A Affordable Hauling

Jim (owner), sent his son out to give a quote. They were incredibly personable and professional from start to finish. They completed the job quickly and even took away some odds and ends I had for no extra charge. Wonderful experience all around!

We had a truckload of 20+ years of "stuff" removed from the basement and garage. They answered the phone when I was requesting information (others did not return my messages), came out quickly to provide a quote and performed the work based on my schedule. The hauling was done quickly and professionally. Based on my experience with them, I have referred them to others as a trusted company.

The project went well. Spoke with Jim in getting prices, available dates, etc... Jim was very nice to work with. Returned my calls promptly. Even though they were late by about 30 minutes, I did not mind. Jim called me twice during the day to let me know why his team was being delayed and gave me ETA's as to when they would be there. Once they arrived, the three man crew were very nice and professional. We have Hardwood floors throughout the house and they made sure nothing was scratched or damaged, while the TV's were being moved. Would use them again for a large or small job.

It was so so at best. They left some stuff here.

They were very prompt & responsive. I appreciate how quickly they provided an estimate & came out to collect items. I wasn't sure whether or not we received the Angie's discount. They were going on vacation over Winter Break & due to my work schedule I couldn't be there on the day they picked up items. My husband felt they did a good job & I'm relieved those items are out of my basement.

I called to get an estimate. Jim came by within 20 min and had a look. With a quick estimate, he was off. I called a day later to schedule the work and they made it by the next business day. Three guys showed up, picked up everything they said they would. Gave me a hand with removing a faucet from a sink. Accidentally picked up my garbage disposal. And cleaned up all their workspace nicely. They came back with the garbage disposal and picked up a few more items. Pros: Immediate service/attention. Very close location. Very thorough job. Cons: Not the lowest price service.

After several unsuccessful calls/inquiries to other haulers, I called on Friday afternoon, and by noon Saturday my belongings were gone. Price was as discussed, sight unseen. I will use this company again.

She was willing to send someone out yesterday, the same day I contacted her. She was very nice. The price was very reasonable, and they were also very accommodating. They came exactly when they were supposed to. Those items that can be donated to charitable organizations are, so it was nice they didn't automatically take them to the dump if the items are in good shape and can be used by someone else. I like the fact that they were a local provider; they are part of the community I live in.

Everything went beautifully. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and were very pleasant and courteous. They were willing to do to whatever had to be done. I was very satisfied, this was the 2nd time I used their service.

They were really nice. Because the house sold so fast, we needed them out there right away. They were very busy. They came the next day and did part of the job and then they asked us if they could come two days later to do the rest of it. They split it so they could get started on it, which was fine. The people who did the job were very courteous. They basically did whatever we asked them to do. They removed everything and anything. They were very easy to work with. They were very knowledgeable on how to move things. They did a great job. We had issues with moving a bed frame out of one of the bedrooms and they worked and worked and got it out. They were on time. It was one whole day and part of another day. They were very good. They were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

On time, reasonably priced, work was done in a timely manner, has done work for me and my family in the past.

Our experience with A-Affordable Hauling was terrific! I called Jim early on a Saturday morning. He answered right away, was incredibly friendly, and scheduled a pick for the same day, just a few hours from my phone call. He called again later with an ETA, and then again to say that the truck would meet us in the alley in a few minutes. The crew was right on time and very fast removing the materials. I would absolutely use the company again and would recommend them to anyone who needs stuff hauled away.

Great job! I called A-Affordable Hauling and they quickly responded. Since I placed my initial call, the owner kept me informed daily about when his crew could stop by to give me an estimate. The guys showed up today, exactly when promised and not only gave me an estimate, but offered to take the armoire that very day! The price was fair, so I could not say no! The guys helped me empty the cabinet and were super-friendly and super-careful. It was a huge, ungainly armoire, so their care ( and their strength) were impressive!

From what I can recall, everything was fine. I don’t believe there were any additional fees associated with the Big Deal.

First when I called Jim was terrific. He was very friendly and really took time with me. The day before our appointment he called to confirm and the day of he called 15 minutes before they arrived so I could secure my dog. The crew was very polite and got the job done quickly. I definitely would call upon them again and refer them to my friends and neighbors.

Called Jim on Friday afternoon, and he and his helper arrived early Saturday to remove three sheets of heavy mirror glass from the garage. Very courteous, very easy to do business with. I was worried about the safety hazard of these large sheets of heavy glass in terms of both sitting in the garage and in terms of handling. Jim and his helper had done this sort of thing before and everything went great. I would use A Affordable Hauling again without reservation.

We left a message regarding what we wanted hauled. This company returned our call to explain why they didn't pick up clay. I would definitely call them if we needed something else hauled.

Jim seems like "just a nice guy" Spoke with him, explained I was having kitchen remodeled and needed stove & refrigerator removed. Asked him if there was any way he could move my fridge into the basement and remove my basement fridge, along with taking and old cabinet & TV. He said he'd have to come take a look, to see everything, and to figure a price. We agreed on a time for him to come,he came on a Saturday, which was very convenient for me. Once he arrived, I told him my mother, who lived just 5 houses away, had a couple of things to get rid of, and would he go down there to take a look as well. He said sure. We looked at my stuff, he measured the items and the doorways, and said yes, they'd be able to take everything, and move the fridge downstairs. We walked to my moms, and he took a look and agreed to take them as well. Jim said he need to discuss with his son and would be in touch with a price. We spoke the next day. He gave me a price, and I was able to negotiate a bit, and he dropped the cost by $50.00. Awesome! Scheduled a pick up day for him to send his crew. I had to work, so I gave Jim my moms number. They called the night before to confirm with her, and again the next day when they were on their way. Mom reported to me that the guys were very nice and very polite, and "so strong"! At first, they told her they couldn't take the stove, because it was not disconnected. But then they ran out to a hardware store to buy a cap to put on the pipe, and went ahead and disconnected and removed the stove. I figured since Jim had not told me anything about disconnecting the stove, it was on them. They could have been jerks about it, and not done it, but they were very professional and came through! All my items were removed, my fridge was moved to the basement, and Moms items were removed. All went well!

Jim, the owner was very courteous and professional during the initial call and prior to his crew arriving. He was also flexible with me as I made a last minute change to our appointed time. Jim, his son and crew did an excellent job of carrying out the items and they were big and heavy pieces of furniture, TVs, etc. that I needed hauled out as I was moving. The crew was also friendly and joked with each other as they worked to move the heavy furniture, as if it was an enjoyable thing to do!

Jim, the owner, called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. They took everything out of the basement I asked them to and they were all very nice and polite. I've used them before and would use them again but I'm moving to TN.
