Description of Work: Cleaned the dead wood and broken branches, raising the canopy of the silver maple in my front yard. Also installed cables to help support branch unions.

+ -1 moreThey removed the old tree and prepared the ground for my new tree very well, grinding out all the old roots. The new tree (planted by a local nursery a short time later) is doing beautifully, so I know they did a good job. They were prompt and pleasant. I also asked them if they could trim away some branches from a neighbors tree that was intruding into my garden, which, with my neighbor's permission, they willingly did. I don't believe they even charged me for that. I understand that King Tree Service uses arborists, which not all tree services do. Arborists know what they're doing.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and removed a diseased river birch, then prepared the ground for a new tree.

+ -1 moreWOW WOW what a great company. when you ask for work. They visit and walk property. Detail per tree etc the work to be done. Soon after you receive a price breakdown in the mail. you agree and they schedule the work. The crew who does the work (and they have ALL the necessary equipment) even climbers and all are gentleman who know what they are doing and do not mind you watching. The are pleasant and professional. The clean up is superb. I have used them twice so far and both experiences have been great. I'm in the process of scheduling more work. (10/13) They are a full service tree company with Arborists on staff. I will use them for tree treatments. I can not say enough about there people. A real find.
Description of Work: complete trim of many trees. Take down of two trees. this year and three last year 20012 clean up of all debris. Fill in with soil after stump removal.

Everything was done with precision and care to our property. They are very responsible handling and completing the job. Clean up after the trees were removed was outstanding. If it wasn't for the fact that the deadwood was cut from my trees and they were trimmed back from my roof, I would have thought they didn't show. Very professional! The gentleman that did my estimate was very friendly and professional. he had lots of recommendations. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I called for and estimate On two very large red oaks( one of the red oaks was to be split between my neighbor and myself) and a medium sized sassafras. I contact them because they said they were insured. I will not hire anyone who is not insured. Their estimate for me was 3,250.00 my neighbors estimate was 1,200.00. I cannot comment on the company's job performance because i did not use them. But my jaw dropped and so did my neighbors on the estimates they gave us. We went with another company who was bonded and insured. This company did all the trees i asked to be taken down Plus one more very larger red oak. They did a fantastic job. Total cost 1,700.00. I saved 1,550.00 and my neighbor saved 600.00 (Plus i got the extra red oak tree removed) Which if i were to have this company do it would mean another 800.00 to my bill.. I have no idea why the price was so far apart so all i can say is it pays or (saves) to shop around.

Description of Work: They attempted to nurse an evergreen tree back to health. Came out once to diagnose and treat and a second time to re-treat.
