These guys were great! They responded very promptly to my inquiry and came out the same day. They changed all of our exterior locks quickly and efficiently and were reasonably priced.

Although Scott did not service my area, he was very nice & helpful over the phone (even offering to coach my husband on how to complete the repair). He took time out of his schedule to call another Angie's List locksmith and refer the job to him (who quickly came out & performed the service). Scott was very professional, very courteous, and helpful.

Had front door lock inspected because it was loose, and house key did not fit. As it turned out the problem was the duplicate keys I had made at Lowes. He made me set of duplicate keys from equipment he brought with him at reasonable price. And they worked.

When I called they answered promptly, I explained that I needed an exterior door on the second floor opened and re-keyed. I also informed them that it was a fake balcony and needed to be assessed from the outside. A gentleman named Ricky came out within an hour, but that is when the fun started and he said "I am afraid of heights and won't go up on the ladder". My contractor had to do the work while he stood on the ground instructing him. Find out later that they key cars not homes. Angie's List says they do homes. I will never use them again and will question Angie's List from now on.

Scott Duboff came and did a lock change on our 1928 home with original door hardware and 7 locks. While he didn't have what he needed in his vehicle, he ordered and came back the next day to complete the job. Thanks Scott for caring about what you do!

Scott was professional and courteous and went out of his way to schedule an early appointment before I had to leave for work. He fixed my spare bedroom door and front door, and although my bedroom door handle was almost older than he was, he was still able to patch it together, although he told me it was actually broken and might not last. He even offered to do some research to see if the company that manufactured the handlestill in business, and I'm waiting to hear from him.

See above comment. I was a bit surprised at the $60 charge after paying for the visit on Angie's List, but he had lowered what he said was his usual charge and wanted to accommodate me as best he could.

He called to ask if he could come early. Showed up and completed the requested work in a timely manor. Took into consideration what was the best cost effective method to fulfill my requests. I will keep him in mind for future use and my family will also.

All the keys and locks work very smoothly. He is a very fast and meticulous worker.

Scott was great! He was very professional yet friendly. We talked about what I needed. He gave me excellent and reassuring advice on security of my new home. I had purchased an Angie's Big Deal which included the service call and % of labor. He quoted me the charges and did the work quickly and efficiently, even took he's shoes off so not to track rain in. After showing me the finished work he made sure I was satisfied and all my questions were answered. Scott made me glad I joined Angie's List.

It went very well. He was able to copy a key that the hardware store could not reproduce for me. He kept working on the keys until they opened the locks smoothly.

Good work done. However I was expecting that the charge just to come in should have beeen adjusted from total estimate. I ended up paying just to show up as well as full estimate for the work done.

Scott is very responsive, courteous, and professional I have 6 locking entry doors into my home. That's 12 locks total. He walked through the house with me and suggested which locks should be re-keyed immediately. He gave me advice on which doors to re-key to avoid any lockout situations. My home was a bank-owned property and Scott understood how many people may have had access to the property, and gave me solid guidance. Scott's vehicle is a rolling locksmith shop. He took all the lock-sets out to his car and retooled them there. I thought that was very considerate and detail-oriented. I highly recommend him.

Customer Service The first time I telephoned Scott we spoke for about 20 minutes. He was personable and answered the questions I had. We then scheduled an appointment for a day or two later. When we met he spent close to an hour and a half with my wife and I discussing features, costs and the quality of various locks. I was prepared to spend a lot more on locks, but he discussed my needs with me and pointed out that there were a number of locks that were less expensive but were of high quality. It was abundantly clear that Scott was not trying to profit off of me by selling more expensive locks. In fact, he even escorted us to a local hardware chain and spent 45 minutes helping my wife and I pick up locks he deemed to be high quality and then encouraged me to purchase the locks using my military discount, saving even more money. I had to order three of the digital deadbolts I wanted. When they arrived, I notified Scott and he was there the next day to install them. There was never a charge for all the time he spend with me and my wife. He only charged us for installation, and on top of that he also gave us a 10% discount because we chose him because of his high ratings on Angie's List. Scott then followed up a few days later with an email to see how the locks and handles were performing. I would wholeheartedly recommend Duboff Locksmith Services LLC to my friends.

Scott was very thorough and professional. I initially planned to replace just the front door handle but I had some other security concerns which I discussed with Scott and decided to make some additional, and somewhat significant, upgrades to all entrance doors. For each of my concerns Scott offered some suggestions, but he never tried to pressure me into selecting any particular upgrade. The services that I requested ended up being quite extensive and probably more time consuming than his average service call. He took a lot of care in all of the installations and provided detailed explanations of everything he did. I confidently recommend Scott Duboff for all locksmith services.

I called Scott and he came right over! He fixed the door lock issue and made it even more secure than it was before. At the same time, we needed a new peephole and he got on that right away too. It was a little difficult since we have a metal door...but he fought through it. I would totally call on him again for any issues like this and would refer him to anyone that needs a quick responder at the right price and the right work!
