Worked out really well. The electrical took longer so the total was more by the end. It was worth it I just wondered why it couldn't have got done in the time frame given. Clean. Good job. He will charge for time and transport to store for supplies.

I guess they are right, they are indeed a very small company. Probably they are not bad either. The only problem, they overcommitted and under delivered. Something I have never seen from Angie´s recommended companies. Not sure why they have all the good ratings. Maybe I was the unlucky guy. Based on the last email I received yesterday they were supposed to show up today. I made sure I am at home. I guess my job was not big or important enough for them. Really disappointed. I called Angie´s hotline and they said they would cancel and recommend someone else. I didn´t want to black mail them but the lady on the phone asked me to leave a review here to make sure they take care of their future customers.

No complaints, all work was done correctly and efficiently.

It was excellent. The person was extremely professional, and I was very satisfied.

I bought the deal Wednesday and the business didn’t get back to me until the following Monday morning. I mentioned I needed 2 outlets installed in my garage and I’m free in the mornings. Gave the business my phone number and asked him to call me. I received another email Tuesday morning from the business that stated “I don’t give prices without see the job first. You bought a coupon to do the work.” I wrote back restating what I needed and asked the business to come over to give an estimate. I also asked the business to give me a call.

Not able to schedule work I have already gone with someone else.

Purchased a deal for electrical service but learned the vendor doesn't service our area. Suggested that they inform A.L. about distance restrictions. Vendor stated that they have communicated this information regarding their area of service but no adjustments from A.L. have been made thus far.

It was OK. The technician was polite and professional and explained a lot of things. However, when they installed the box, there was piece underneath that was left open and was exposed to the outdoors. We started getting frost on the indoor outlet on the opposite side of the wall so they had to send someone else to close it off. They were responsive when we called them and sent someone quickly.

Servicer was punctual, friendly, and fast. First he though the new fan was too big but he made it work. I was little worried if I didn't fit if they'd give us our money back or at least put in a fan that worked but he was able to put in the new fan.

He was 40 minutes late but otherwise was professional, courteous, and let me know that some work I asked about wasn't really needed.

There was a bit of delay on both sides (theirs and mine) in setting up an appointment time. That said, once we were both able to find availability and set a date, the service could not have been better. My husband and I are updating a 1959 bungalow. This house is in need of a lot of TLC, but Mick took everything in stride. He arrived when scheduled and was courteous, professional, and funny. He made having a stranger in the house as comfortable as possible. Mick could not have been more thorough, and I wouldn't be surprised if he could also predict the lottery numbers - everything he hypothesised about our electricity problems ended up being true. He also knew we were curious aspiring do-it-yourselfers, so he explained his "diagnosis" process and even provided some science lessons along the way. Now we know what kind of LED bulbs to buy - thanks Mick! ;) Everything works beautifully and we feel about 1,000 times safer turning on our lights and exhaust fan now. We've referred Sound Construction to two of our friends and would be happy to hire them in the future.

Appreciated the mutual flexibility, lots of rescheduling. Did not appreciate- 1 no show/no call/no return calls - when they did show ...what they did do they seemed to do OK...they spent the time just didn't do 6 hours of labor and left early and left the garbage bag in the hall.

We haven't heard anything from them since we purchased the deal. We want a refund.

The chandelier was in many pieces, and the service provider patiently read all the directions and installed the frame to the ceiling. I completed the hanging of crystals later to save money. The deal I purchased was for 2 hours, but the job required more time at $90 per hour, which was reasonable but not cheap. I had some difficulty communicating with the office to clarify the time of arrival, so the electrician arrived prior to the time I expected, which was a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, the work was done well and I am satisfied.

It was a great experience as usual. Ralph and his team are among the best anywhere.

They didn't show up for their appointment and then did not return my phone calls that I made to reschedule.

It was fantastic. They were very communicative before they even came out. At one point, they had requested to reschedule as the owner's wife was having a baby. First, the weather came into effect. They couldn’t do work with it raining outside because they would have to be doing some stuff outside the house. They were excellent on communication and very responsive. The work itself was wonderful. My husband was here watching them. The guy explained everything. If my husband had a question, he would tell him everything he was doing. Even if my husband didn’t have a question, he would explain that he was doing this because of that. He was very good. He was very knowledgeable and took care of everything. He didn’t leave a mess. It was a good experience with them. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

It was a good experience. I called them and they came right away and worked. They did everything perfectly. They were fast.

Terrible. After contacting Ralph, it took him weeks to call me back. Originally we had set the date for him to come on January 27th. When I called him the morning of, he didn't know what I was talking about nor recalled ever setting the appointment. He said that he was available to come back the next day, which he did. He was late with no phone call and Ralph is not a friendly person. He actually left A rather large hole in the bathroom wall where the old toilet paper holder fixture was removed and didn't bother to point it out, or say anything, but just left. I will submit pictures.

Sound Construction was wonderful to deal with. Great communication, very responsive. Showed up on time as promised. I thought I had a larger electrical problem, but only the GFIs had tripped (I had tried but could not reset them myself). I was happy to pay to have them reset and everything checked out. Employee Mick was great.

It went well. They showed up on time and they did a good job. We had no problems.

I signed up for the two hours of electrician services for $89. He did a great job, resolving all of the issues that we had. He was prompt, friendly and professional. He even ran to Home Depot to pick up the necessary materials to repair the outlet, doorbell and switches. The additional cost noted in the cost of service above, was the cost of materials added to the pre-paid labor cost. Overall, it worked out very well as we were able to resolve a number of small problems that had arisen over time, none of which in and of themselves seemed serious enough to warrant calling in an electrician.

I've tried to call this provider and schedule the services for 5 days now with no response to any voice mails that I left. I have decided to find another company and go with them due to the lack of response from Sound Construction.

The work turned out fine. He didn’t do a whole lot of work. It was a pretty easy job. My experience with him was good and he did a great work. The price was fine for the deal that I got. He was responsive and showed up on time.

I was contacted within 24 hours of accepting the contract, and was asked to provide a description of required services. We swapped emails back and forth a couple of times, hashing out the details, and then I was given my choice of dates for service. The electrician arrived on schedule, and worked efficiently but quickly. He kept an eye on the clock as we moved through the various tasks, and let me know that he could either stop at the 2-hour mark or I could choose to keep him longer, at their standard rate. I did choose to keep him an hour later, to complete the chandelier installation. He was extremely professional but friendly. Most importantly, the lights look great and work perfectly. I am very happy with the entire process, and would use this provider again.
