We were extremely impressed with Scot and his service. He arrived exactly on time for the appointment made, Listened carefully to the problem and issues we had with the door lock. Then he carefully explained various options we could use to replace the defective lock, and offered several solutions. He left to pick up the new hardware, we specified, and returned within an hour or less. He told us exactly what the cost of the materials and service would be before he began the work. He was very professional, yet easy going and friendly. He got right to work and finished the job to our total satisfaction. We will certainly call on him again,, when needed, and recommend him to our friends and family.

It went well and they were very good. I had no issues with them at all. They got the job done in less than one hour and the scheduling was easy.

Scott was referred by another service to provide same-day service. He responded almost immediately, gave us options and performed the service very quickly. He's very personable and professional. As we were new to the area, he gave us excellent contacts for other services of which we were in need.

Scott was wonderful. He was quick and thorough and got us into the house fast. He is now our locksmith in Tampa and when we have issues with keys, door knobs or locks we will hire him again. He is pleasant, fair and honest. What else can a person ask for when it comes to home security?!

This whole experience only took 3 hours! From the first phone call to the time of writing this review. I even told him that it wasn't an emergency and that I could wait until the next day. Scott is the perfect example of what a small business owner should be. He was professional, courteous, out going and best of all prompt in his service. Scott is actually the ONLY locksmith that I called out of five that answered the phone when calling for prices and he answered me while he was at the doctor's office. Job is done. Scott was able to fit me in the same day I called. He was quick and professional. He explained everything he was doing very thoroughly and gave me a lot of safety advice. He re-checked the locks with the old keys to make doubly sure they didn't work anymore and he recommended I go behind him and do the same. He also volunteered to show me his license, insurance and bond paperwork and counseled me extensively on using only providers for other issues in the house that had the same paperwork, even going so far as to show me where to look for the expiration date. This was my first time using anyone on Angie's list and now I can see how great it is. Scott answered my call right away, gave me a repair estimate and we made an appt for the next morning. Scott arrived on time. He opened the deadbolt right away, then proceeded to give me options for the repair. As it turns out, the entire repair cost less than his estimate. He was very thorough in explaining each step making sure that I was happy and in agreement with what he was doing. He did not rush and was very patient in answering all of my questions. He is very passionate about making sure that you are completely satisfied - great customer service! I discussed some more work with Scott and plan to contact him in the near future - he even offered to go with me to pick out new locks. A plus service - very pleased!!

He first determined that he couldn't re-key the two locks because one of the deadbolts was cheaply made. So I decided to go with two new deadbolts. He quickly installed them. They were re-keyed to be the same key for me! He then gave me a couple backup keys. He was VERY friendly, super quick, and seemed to enjoy his job. By the time he left, I almost felt like he was my friend.

Scott was caught in traffic but called to let me know he'd be 10 minutes late (cable companies could learn a lesson here!). He took care of the items covered by the "Deal" and also installed a new lock for a very reasonable price. Went above and beyond anything we expected from a locksmith and was patient and informative and very helpful when explaining our new locks and doors. Perfect. I called Scott Duboff of Duboff Locksmith Services Friday morning and he was at my house by 1pm Friday afternoon to see exactly what I needed and give me an estimate. He was so helpful in explaining what would be best for my needs, even though it was not as expensive as what I initially thought I needed. So few people these days are that honest!!!! Once Scott gave me the information, he was back by 3:30 the very same day to start the project. Talk about prompt and reliable!!! Scott completed the job perfectly. I tried to tip him $50 because his work was so exceptional, and Scott would not even accept the tip, saying he had charged me a fair price and he expected nothing more. If there were only more service providers like Scott! Scott is the best locksmith I have ever encountered. He is smart, honest, fair, punctual, skilled, and a pleasure to work with. I recommend him highly without any reservation. On a 1-10 scale, Duboff Locksmith Service is a 10!

I took advantage of his Angies' deal. The lock on my sliding glass patio door was broken. On his initial visit, he recognized that the lock was of European make. He thought he might have a part, but it didn't work. After doing some research, he came back a second time with another locksmith friend. They spent an hour trying to fix the lock. They identified the problem. Because the problem was inside a sealed metal box, they couldn't fix it. And the parts for the European lock are no longer available. So, even though he wasn't able to fix the lock (through no fault of his own), I was impressed with his dedication to solve my problem. Would I use him again and recommend him? You bet.

I did not even shop around since I was really in desperate need to get it done that day so I just took whoever could get here the fastest.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. I only talked with him on the telephone and was not there when he did the service. My mother was there for the service. The service was fine and the technician was very nice and polite. My Big Deal coupon only paid for the service call so I have to pay for the new lock and the labor to put it on. I have had no problems and the new keys work great. He put a good lock on there and it works good. I have not had to re-do it.

They were very good. The guy was very good and he would interact with me so it was a very good experience. When I was moving in, I wanted to change all my locks and some door knobs. He's top notch and there's a lot of communication. Back and forth he was a little bit late but I knew it in advance. He actually stayed longer than I expected just to make sure that there was no problem. He was a little bit expensive but everything else was excellent.

He did a great job. I was happy with it and I did not have a problem. I would use him again.
