King Tree Specialists, Inc. is a Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) accredited company serving Central Illinois. With ISA Certified Arborists and Certified Tree Workers on staff, King Tree Specialists' employees possess proper education and technique for pruning and plant health care for trees and shrubs. We adhere to the highest accountability in industry safety standards (ANSI A300) and employ a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional as well as a ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. We are equipped to advise, direct, and plan the entire scope of your lifelong tree care needs.

Services we offer

We offer services in tree and shrub pruning, complete plant health care including insect and disease management, horticultural/arboricultural consulting, root collar excavation, fertilization, aeration, cabling and bracing. We are also available for construction site consultation, tree protection and preservation, Tree Risk Assessments, new tree planting, replacement plantings, & tree and stump removal. We specialize in difficult tree removals with the use of climbers and cranes.

Description of Work: They cut a small tree down, ground stump and filled with dirt, and pruned another larger tree. They did quality work! Brian is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. Will use again in the future and would recommend. Cost was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Took out 6 large Hickory trees in about 5 hours. Three were dead, three not doing well. Very professional team took them out from the top down and hauled away the wood. All stumps ground down and site cleaned up. My only comment is that communication is a little light. I know weather is a big factor in their scheduling, but I never knew what the plan was until 4-5 days before they came out. That was two months after I signed the contract. But I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: They trimmed some of my trees, getting limbs out of overhead lines. They even came back to retrim a couple trees that had not been trimmed enough. I like that they do not "cilco-ize" the trees.

Description of Work: They removed several dead trees and trees that had grown too close to the house. They did not have access to the back yard and had to cut down and lift the trees with a large crane over the top of the two story house.It was amazing to see what they did. They did not leave any debris, and they did not damage anything.
