Description of Work: I did not use Duboff Locksmith because they told me that this was a job that I could do myself, and although they would come and do it for me, they were confident that I could fix the issue. They provided me with the information I needed to go to a hardware store and purchase what I needed, and I was able to complete the repair myself. | |It is not very often that you fine a vendor today with this kind of integrity and consideration. In the future, should I have a need for locksmith services, Duboff will be the folks that I call for sure.

Description of Work: fixed my front and back door locks better than original, the back one did not work before, the gentleman was great and my cat though he was okay as she did not move from her spot on the back of the couch or open her eyes to watch. If she does not like someone she will growl like a dog and get up and watch their moves.

After discussing what needed to be done he gave me an estimate that was different than the deal on line. The deal on line from the previous day was no longer available and he said that that deal included 4 locks and I needed six re-coded and one replaced. The cost to complete the work was reasonable. Scott did a great job and made sure that everything was working before he left. He also reprogrammed the garage door openers and gave me recommendations for future care. I would use his service again.
Description of Work: Replaced on lock and re-coded the locks in the remainder of the house.

We set an appointment time and he was in contact with me on that day prior to his arrival. Once he arrived, he explained my options and once we agreed upon the the best one, he explained exactly what he was going to do and what the cost would be. He had everything completed in a very short time and made sure I tested everything to ensure it worked properly.
Description of Work: Re-keyed 4 locks. Fix a lock that had a broken key piece wedged in it.

He was not pushy in trying to get me to buy additional services I did not require. He cleaned up the area once he completed the job. Scott also made sure I was 100% comfortable / satisfied with the service provided; to include showing me that the old keys did not work on the house. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to friends.
Description of Work: I had my front door re-keyed and a dead bolt added on the door that enters the garage for added security.

He always is able to come within a timely manner, is very professional, explains what happened well, as well as my options to fixing the problem. Specific to the options, he gave me a range of different products that could be used, was up-front with the price, and gave me the pros and cons with each possible solution. What more could you ask for? In terms of knowledge, he has been able to quickly diagnose and fix the wide range of issues that I have had across multiple lock types and brands. Unfortunately, the lockset couldn't be fixed so he told us just what we needed to buy to match what we have in the rest of the house. Once we found the right set, Scott came back and installed everything within minutes. The lock on our door has never worked so smoothly! He was very professional and knowledgeable.
