts. He was very responsive, but I was disappointed because we had a bit of a communication problem.

Jeff came out and provided an estimate within 24 hours of our call. We felt the estimate was reasonable and called to schedule the work. The work was done earlier than expected and was done quickly. We were very pleased with the work and were happy to get additional advice from Jeff on what to do with some other trees in our yard. We plan on having him come to do some additional trimming soon.

Jeff came out and gave a quick/reasonable estimate for my Niles home. My hours are difficult, but he was able to remove 4 of my Yew shrubs while I was at work. He also gave me great advice for my other trees. Left my yard looking clean and trim. Very happy, will hire him again.

I recently moved into a house which needed a lot of exterior clean up. The buckthorns were allowed to grow for years without any effort to keep them at bay, and the other trees had not been well cared for as well. I had a couple of tree guys come out to give estimates to cut all of the buckthorns, trim all of the other trees, remove all debris, and grind stumps. Based on the estimates I was receiving, I decided to cut everything I could, and have Superior remove the debris, grind the stumps, and trim the limbs from the trees I couldn't. He knew the trees that were going to be cut as he saw them in order to make his original bid. We scheduled a day for him to come do his work. I told him when we scheduled that I would be out of town and confirmed he was okay doing this while I was not home. The day of the job, I get a call on my cell phone that the job is much bigger than he thought, and that he couldn't do the job for the price quoted. I am out of town, I've been waiting for weeks to get this done, and my choices are to agree to a higher price, or he is going home and won't do the job. His position is he gave me a chance to not have him do the job. However, I had already waited a couple of weeks, I was out of town, and to find someone else after I returned from out of town and then get scheduled would have cost me several more weeks. He had me in a jam. So, I agreed to his new price. He was unable to finish the job that day (he did everything but grind the stumps). I asked him to give me a days notice before they came out to finish the job. But, Sunday they showed up unannounced to finish grinding stumps.

Superb provider. Jeffrey is super-responsive from quote to follow-up. Jeffrey arrived on the day of service to be sure the crew was in-sync, and then, under the solid direction of the foreman, Santiago, the crew made quick, safe, efficient work of removing the specified trees. Superior Tree Service did a superb job. We already have them scheduled for additional work, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I originally hired them to remove a tree and a bush. After looking at the trees, we also decided we should have them clean up some other trees also. Everything was done on time and at a very fair price. Would do business with them again.

I bought a Big Deal because I saw that clearing was included in the offered services, and it probably would have cost $150 just to get someone to haul away the cut branches that had been put behind the garage when some other work was done a while ago (then neighbors, seeing the small pile, decided it was a good place to put THEIR cut branches and lumber discards) Communication was all by phone and email, so I never actually met anyone. They came while I was at work, "staged" from the alley, and cleared the area. However, the stumps were still there. I emailed to ask whether they were coming back, and received a very short email: "Yes, weather permitting." After a few weeks, I emailed again, and was told it was on the schedule for the current week. Again, they did come, and the work is now finished to my satisfaction. I think I would be more likely to hire this company again if I had not had to bug then twice to come back, or if they had communicated about what the delay was-- and also if someone had come to the house and introduced themselves. But I definitely got my money's worth, and I am very happy to have the area cleaned up at so little cost, so when I need tree work done, I will talk to them again. Unbelievably, someone has already dumped a piece of wood trim, and a bit of left-over concrete in my now clean and clear behind-the-garage space!

Thoe owner telephone me the day before service to inform he would do the service the next day and that I did not have to be home.

I bought the coupon for $300 worth of service for $150. Jeff said he would do as much as possible within that price and give me an estimate for any additional work. His 5-man crew came in the morning and were done within an hour. They cut back several large branches, some of which were overhanging the house and power lines. Some also had a fungal growth so he cut all those branches away. Many of the branches were overhanging the backyard. They were great for shade, but cut way back on the amount of sunlight, so he trimmed all of those back. It has made a dramatic difference and even in winter, there is way more light coming into the yard and house. He was able to get all that done within the $300 value of the coupon. I am very satisfied and would definitely use Superior again.

Jeff came out the day after I called for an estimate on trimming some branches hanging over my neighbor's driveway. He suggested that other low hanging branches should be trimmed, and also told me that there were branches growing over and even touching our roof (the tree is very large) which I didn't even know about and which could be damaging our roof! Yikes! We immediately accepted his $350 bid and within days he was back with his crew. The job was quickly and efficiently completed and the tree looks nice and perky again. I have already recommended Superior Tree Service to a friend with potential tree-trimming needs and will call on them again when and if I need more help with the magnificent tree over which have custody.

It went just fine. The firm owner came by a number of times to assure the work was to my satisfaction.

They did a good job and they accepted the coupon without any problem. However, they offered to trim a tree a for free and when the workers came to do the job, they didn't give me the free trimming. When I called the owner, he promised to come back and trim a tree for free, but they never came back. Otherwise, I am pretty satisfied with their service.

Jeffrey was very professional and great to work with. He came out on the day of service and went over everything with the crew and reconfirmed with me. He also stopped several times through the course of the day to ensure that everything was going well. The two diseased elms were very large and spanned across my roof and my neighbor's property. They did a great job taking it down. Two of the wooden slats were damaged on my neighbor's fence but considering the size of the job, this was not a big issue. The crew was very professional and did a great job. I had several limbs removed from 4 large oaks and deadwooded as well. They removed a small mulberry and pruned two other smaller trees as well. I am very happy with the service and highly recommend them.

This is the 2nd job I have had done by Superior on my property. Previously they removed a very large dead oak that was over power/telephone/cable lines, they removed a couple of other small dead trees and a couple of buckthorns, and they ground out all the stumps. They did a very good professional job for a great price. I have several other large oaks on my property, and they hadn't been trimmed back in what looked like years. There were dead branches everywhere, and large branches hanging over our roof, chimney, etc. Superior was the best quote we got, and they didn't try to upsell us fertilization, rhyzhomes, bug treatment, or anything else. Within a couple of days of us faxing the contract over they were at our house, the crew was polite, the job was done well and quickly, and the cleanup was complete.

They were excellent. It turned out really good; they were very professional and cleaned up everything.

Jerffrey trimmed my trees all around the property with special attention to trees that were actually touching the house. He was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The price was great, and I am very happy with the work performed. I will be calling back next time I need a tree guy. Excellent!

Experience overall was perfect. He wasn't pushy but emphasized his goal to keep the neighborhood's integrity. He cleaned up the yard well and the work was done to my satisfaction.

This is the second time I have used Superior Tree Service and I must say...they are TRULY SUPERIOR to any other tree service I have ever used!! First, let me explain that I have very large Willow & Spruce trees as well as other more medium sized trees. Over time, big, old branches start dangling and you get a little nervous that they will either come crashing down on your house or even worse...your dog who plays in the yard!! In addition, sometimes your trees just need a little TLC and a good trimming that your landscaper is just not qualified to do! Further, living here in the Chicago area is a guarantee that your trees will take a beating from the high winds and severe weather! That's when you call SUPERIOR!! On both occasions. SUPERIOR came out, assessed my situation, made recommendations, gave me a quote and came the next morning to get the job done. Their men are efficient, quick and they clean up like no one else does!! Further, I can guarantee...their prices are way lower than any other tree service in the North Shore! I have had many quotes and they are not only the least expensive, but their work is better than any others I have used!! Thank you SUPERIOR!! My trees look awesome!! :))
