They did a great job. They kept asking if everything was to our standards and just did good work overall.

The service turned out wonderful again. They are fast at getting here when you need them, take care of all of the clean-up and very good to work with. They give you an estimate and quickly get the job done. They also checked out a red cedar fir tree because I was wondering how healthy it was. They said it was fine.

I called a number of other tree removal companies. Only two responded. King Tree Specialists were prompt in returning my call. Brian King came out and did the estimate. It proved to be reasonable and accurate. He stayed in close contact with me given their other commitments and weather conditions to schedule the work. A crew of about 4-5 men showed up to do the work. They were fast, friendly and efficient. The work was entirely done in one visit that took about 2.5-3 hours. They did an excellent job and even cleaned out some of our gutters when they were done! I would use them again and highly recommend them.

I had been referred to King Tree by several people whom I knew from a local independent garden center. Brian King was able to provide me with an estimate and answered my questions about estimate details succinctly. Brian was very easy to work with and was not pushy or arrogant; he was very reasonable and intelligent about what needed to happen in order for my landscape project to move quickly. The most amazing part, to me, was how quickly and efficiently the crew worked. At 7:00 a.m., at my request, the crew arrived with 4 trucks including an aerial bucket truck, a chip truck with a chipper, another truck with an all-terrain loader, and another with a large stumpgrinder. By 7:50 a.m. the 18" Honeylocust was down, chipped, logs loaded, parking lot raked and cleared and they were off. The stump crew was left behind and working fast at removing all of the root mass and stump left from this monster of a tree. I couldn't believe it....50 minutes and all that was left was stumpgrinding!!! The crew operated very systematically and safely and were very thorough in all of their cleanup. One thing I noticed about King Tree's crew that I haven't seen elsewhere: they wear protective gear for safety (helmets, eye-wear, ear protection, chaps...the whole bit). I have NEVER since seen another tree company in Central Illinois operate with their standard of safety, communication, and systematic operation. I call King Tree Specialists whenever I have the smallest questions about tree care.

My experience with King Tree Service was very good from the estimate on. I found the people to be very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I needed recommendations regarding what to do with one particular tree and Brian was very helpful. The two gentlemen that came to perform the work were very nice, friendly and performed their work very professionally. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to perform the work. I will definitely use King Tree Service again and will recommend them to friends and family.

I called and asked for an estimate for trimming trees. I specifically called this company because they also cable trees and I plan on cabling a tree next spring. The person I spoke to on the phone said it could be anytime within a week that they would come out for the estimate. It was less than 2 days and within a half hour, they were doing the work. I knew how much I could afford to spend. The price offered was exactly that amount. I asked them to remove a very large 20 foot, 6-inch diameter branch that had only partially fallen out of a tree, asked them to trim away all limbs around my neighbor's home, and to remove a very large high branch that had partially fallen and was laying on branches of another tree. I left and when I came home, the job was done exactly as I specified. As well, they hauled away a bunch of fallen limbs that I had planned to bundle later. I have already recommended this company to a friend who needs to have some tree work done. I also plan on asking them to come back in spring to cable my tree. The estimate given for the cabling is very reasonable also.

Did the work as scheduled, and cleanup was well done.

Trimmed/pruned dead wood from three large red oak trees and installed cables to support vulnerable branches. All work done by individual climber with spotters on the ground. Trimmed large branches, lowered them to ground with ropes, and did not damage any ground cover or plantings around trees. Very professional, crew took their time (about four hours to do work), cleaned up, and even trimmed some low branches from another younger tree for free. Highly recommend service. Fees are very reasonable. Also, owner and employees are trained arborists/horticulturalists...they know what they're doing!!

We found them on Angies List. They were reasonably priced and they were cheaper than the other places that would do it. They ground the stump so well that we cannot say that there was a tree there at all. They took some time to respond to our call. We think it is a husband and wife team and she takes the call and gives it to him and he calls when he gets some time. So their responsiveness to our need was not very good.

They are highly reliable and they offer fair prices. I would use them in the future if needed.

They were very knowledgeable with their work. It looked good and they were professional. They cleaned up after they finished.

We live in an over hundred year old house and the landscaping in this one acre plot is also a hundred years old. I had one side of the street cleared out and everybody on that side of the house came out and clapped. They told me that they were very happy that I finally did something with that mess. It is an outstanding company. Brian is very knowledgeable about trees, their diseases and what I should do. I did not want them going through the yard to cut down this Maple tree which happens to be in one corner. So he volunteered to come when the ground freezes. I was surprised to be told that they work during the winter. So they came and worked a good part of the day. I think it was 5 degree with the wind blowing. I went out there and offered them stuff and they had everything they needed and they just did a fantastic job. They are amazing. We had custom built our house from where I came from and I had everybody lined up who I would use. Then we moved here and we don’t know anybody. It is quite a challenge.
