Description of Work: Sink drain gurgling when toilet flushed. He said Sewer needed rodding even tho I told him no signs the sewer needed rodding. Sink gurgling not 1 of the signs. Rodded anyway. Didn't solve problem. He didn't know what else to do. Said to call village to rod out main. I did. Solved problem. Village guys said always to call them first. |Asked Pasquesi plumber to also replace toilet handle; he couldn't--didn't have the right part; but tightened floor bolt of toilet. 99.99% of the 1.5 hours he was here was spent rodding the sewer drain. Charged $25 for the rodding and $295 for the 1.5 hours. Just received bill and am contesting it.

NO WORK PERFORMED BECAUSE: 1. THEY TOOK A FULL WEEK TO RETURN MY INITIAL PHONE CALL; 2. THEY WAITED UNTIL THE EXACT TIME OF OUR APPOINTMENT TO CALL ME AND CANCEL, TELLING ME I WOULD BE CALLED BACK THAT AFTERNOON; 3. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE ONLY SUPPOSED TO COME FIX MY TOILET BUT WHEN WE DISCOVERED THAT OUR HOT WATER HEATER WAS LEAKING (WHILE THEY WERE STILL AT OUR HOUSE, THEY SAID THEY COULD FIX IT RIGHT AWAY, AND THEY DID. THEY HAULED AWAY THE OLD HOT WATER HEATER TOO FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND CLEAN.

THE TECHNICIAN ASKED SEVERAL SPECIFIC QUESTIONS PRIOR TO INSPECTING THE PUMP. HE ALSO ASKED IF I WANTED THE OLD PARTS AND SHOWED ME THE NEW PUMP HE INSTALLED. HE ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS FULLY, WAS POLITE, AND WORKED QUICKLY. THE MARK-UP ON THE PUMP PRICE SEEMED A BIT HIGH, COMPARED TO WHAT YOU COULD PURCHASE DIRECTLY; HOWEVER, WHEN THERE''S THREE INCHES OF WATER IN THE BASEMENT, IT WAS LESS IMPORTANT.
